On August 25 and 26, Gorky Park will host a festival in honor of its 90th birthday. All weekend guests will enjoy the audiovisual performance "Metamoskva", the final exhibition of the Green School workshops and master classes, the theatrical procession of the Green School campus and much more. Start at 12:00. Participation is free.
More than 150 events will take place in the park over the course of seven days: creative festivals, street performances, master classes, lectures, piano concerts, etc. At the end of the holiday, a big concert will take place, at which Luna, Neneh Cherry (Sweden), the Soul surfers, On-the-Go and Musya Totibadze. On August 25, Gorky Park begins to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The organizers have prepared an extensive program for visitors - concerts, shows, sports, flash mobs and performances. The large-scale festival will begin with a multimedia performance on the Golitsyn pond, which will tell about the history of the park from the day it was opened to the present day. A performance by a choir of two hundred voices, actors, opera artists, choreographers is also planned.

Story Central Park culture and recreation begins in 1923, when the entire "urban empty land" became part of the vast territory of the 1st All-Russian Agricultural and Handicraft-Industrial Exhibition.
