Where you can relax with your family for the weekend. Where to go on the weekend

Summer will soon fly by, but there is so much more to do! If it suddenly rains, don't be discouraged, as we have a lot of ideas where to go in Moscow on the weekends. And if the weather still pleased you, and there is a chance to spend the whole day outside, take a look in our piggy bank anyway: we will tell you about the park and the summer cinema. We have selected options for any time of the year.

This summer presented Muscovites and guests of the capital with a new and truly unique project, which thousands of children and adults have already become fans of: the Moskvarium Oceanography Center was opened on the territory of VDNKh. Previously, such a curiosity could only be found in Dubai or Barcelona. Here you can get acquainted with a variety of inhabitants of the underwater world, watch a water show and even swim with dolphins (the swimming center with dolphins will open in 2016).

Tip: in order not to stand in line, it is better to purchase tickets in advance on the Internet. If possible, it is better to visit the oceanarium on a weekday, since on weekends Very many visitors.

There is another oceanarium on Dmitrovskoye Highway not far from the Altufievo metro station. Here you will get acquainted not only with the inhabitants of the underwater world, but also be able to feel like a resident of the jungle, see exotic animals and birds and take a walk in a cave under a waterfall. For young visitors, quests, entertainment programs are held, here you can celebrate an unforgettable birthday. Take a picture with a penguin, feed exotic fish and watch a fur seal show - positive emotions are guaranteed!

If you once again faced the task of where to go in Moscow on a weekend with a girl, and you want something romantic and sublime, the best advice in this case is the Ostankino TV tower. The level of adrenaline jumps already in the high-speed elevator: the ears are pawned, and the numbers of floors are changing with cosmic speed. Here you are on the lookout. The whole capital is at a glance, it captures the spirit, and it’s even scary to approach the glass. But this is not all the “sights” of the TV tower. There is a concert hall "Korolevsky", where you can arrange an enchanting buffet reception and the well-known restaurant "Seventh Heaven".

We offer motorists to visit the museums of retro cars: the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology, the Museum of Vintage Cars on Rogozhsky Val and in Autoville. Thanks to such places, you can plunge into the history of the automotive industry and see what cars people used to move a century ago. A guide to museums, directions, opening hours can be found.

And now it's time to devote time to art. One of the galleries where you can go on weekends with your family is the gallery of Ilya Glazunov. The museum opened in 2004, but has already become one of the most iconic places in the capital. More than seven hundred works of the great master are presented here, the entire exposition occupies three floors. Glazunov's work is dedicated to the history of our state, its culture, way of life and heroes of Russian literature. Everyone should see the canvases and architectural creations of the artist. The gallery is located in the center of the capital, opposite the Pushkin Museum im. A.S. Pushkin, next to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and you won’t be able to pass it by.

Yusupov Palace

Another place of spiritual food is the Yusupov Palace (Volkov-Yusupov Chambers) in Bolshoy Kharitonievsky Lane. Despite the fact that the building is one of the oldest in the capital, it has survived almost unchanged to this day. A.S. lived there for several years. Pushkin. Today, theme evenings and interactive performances for children, literary evenings and educational excursions in a foreign language are held here. You will learn about the golden legends of the palace, the history of the Russian nobility and Moscow during the time of Ivan the Terrible.

The palace is notable for its interior decoration. However, in the palace now preventive work is underway, we are looking forward to its opening and follow the information .

Why don't we listen to jazz? Moreover, in Moscow for fans of this musical direction there is a wonderful "Union of Composers", hidden in one of the Moscow courtyards. For the first time the club opened its doors to music lovers in 2007, and during this time many jazz stars managed to visit here: from Andrey Makarevich and Vladimir Kuzmin to Al Foster and Victor Bailey. The club has a very cozy hall with tables, and any concert can be enjoyed with a glass of wine and delicious cheeses. There are also business lunches with very attractive prices. Tickets for the concert can be purchased both online and at the box office.

Clowns and jugglers, trained animals and acrobats - how much joy and laughter they bring to people! Going for another portion of positive emotions is, of course, the circus on Vernadsky, one of the oldest and loved by millions of spectators. Take a look at the circus website - the catalog of performances is impressive: trapeze gymnasts, a dog academy, and aerial tightrope walkers. Fans of spectacle will have something to look at.

Entire volumes of books have been written about the Kremlin, this is the first and most important place for any tourist, and Cathedral Square is his heart. These are the Assumption and Archangel Cathedrals known to everyone since childhood, the Faceted Chamber and the bell towers of Ivan the Great. Be sure to attend lecture programs and creative classes. For schoolchildren there is the Club of Antiquities Lovers, where young visitors get acquainted with the history and culture of our state in a fascinating way.

Beautiful weddings, carriages, a duck pond, a park with shady alleys and even cages with peacocks can all be seen in Kuskovo, the residence of the Russian aristocracy founded by the Sheremetyevs in the 18th century. Today, concerts, festivals and exhibitions are held here, the announcement of which is on the website. Art lovers will be delighted with the collections of the main Palace, the Grotto, the Italian and the Dutch houses. Promotions and competitions are periodically held, including the beloved Night at the Museum.

Yes, some classical music seems boring, to which you can only fall asleep. And they are absolutely wrong. To join the beautiful and understand the mystery of real Music, you should make it a rule to visit the Moscow Conservatory. Go once, twice ... and understand why people at concerts cry and give a standing ovation. Run to Bolshaya Nikitskaya!

By the way, the conservatory is possible, so follow the poster.

Another weekend in Moscow. Where to go on a fine evening? An outdoor cinema in Gorky Park is a great idea for the warm season. The sound here is excellent, and the organizers did not forget about 3D. And if you freeze, they will immediately give you a warm fluffy blanket.

And, finally, if you just want to escape from the bustle of the world, then we advise you to visit the park of the Novodevichy Convent, the views of which will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. You can enter the monastery itself only until 17.00, be careful.

This scientific, educational and entertainment center opened just a year ago on the territory of VDNKh. And if you still haven't been to the Moskvarium, run to correct the situation! Even if you have been, come anyway, because you can look at the numerous underwater inhabitants from different parts of the world endlessly. In addition, the spectacular show program is constantly updated. So, today the aquarium staff is preparing for its guests a magical New Year's show called "The Lost World", which is the first ever and the only musical in the world with the participation of marine animals!

Address: Prospekt Mira, 119, building 23, VDNKh metro station

Petting Zoo "ENOTIYA Country"

Of course, you have already gone to the big Moscow Zoo with your whole family and maybe even more than once, but have you ever been to a petting zoo? After visiting one of the four such zoos of the Strana ENOTIYA network, you will want to return there again and again. They do everything to create the best conditions for communication between visitors and animals. Hold pets in your arms, stroke, play, feed as much as your heart desires! This petting zoo is home to raccoons, foxes, alpacas, sheep, goats, meerkats, degus, pheasants and many more, with new ones constantly joining.

See the addresses of the contact zoos of the network.

RockZona climbing wall

The next option will also be a useful rest for the body - rock climbing. The RockZona center is sure that this is a sports quest not only for your muscles, but also for your head! The climbing wall, created by the legendary climbers of our country Vladimir Netsvetaev-Dolgalev and Salavat Rakhmetov, has a modern spacious bouldering hall, as well as a gym and a recreation area. Here you will find a variety of trails with planes of varying degrees of inclination for both beginners and professionals.

If your children really enjoy spending time in RockZona, you can send your child to the children's rock climbing club O "SKAL, whose training takes place on the territory of several climbing walls in the capital, including in the center of RockZona.

Monster Hills Restaurant

Monster Hills invites the whole family to its amazing world - a planet where unearthly creatures and fabulous plants live. The dishes in this unusual restaurant correspond to the specifics of the institution and will delight both children and their parents with their "terrible" appearance. Be sure to come with the whole family to get acquainted with the world of Monster Hills and its inhabitants: a sea of \u200b\u200bdelight, originality and delicious food awaits you!

Address: Khodynsky Blvd., 4, shopping center "Aviapark", metro station "Airport"

Interactive museum "Lunarium"

You should definitely look into the Moscow Planetarium, because there is always something interesting for visitors of any age. The Lunarium interactive museum deserves special attention, the exhibits of which will appeal to the whole family! The premises of this modern space are located on two floors. The section called "Comprehension of space" is an imitation of a space station with themed compartments. And each exhibit of the "Astronomy and Physics" section is a kind of scientific laboratory, in which anyone can "work hard": create an artificial cloud or even a tornado, compose electronic music, find out your weight on other planets - only a small part of the upcoming fun.

Moscow has a lot of entertainment for every taste and budget, and in this article I have prepared a list of the 10 best places to go with a child in Moscow.

In recent years, hundreds of places have appeared where you can go with your child in Moscow. However, among this variety it is very difficult to choose the best and decide where it is better to spend time with the whole family.

For those who are on a budget, numerous Moscow parks will be an excellent choice, where you can have a great day with your child at no extra cost. The capital of our Motherland is full of contrasts, and there are also such entertainments for which you will have to pay half the monthly salary. In my personal rating of places where to go with a child in Moscow, they did not get.

So, where can you go with a child in the capital and enjoy the time spent with your family?

Here are 10 best places to go with a child in Moscow.

No. 10. Moscow Children's Book Theater Magic Lamp

A small and cozy puppet theater with a soulful atmosphere in the center of Moscow offers performances for the smallest children, from only 3 years old. The theater is located in the center and has a flexible booking system: if the child suddenly falls ill, you can cancel the reservation right on the day of the performance. I recommend going with a child in Moscow to the play “A Kitten named Woof”.

Price: 900‒1200 rubles

No. 9. Sokolniki Park

One of the largest parks in Moscow, Sokolniki is a great place to visit with a child of any age. There is an amusement park, many paths for cycling, rollerblading and skiing in the winter season. There is also a skating rink in winter. Unlike another popular Moscow Gorky Park, in Sokolniki you can drive a wheelchair absolutely everywhere and it is not so crowded here. Here you can look at ducks and swans on the Golden Pond, see squirrels (just don't feed them, please), play on one of the many playgrounds, ride a train (as in the photo). And if you are looking for places to go with a child with disabilities in Moscow, then Sokolniki will be an excellent option: the environment is friendly to strollers, and there is an Emerald City playground on the territory that takes into account the needs of children with special needs.

Price: for free

No. 8. Moscow Planetarium

The oldest planetarium in Russia and one of the largest in the world, the Moscow Planetarium can please astronomy lovers of any age, although I recommend coming here with children from 6 years old, because younger children can be bored and incomprehensible. I must say right away that you need to book the Planetarium all day or split the visit into two days: there are a lot of activities and information. You should definitely visit the Big Star Hall and the Urania Museum, as well as the Lunarium Interactive Museum (children under 6 years old are free). I do not recommend going to the Theater of Fascinating Science - boring and definitely not worth the extra 600 rubles. Tickets can be bought in advance, but there are no discounts on the website.

Price: from 550 rubles, many benefits

No. 7. Moscow circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.

The Nikulin Circus is one of the oldest and most famous circuses in Russia, where you can go with a child of any age. If you live in Moscow or happened to be passing through here, this is a must-see place. The unusual atmosphere of childhood, an interesting program that is watched in one breath by children from 2 to 100 years old, the opportunity to take pictures with circus animals (alas, expensive). I highly recommend going to the Magic of the Circus program, regardless of whether you have children: adults leave the performance almost happier than the younger generation.

Price: from 500 rubles

No. 6. Park of the State Farm named after Lenin "Lukomorye"

One of the best free places to go with a child in Moscow. Although, from a technical point of view, the park is located in the Moscow region, it is only two bus stops from the Domodedovskaya metro station. The park is designed for a wide variety of age categories, and it is better to come here for the whole day, to the opening at 9 am. At noon, you can already get into a long line, and the wait will take from half an hour to an hour and a half: the number of people on the territory is limited to avoid crowding. The atmosphere of a fairy tale and fun reigns in the park: you can watch a mini-performance, jump on a trampoline, climb in a rope town, see your favorite fairy-tale characters, “swim” in a pool with balls and do face painting (for an additional fee).

Price: for free

No. 5. indoor ice rink

One of my favorite pastimes is ice skating. And although I really love outdoor skating rinks, their indoor counterparts are significantly superior to the first in terms of ice quality: for this reason, skating with children on them is much more pleasant, and there are much fewer people. There are a lot of indoor skating rinks in Moscow, and I advise you to choose the one that is closer to your home so as not to carry heavy skates and warm clothes far. The Grad skating rink in the Gorod-Lefortovo shopping center suits me according to its location: the skating session lasts one hour, the schedule is published on the website. There is a skate rental and sharpening service.

Price: up to 12 years - 250 rubles, adult ticket - 350 rubles

No. 4. Oceanarium on Dmitrovskoe shosse

The largest oceanarium in Russia is located in the shopping center "Rio" on Dmitrovsky highway. Compared to the oceanarium, the Moscow one is much more modest in size and variety, but, nevertheless, there is something to see: bloodthirsty piranhas, sharks, Dory fish, penguins, jellyfish and stingrays, as well as many other inhabitants of the deep sea. You can come with the little ones.

Price: on weekdays: children under 5 years old - free of charge, from 5 to 14 - 250 rubles, adults - 500 rubles. 50 rubles more on weekends

No. 3. Aquapark Kva-Kva Park

A great place where you can go with the whole family with children in Moscow. In the photos it is huge, in life - a little smaller. But, despite the size, here you can find many interesting slides, fountains, attractions. Carefully study the age restrictions: on interesting slides there is an age limit of 10 years, and for children 3-8 years old there is a children's playground. I recommend going to the water park in the warm season, as at deep sub-zero temperatures there is a draft: it is easy to catch a cold.

Price: children under 4 years old - free of charge, from 120 to 150 cm - from 540 rubles, adults - from 940 rubles

No. 2. kidzania

One of those places that I look at and am terribly jealous of today's children: as a child, I would swallow a hat to go here. KidZania opened in Moscow quite recently, but has already gained thousands of fans, including me. This is a city-shaped play-learning park where kids can try hundreds of different professions: cook, dentist, policeman, fireman. The child will have his own passport and even a salary that he can spend on entertainment or in the store. If your child is over 7 years old and is completely independent, then you can save on the cost of a ticket for yourself and wait for him outside the park. The duration of your stay in KidZania is 4 hours, but during the summer holidays there is no restriction, and you can spend the whole day here.

Price: children - from 390 rubles, adults - from 500 rubles

And here is my personal favorite in the list of places, where to go with a child in Moscow:

No. 1. Museum Experimentarium

If you are looking for where to go with a child in Moscow, I highly recommend the Experimentarium museum. I have been to the museum several times already, and always left only with positive emotions. It is interesting here for both adults and children: you can touch everything with your own hands, conduct experiments, learn a lot about physics, chemistry, space, solve puzzles, jump and run. In addition to the most interesting permanent exhibition, the museum holds classes, lectures and shows every day: the schedule is on the website. In my opinion, this is the best value for money among all the places where you can go with a child in Moscow.

Price: children under 3 years old - free of charge, from 4 to 16 - from 450 rubles, adults - from 550 rubles

But, in fact, despite this list of the best places to go with a child in Moscow, it does not matter exactly where you go; the main thing - do not forget to take a good mood with you, and then even an ordinary walk in the park will bring you and your child joy! :)

Where else to go in Moscow?

2100 rubles as a gift on Airbnb!

Looking for a place to stay in Moscow? My husband and I's favorite travel option is renting a room or apartment on Airbnb. Here is a link to a discount of 2100 rubles for the first booking.

Have you already visited all the interesting places in Moscow with your child?

It is coming to an end, and with the approach of the weekend, the question of how to spend the long-awaited days of rest increasingly arises. For those who do not want, as they say, to lie in front of the TV all their free time, but have firmly decided to visit various interesting places, Moscow is ready to offer a lot of options.

Let's try to get to know some of them better.

Section 1. Where to go for free

Do not despair if your family's budget is limited. Despite the fact that the capital of Russia is considered one of the most expensive cities in the world, there are enough places where you can relax cheaply or even for free. Surprisingly, such leisure can include visits to museums, theaters, concerts, discos and yoga classes.

Many Muscovites and guests of the city believe that the most interesting places to walk are parks. First of all, these include Babushkinsky, Perovsky, Kuzminsky, Tagansky, Izmailovsky, Tushinsky, Filevsky, Krasnopresnensky, as well as Baumansky Garden, Muzeon and the Hermitage Garden.

By the way, in Gorky Park and in the Pioneer cinema you can do yoga on weekdays. Not everyone knows that all sites are equipped with locker rooms, and those who wish are given mats.

Free dance lessons are held in Gorky Park. There are also many nightly youth discos with free entry. Weekends can be spent at Squat Café, Bilinqua or Cuba Libre.

Section 2. Cultural events for free? It's real!

Talking about the most interesting places in Moscow, one cannot but mention the numerous exhibitions and museums. It should be noted that every third Sunday of the month the best museums of the city open their doors to visitors for free. In addition, the Water Museum, the Metro Museum, the Museum and the Museum of Light are glad to see their guests every day. They are also open to the public.

The Moscow Event Theater on Varshavskoye Shosse offers to watch performances for free. If you liked the performance, then you can pay for a ticket an amount from 100 to 500 rubles. True, you should pay attention to the fact that you need to book seats in advance by phone or on the theater website.

Do you love classics and are looking for interesting places? Moscow is just the city where connoisseurs of beauty should go. For example, you can enjoy the music of famous world composers in the Rachmaninov and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatory. Free performances of the chamber ensemble and choir, international festivals, concerts of organ music, violin and piano are constantly held here.

You can see the panorama of Moscow on Sparrow Hills, where survey binoculars are issued for this purpose. The capital is also rich in other attractions: temples and monasteries, nature reserves and ancient estates.

Excursions to these places do not require special expenses.

Section 3. Zoos of Moscow

All kids love to watch animals. That is why, when talking about interesting places, one cannot fail to mention zoos.

Many will agree that this is the perfect place for a family holiday. Contact zoos will allow the children to get to know the animals better. Here you can stroke and feed them, and while children communicate with charming representatives of the world of fauna, adults can relax or have a snack. Zoos "My little world" on the street. Tushinskaya and "Animals as toys" on Novoyasenevsky prospect welcome their guests of any age.

A special pride of Moscow is the Moscow State Zoo, on the territory of which various species of animals and birds are kept. This is the oldest and largest zoo in Russia.

Section 4. Water parks of the capital

There is an opinion that the most interesting places are located in the center of Moscow, which means that getting to them is not quite, to put it mildly, convenient. This is nothing more than a delusion. For example, those who live in more remote areas are probably closer to the huge entertainment complexes, which, as practice shows, are rarely built inside the Garden Ring.

For example, the largest water park is "Moreon" in Yasenevo. The complex is equipped with extreme slides, a swimming pool and a playground, massage baths and steam rooms, cafes and bars. The pools are surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees. Another water park "Kva-Kva" is no less attractive. There are also water slopes of various heights, children's attractions and pools, water cannons and a jacuzzi. On Saturdays, Kva-Kva (Mytishchi) hosts night parties of the Shine project.

The Aqua Yuna water park with a new attraction for surfing was opened 8 km from Moscow. The park is divided into children's and adult zones. In total, there are 9 slides from 2 to 10 meters high, some of them have downhill.

Section 5. Interesting and its theaters

In the center of the Russian capital there is the only anti-cinema "Kino House" with closed halls, karaoke and video games. This is an unusual place - in the halls there are cozy sofas, board games, karaoke, 3D. The romantic atmosphere in small rooms is conducive to dates, and in large rooms you can spend time with friends.

The performances are reminiscent of a black and white cartoon. The silhouettes on the canvas seem to come to life and simply fascinate the audience with their play. Special transforming chairs allow you to watch the production from any corner of the hall. Children will simply be delighted with visiting this institution.

The famous Yury Kuklachev Cat Theater pleases the audience with the performances of their pets. A unique world of kindness and warmth reigns here, cats perform with dogs, and an adult feels like a child.

Section 6. Conquering the depths of the sea

Many will agree that you can endlessly talk about interesting places in Moscow. "Where to go?" - such a question in this city, perhaps, is asked extremely rarely. More often, local residents and guests of the capital are trying to solve the problem associated with the lack of time in order to cover everything they want.

For example, why not admire the beauty of the underwater world in the aquarium on Chistoprudny Boulevard, 14? The exposition consists of more than 200 aquarium complexes, where various species of fish and sharks live. The store provides a wide range of aquariums and equipment for it. Visiting the aquarium takes place daily by appointment. The Shark Feeding Show is held twice a week.

The largest Oceanarium is located on Dmitrovskoye Highway, where you can watch the underwater life of the inhabitants inside the tunnel. Representatives of flora and fauna from all over the planet are gathered here. Visitors can become spectators of a colorful fur seal show or shark feeding.

If you want to swim with dolphins, then feel free to go to the dolphinarium at the All-Russian Exhibition Center. Pleasure is not cheap (5000-10000 rubles), but emotions for life. The cost of the dolphin show is 400-1200 rubles, depending on the location. After the performance, you can take a picture with or ride a child on a boat "drawn" by dolphins.

Section 7. For lovers of the stars

The Big Planetarium is one of the best planetariums in the world, which is not only an educational center, but also a stellar theater where you can take a tour through time and space.

The complex includes the Urania Museum, the Lunarium Museum, the Sky Park, the Large and Small Star Halls. Interactive and space exhibits, educational games and 4D films let you learn about space and space discoveries.

Section 8. Winter fun

In winter, the oldest skating rink with two skating rinks operates in the Hermitage Garden. For the convenience of visitors, the following are provided:
  • school of figure skating;
  • children's Corner;
  • locker rooms;
  • skate rental;
  • cafe.

Another skating rink is open near GUMA from 10:00 to 24:00 in winter. Its ice cover does not melt even in +10˚C weather, and evening lighting creates a special fairy-tale atmosphere.

So, after reviewing the list of proposed options, it is quite possible to conclude that Moscow is ready to offer interesting places for every taste and wealth. And all that is needed for visitors is to tune in a positive way and be ready to be surprised.

Beauty Moscow is an ancient and truly magnificent Russian city. Moscow, like a powerful magnet, attracts millions of tourists from all over the world who want to admire its countless cultural treasures and historical sights. In our article, we will tell you where to go in Moscow to see the capital in all its splendor and touch its innermost secrets and centuries-old traditions.

1. Kremlin

The Kremlin is the first place that every tourist must visit in Moscow. The ancient Moscow Kremlin, located on the banks of the Moskva River, is the main attraction of the Russian capital and the most recognizable architectural symbol of Russia. Stone walls and powerful towers, erected in the XIV century, not only reliably protected the city, but also served as its main decoration. Today it is already difficult to imagine that for five centuries the Moscow Kremlin was white stone, and only at the end of the 19th century acquired the usual red color. The most famous of the twenty towers of the Kremlin is the Spasskaya Tower with the main Kremlin gates and the famous chimes. There are many ancient Orthodox churches on the territory of the Kremlin, including three cathedrals: Assumption, Arkhangelsk and Annunciation. One of the most interesting museums in the Kremlin is the Armory with its rich collection of grand ducal and royal treasures.

2. St. Basil's Cathedral

During a tour of Moscow, you should definitely visit the main Orthodox attraction of the city - St. Basil's Cathedral on Red Square, which rightfully belongs to the number of the most beautiful churches in Russia. This is a real masterpiece of Russian architecture, reminiscent of a bright fairy-tale decoration: each dome of the cathedral has a unique color, and its walls are generously decorated with skillful painting, semicircular kokoshniks and other decorative elements. The cathedral was erected by order of Ivan the Terrible in the middle of the 16th century in memory of the capture of Kazan. The temple got its name in honor of St. Basil, who had the gift of clairvoyance and enjoyed special respect from Ivan the Terrible. Currently, the cathedral houses a museum exposition dedicated to the history and architecture of the temple.

3. Arbat

The next place in Moscow where every tourist should go is the Arbat. A walk along this famous pedestrian street in the center of the capital will allow you to fully experience the charm of old Moscow, as well as appreciate its modern sights. The Golitsyns, Tolstoys, Sheremetevs and other noble families once lived in the old mansions of the Arbat. Among the famous residents of the Arbat was Alexander Pushkin, who lived here for several months with his wife Natalia Goncharova. In memory of this, the Pushkin House Museum operates on the Arbat, and opposite it there is a sculptural composition "Pushkin and Natalie". One of the most famous buildings of the Arbat is rightfully considered the Vakhtangov Theater, which is definitely worth a visit for connoisseurs of high art. In addition to historical places, on the Arbat you can find many souvenir shops, shopping centers, cafes, restaurants and rather unusual entertainment venues. So, for example, here you can visit the Hard Rock Cafe, the Giant's House, the Museum of Optical Illusions and the Museum of Perfume. And talented artists and musicians, who constantly stay on the Arbat, create a unique creative atmosphere here and give residents and guests of the capital a festive mood.

4. Diamond Fund

One of the most interesting attractions in Moscow for tourists is the Diamond Fund, whose exposition is located on the territory of the Moscow Kremlin and is one of the largest and most famous collections of precious stones in the world. The exhibition of the Diamond Fund presents imperial regalia, masterpieces of jewelry art, rare precious stones and large diamonds. Among the most significant exhibits are the Great Imperial Crown, the imperial scepter with the Orlov diamond, the imperial orb with a diamond belt and a large sapphire, a giant emerald and the Mephistopheles gold nugget. Acquaintance with the collection of the Diamond Fund will impress even the most demanding visitors.

5. Bolshoi Theater

Every fan of opera and ballet should definitely go to the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, which deservedly enjoys the reputation of the main theater of the capital and is widely known not only in Russia, but throughout the world. Its history began in the second half of the 18th century, during the reign of Catherine II. And the modern building of the Bolshoi Theater, depicted on a hundred-ruble bill, was built in the middle of the 19th century. Over the years, Galina Vishnevskaya, Elena Obraztsova, Maris Liepa, Maya Plisetskaya, Nikolai Tsiskaridze and other world-famous opera and ballet stars have performed on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. A few years ago, a grandiose reconstruction was completed at the Bolshoi Theater: now the interior of the building has been recreated in the spirit of the pre-revolutionary era with its inherent imperial luxury. The productions of the Bolshoi Theater are very popular, so it is better to buy tickets 2-3 months before the performance.

6. Historical Museum in Moscow

The State Historical Museum is a popular tourist destination in Moscow, which will be of interest not only to history buffs. The attraction is located on Red Square and has a unique collection of exhibits demonstrating the development of the history and culture of Russia from ancient times to the present day. The museum was founded by order of Emperor Alexander II, who dreamed that every inhabitant of the Russian state would know their history and be proud of it. The collection of valuables of the Historical Museum of Moscow is so large that if you stop near each showcase with exhibits, by the end of the tour you will have traveled about 3.5 kilometers. The collection includes primitive tools, jewelry, ancient coins, ancient Russian chronicles, military armor and many other artifacts. Among the most memorable exhibits are a huge boat made of solid oak from the Stone Age, Novgorod birch bark letters of the boy Onfim, the first printed book "Apostle", the royal throne of Ivan the Terrible, a huge globe of Peter I, a letter on a walrus tusk and a luxurious saber of Napoleon Bonaparte.

7. Gostiny Dvor

Old Gostiny Dvor, located in close proximity to Red Square, is a large trade and exhibition center and the oldest gostiny dvor in Moscow. Since the 16th century, the wooden building of the Gostiny Dvor housed merchant shops and warehouses. During the reign of Catherine II, Gostiny Dvor became the most fashionable place in Moscow: the urban aristocracy bought clothes, jewelry and interior items here. Today, the spacious premises of Gostiny Dvor are used for charity events, grandiose shows, fashion shows and thematic exhibitions.
