UAE in December, January and February
December the weather spoils with a temperature of + 27 ° C during the day. Northern winds begin to blow, but the water still heats up to +24°C, and the swimming season continues. What to see in the UAE?
Must visit the most-most of all Arab wonders:

In the mosques from this list, as well as in the Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai, non-Christians are allowed freely and free of charge (on Friday - an exception, closed to tourists).
We can say that Dubai in the UAE is the only city that is good in any season. Even in summer +40°C there is where to hide from the heat, and there is something to do at the same time (of course, if you are ready to spend the whole vacation miles away in air-conditioned shopping centers).

We do not get tired of repeating that the key to a good vacation is a thorough study of reviews. And for those who are too lazy to read multi-books, I have summarized all the important points in one small list like this:
- They write on the Internet that the UAE is a Muslim country, and therefore one should adhere to certain rules in clothing, especially for women: for example, do not appear outside the hotel with a frank neckline and open knees. All this is outdated information, in Dubai girls-girls-women calmly walk in leggings and tops, in short shorts and dresses.
P.S. but here the choice is already yours - whether to respect local traditions, or prefer your own comfort. - The country has a dry law, alcohol is prohibited here. But an exception has been made for foreigners - you can drink in bars or restaurants (in Sharjah this is the strictest). In Dubai, alcohol is not sold in stores.
- You should not go to the Emirates during the holy month of Ramadan - there are many restrictions. But after Ramadan, you can and even need to go, especially for shopping lovers: all large stores arrange sales. In 2020, Ramadan falls on April 23-May 23.
- The beach season in the UAE is year-round. But the sun in these latitudes is so active and strong that Europeans burn out even in cloudy weather. Take more sunscreen!

When is the cheapest time to visit the UAE?
For those who want to save money and travel to the Emirates outside the holiday season, December or the end of May may be the best month.
It is also worth paying attention to where to choose a tour. As mentioned above, the coast of the Gulf of Oman has a milder climate than the resorts of the Persian Gulf (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah or Abu Dhabi). And Sharjah and Ras al-Khaimah will cost less than futuristic Dubai or the capital Abu Dhabi.

Looking for a discounted tour
Unfortunately, they have become a regular occurrence in the UAE in recent years.
On November 17, 2013, a storm hit. In different parts of the coast fell from 80 to 190 millimeters of rain. Schools and colleges have closed. Dubai was even going to cancel the Dubai Airshow. The hardest hit were Fujairah and Ras al-Khaimah. Roads, houses and parks flooded. One person was killed - Lieutenant Hassan Rashid Al-Shamili, his car was washed away by a stream of water.
In 2014, on March 25 and 26, the storm hit Dubai and Sharjah. Roads were flooded and drivers took 3-4 hours to get home instead of the usual 30-40 minutes. A huge traffic jam has formed on the Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In 2016, on March 9, a downpour in Dubai. The movement of cars in the city almost stopped. Almost 300 millimeters of rain fell.
In 2017, on March 24, storms hit all the emirates of the Persian Gulf coast. Wind up to 75 kilometers per hour, 95 millimeters of precipitation fell. The Desert Warrior Challenge stage was postponed in Ajman, Etihad planes could not fly to Abu Dhabi, and many kilometers of traffic jams formed in Dubai. The trend is frightening
Storms have hit the UAE every year since 2013. It is impossible to predict the moment of a storm, and accordingly, it is difficult to plan a vacation in such a way as to avoid it. Fortunately, the storm will not spoil the holiday completely, but will only “eat” a few days.
The Emirates themselves are very afraid of these hurricanes. It is not surprising, because they rarely see rain, a banal puddle is an extraordinary phenomenon for them, they are afraid of ordinary lightning. In addition, they have no experience of driving on wet roads, hence the high number of accidents.
Snow in the UAE
Snow in the United Arab Emirates in the modern era was observed three times in the mountains in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
On December 30, 2004, snow fell for the first time. Then it caused an extensive reaction in the press in the UAE and the world. Sheikh Saud ibn Saqr Al Qasimi (the ruler of Ras al Khaimah) personally climbed the mountains to look at the snow and took some to show his subjects.
Snow in 2004 fell as a result of a sharp cold snap, which in the rest of the emirates led to disastrous consequences. More than 500 road accidents have been reported in Dubai, including one fatal.
On February 5, 2017, there was the last case, snow fell on Mount Jabel Zhais. A huge car line of those wishing to look at the snow lined up to the mountain. The authorities did not let people on the mountain, but some Emiratis managed to get there and ride the snow slides, as reported by CNN.
