The day before the expected date of the trip, walking around Ho Chi Minh City, I went to the ticket office at the pier to buy us tickets for the next day for a flight at 16:00. At the ticket office I was told that there would be no flight at 16:00, the last flight would be at 14:00. But, unfortunately, this time did not suit us, because. we had to pick up our passports after 13:30 and by two o'clock in the afternoon we did not have time to arrive at the pier.
Back at the hotel, I thought, maybe I misunderstood the girl at the box office, maybe she said that at 16:00 there were no more tickets, not a flight. Still, it's strange to cancel a flight on Friday, just when many Ho Chi Minh residents go to Vung Tau for the weekend.
I asked at our hotel about tickets for the rocket at 16:00, they confirmed to me that there are tickets. Then we decided to go to the Vina Express website and book tickets online: the system allowed us to do this, we saved our ticket reservations, and the next day after receiving our passports, we took a taxi to the ticket office. They showed us the reservation, but we were again told that this flight would not be today, that it was canceled! I wonder if we paid for tickets or even bought them at a travel agency or at a hotel? Then we would have had to go to return the tickets… Fortunately, this time we did not lose anything except time and 60,000 VND for a taxi. Therefore, we asked the cashier to write us the address in Vietnamese for taxi drivers, from where minibuses leave for Vung Tau and drove there. And after a couple of hours we were already walking along the embankment in Vung Tau, and the next morning we went up to.

The promised travel time to the airport is 3 hours (!), we arrived in 2.5. Moreover, half the time they gathered people around Vung Tau and the surrounding area.
Minibuses start running from 5 am, so if you need to go to the airport early in the morning, calculate your time correctly so as not to be late for the flight.
