What is the fastest way to get to Crimea by car? Options for movement through the Krasnodar Territory. Crimean bridge: all about the construction of the XXI century in the Crimea The bridge in the Crimea when it began to be built

In Crimea, the "construction of the century" continues - the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait. How realistic is it to build it without risk for its subsequent operation? Is it possible to carry out all the work without embezzling the allocated funds, and is the Crimean infrastructure ready to accept the flow of cars and trains that will go along the bridge that is still under construction? We are talking about this with Petro Koval, an engineer of communications, a member of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, Volodymyr Harnachuk, head of the Clean Coast.Crimea public organization, and Oleksandr Kava, ex-Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

More than 2,000 people from all regions of Russia are working on the "construction of the century" - the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait. Temporary infrastructure is being created for non-stop work, the foreman says Alexander Revinsky. There are working bridges designed for the transport of people and the delivery of materials, the operation of heavy cranes. Prayers are praying for the construction, TV spots are filmed about the progress of the work. Despite all efforts, the Russian government postpones the start of the temporary operation of the railway part of the bridge for a year, and the costs increase by almost 6 times. The preliminary estimate of the cost of the bridge was 40-45 billion rubles, now the cost has increased to 245-250 billion, and, apparently, this figure is not final. However, the Kerch Bridge is primarily a political and image project, and, most likely, the facility will be built. This is not the first attempt to build a bridge across the Kerch ferry. In 1944, the erected temporary bridge destroyed the ice after 3 months. The threat to builders lies both in the muddy seabed and on land, Yevgeny Rogozhin, deputy director of the Institute of Physics of the Earth, believes: the slopes on the shore of the strait are inactive. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the need to build a bridge immediately after the annexation of Crimea. In 2014, the Ukrainian side withdrew from the construction agreement with Russia. The construction contract was concluded in 2015 - in the amount of 223.1 billion rubles. The construction of the navigable part of the bridge has now begun. The height of the fairway part will be 80 meters. At the same time, priests are actively involved in the work - they pray for “strengthening the spirit of the builders so that there are fewer temptations, and the process is completed on time and with proper quality,” Mikhail Viktorov, rector of the St. Alexander Nevsky Church in Sevastopol, said.

Recently, the Russian Forbes published a letter from the general contractor to the general customer with requests to allocate money for construction. Judging by what is stated on the public procurement website, 57 billion rubles were paid out of the order of 223 billion. This year, out of 57 billion, builders received less than 10.

– Candidate of Technical Sciences, member of the Academy of Civil Engineering of Ukraine Petr Koval is in touch with us. Peter, what could delay the financing of the construction of the Kerch bridge?

Koval: For each project, a construction organization project is developed, where everything is clearly described in terms of technology requirements. For example, concrete must take 28 days to gain full strength. There is no funding - the chain is interrupted, the technology is broken, the quality of work suffers. Given the complex logistics of the work, this is very influential. Of course, in Russia there is experience when a lot of money is rushed to the end of construction by an emergency method, and the work is completed on time. But this greatly degrades the quality, and even here there are doubts about the reliability of the structure. It is technically possible to build a bridge. They were also building in 1944. The question is how long this building will last. Such structures must stand for at least 100 years. But with this quality of work - this is a question. Of course, prayers are needed here, it will suddenly help.

- What can damage the bridge structures, which are now in the Kerch Strait?

Koval: The requirements for seismic stability of the structure were artificially reduced. And we know what earthquakes were in the Crimea. In addition, there is a conflicting bottom, thick layers of silt, it is difficult to rely on reliable soils. There are tectonic gaps between the plates. In winter - strong winds, icing. Basically, serious accidents happen due to the coincidence of negative factors. And there are more than enough of them. And the reliability of the structure should be ensured more seriously than it is done.

- In addition to natural conditions, the quality of work is strongly influenced by the corruption component. Some workers from the Kerch side have not been paid salaries for almost 2 months. According to one of the workers, the company is called LLC "Business Resource", the contract specifies one amount, in fact another is paid, but there are problems with its payment. The salary should be paid every 2 months, however, the days of payment are not specified in the contract.

We are in touch with the head of the public organization "Clean Coast. Crimea" Vladimir Garnachuk. Vladimir, can workers' complaints indicate a strong corruption component of the work? And will the bridge be completed and with what quality?

There is no doubt that the bridge will be completed, because it is a landmark building for Russia and Crimea, which will connect the mainland and the peninsula

Vladimir Garnachuk

Garnachuk: This is a typical story for the construction of grandiose objects. Let me remind you that the Stroygazmontazh company, owned by a very close friend of Putin, is engaged in construction. Arkady Rotenberg. The price has already increased several times. But there is no doubt that it will be completed, because it is a landmark building for Russia and Crimea, which will connect the mainland and the peninsula. Here the principle “we will not stand behind the price” is being implemented. There are many problems, including engineering ones. But, again, the bridge will be put into operation - possibly with a delay of up to a year, that is, in 2020.

- Some Crimeans hope that the Kerch bridge will solve many problems of the peninsula. Will it happen?

Garnachuk: It won't solve all problems. Because the problems of Crimea lie in the inefficiency of governance and corruption, which increase the cost of goods.

- The question is not only the bridge, but also whether the Crimean roads will withstand the increase in load - by the way, Vladimir Putin also spoke about this, demanding to find those responsible for the construction of the highway from Kerch to the peninsula.

Former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kava is in touch with us. Alexander, are the Crimean roads ready to receive traffic that can go through the Kerch bridge? What needs to be done to make the Crimean infrastructure cope with it?

The Ukrainian side was not ready to finance such a project, we already have enough problems, and the construction of the Kerch bridge was not a priority

Alexander Kava

Kava: First of all, build the Tavrida highway, which has been repeatedly announced. This axial road should connect the Kerch bridge with Simferopol and Sevastopol, and the already existing network will play an auxiliary role and provide access for Crimean residents to the highway.

- Crimea is an unrecognized republic. If the bridge is completed, will the Ukrainian Crimea need it?

Kava: Ukrainian - not so much. Therefore, the decision to build it until 2014 was not made. The Ukrainian side was not ready to finance such a project, we already have enough problems, and the construction of the Kerch bridge was not a priority.

This spring in Crimea turned out to be especially hot. Both in terms of weather and in terms of events, the main of which was the opening of the Crimean bridge. The road to the Crimea has become much easier, because now you don’t have to depend on the weather and storms, and you don’t have to pay a round sum for the crossing - travel across the bridge is free. Three and a half weeks of traveling around the Crimea by car are in the past, and it's time to take stock and write trip reports. I begin a series of reports with a story about the road to the Crimea: we went there by ferry, and we were already driving back across the bridge. Go!

The road from the Crimea on the bridge

I would like to tell you more about the Crimean bridge, so I'll start with the way back.

Unplanned, our trip lasted for several days, as we were waiting for the opening of the Crimean bridge in order to go to Moscow along it, along the villages and along the M4.

On May 16, we got up at 5 am in order to drive up to the bridge as early as possible and be among the first to ride on such a long-awaited structure. The day before, the president opened traffic on the bridge, having driven from Taman to Kerch driving a Kamaz, and from 5 in the morning of this day, the possibility of passing appeared for cars and passenger buses.

I was a little nervous, expecting some set-up, for example, in the form of a long inspection before entering the bridge and because of this long traffic jams. Waking up at 5, the first thing I grabbed the phone and built the route Kerch-Moscow in the Yandex navigator. Either the service did not have the data, or they decided to tickle the nerves of the pioneers of the Crimean bridge, but it showed that the journey through the bridge would be 3.5 hours longer than using the ferry crossing. Yes, and the notification brought out that the formation of a deaf plug is possible. Well, no, we didn’t believe such tales, loaded our things into the car and cheerfully headed along the still sleepy Kerch to the new overpass to the bridge. The navigator did not remove the floor signs, which were not relevant, but still led us to the entrance to the construction site of the century.

A column of bikers and cars with Russian flags was moving towards, and the flow to Crimea was much larger than from it. They even created a small traffic jam in one place (there were a lot of bikers), and for the first time I envied the traffic jam, since you can’t stop on the bridge, but you want to take a thoughtful photo, so the traffic jam is the only chance. I didn’t care about the photo at all, since I was holding a long stick with a camera, pulling them out through the sunroof of the car, the wind was hoo that I managed to shoot, see below.

Crimean bridge: photo, travel, review

Our new bridge is the longest in Russia and Europe, with a length of 19 km. We were driving at the maximum permitted speed of 90 km/h, the Kerch Strait and dawn were visible on the sides. New day, new bridge, new way to get to Crimea.

In addition to the fact that the opening of the bridge is a historical event, it is also a big saving for tourists, because a ferry crossing for two + a car costs 2000 rubles. one way. And the bridge saves a lot of time, we passed it in 15 minutes. The distance across the bridge to Moscow is about 200 km longer than through Port Kavkaz, but still the journey home is faster. Here is a diagram of entrances to the bridge from the Internet.

We reached the Moscow Ring Road in 18 hours, which included lunch and stops in the poppy fields. Usually we spend the night in Voronezh, but this time we rushed without rest.
The approaches to the bridge are well made, the quality of the roads is good.

Trip to Crimea by car in spring: route, review, tips

In Taman we saw a gorgeous poppy field and hung for at least half an hour. Zhenya flew a drone over him, and I climbed the grass with my phone.

It was impossible to pass by such beauty!

We drove part of the way through the villages, as there were traffic jams on the M4 in the Kuschevka area, and then along the M4. In one place there was an unfinished road several kilometers long.

There are good roads in the villages of the Krasnodar Territory, but you constantly have to overtake trucks.

There are problem areas on the M4 in the Rostov region, the road will not be completed in any way. There was a small traffic jam in the opposite direction, but in the direction of the sea everything was powerful, at least for an hour.

The crossing in Timashevsk slipped through and was not noticed, there were no traffic jams in Losevo. I wrote about avoiding these problem areas last year, here .
This time we did not take food with us, so we had to look for a place for lunch on the M4. The choice fell on the Pomponchik cafe at the Lukoil gas station. The establishment aroused confidence, as the staff is in uniform, there is a consumer corner, an evacuation plan, a clean bathroom - we decided to eat. The choice of dishes is small, everything is simple and understandable: soups, dumplings, dumplings, pasties ... I ate chicken soup and half of the dumplings, since the portion is elephant. Dumplings, by the way, homemade, delicious.

While waiting for the opening of the bridge, we lived in two guest houses. First, in the Guest House on Bolshaya 12 ( photos and reviews ), where we spent the first days in the Crimea and decided to stay with them again at the end of the trip.

We spent the last night at Monika's guest house ( photos and reviews ) - not bad, but I would not want to stay there for more than a day, because the smoking room near the windows just pissed me off, the neighbors just smoked, it seemed that we were in a gas chamber. Why it was impossible to make a smoking room at the bottom near the entrance, I do not understand. Everything else is good.

Traveling around Crimea by car, part 1: Kerch fortresses and bridge

Traveling in Crimea part 2: Opuksky reserve, Koyashskoye lake and eastern Crimea

The road to the Crimea before the opening of the bridge

The road to the Crimea was hard for us, because we left at night, we were not getting enough sleep.

For the first time in their lives, they even stopped to take a nap on the side of the road, as there was a danger of falling asleep at the wheel.
We left, as usual, at the beginning of five in the morning, but this time we could not follow the usual schedule of a trip to the sea. Usually we end up in Rostov-on-Don around 15-00, this time we got there only by 18-00. The navigator led through Azov, villages and Timashevsk, while we were driving along the fields, the sun had already begun to set. It was still cold in Moscow then, the greenery did not come out, but here it’s summer.

The day before, I booked a room at the Villa Vita guest house in the village of Golubitskaya, as I felt that we would not reach Crimea one day. Golubitskaya is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov, from it to the port of the Caucasus is within easy reach. We got to our room around midnight and had a great night's sleep. The guest house can rather be called a mini-hotel, which pleased me ( photos and reviews ).

We also have experience of spending the night near Timashevsk, in the village of Olkhovskaya, here my review .
In the morning we were fed a wonderful breakfast, which was especially valuable after the previous day on sandwiches with sausage and eggs.

We got to the ferry quickly, there was no one at the registration, well, almost no one. If, given the opening of the Crimean bridge, you still decide to go through the crossing, then read my detailed report on how it all happens.

Ferry to Crimea

After registering and receiving tickets, we made many stops on the shores of the Sea of Azov, so we arrived at the port closer to dinner.

Fruit trees were in full bloom in Taman. We didn’t fit on the first ferry, there was only one place left, but we didn’t go along the length, so we let Logan through, and we were glad that we had to go to another pier, which means again to stand at the crossing, undergo inspection. I got angry.

In Kerch, the Guest House on the street was booked in advance. Big 12 - I recommend. There are several Ukrainian-style houses on the territory, and the cafe serves excellent food - I only ate such dumplings with cherries at my grandmother's.

The end of April in Crimea turned out to be warm, we sat outside in the evening and enjoyed the birdsong, warm wind, fresh air and the feeling that the journey is just beginning, a lot of adventures and emotions await us ahead. Everything turned out just fine, I will tell about everything in the following reports.

The construction of the Kerch Bridge is ahead of schedule. Starting in February last year, the workers immediately picked up a good pace. By the fall of 2017, the prospects for early completion of construction were not so illusory. Although the project participants themselves still do not answer a direct question whether it is possible to complete the construction of the century before December 2018. Kryminform compared forecasts with facts. And there was hope.

Indirect signs

The main work on the construction of the Kerch bridge began with the driving of piles for the foundation of the supports in early March 2016. The first support was ready in April. By the end of the year, the builders had already erected more than 200 supports, almost doubling the original annual plan. In the spring of 2017, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov announced that the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait was ahead of schedule.

“Last year (2016) the project confidently passed the equator point, now construction is even going ahead of schedule. We confidently declare that next year the working traffic on the automobile part of the bridge will be opened,” Sokolov said.

At the same time, both the minister and the project participants do not specify whether traffic on the road part of the bridge will be launched earlier than planned in December 2018.

Indirectly, the fact that traffic on the bridge can be opened much earlier than the end of 2018 is evidenced by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. The text of the document was published on October 6 and was in the public domain for several hours on the official Internet portal of legal information, after which it was deleted. However, its copy remained in the editorial office of Kryminform.

The order of the Government of the Russian Federation concerns the timing of the opening of the labor movement and the start of the temporary exploitation of the so-called. This new four-lane highway with a length of 8.6 km should connect the Crimean bridge and the Tavrida highway no later than May 30, 2018.

In the future, they plan to link the auto-approaches with the Kerch road network and the new railway station. However, this project is currently at the design stage. Traffic on the interchange is unlikely to be launched before 2019, when both the station itself and the railway approach to the Kerch bridge will be built.

Thus, by May 30, 2018, auto-approaches will remain isolated from the existing urban road network of Kerch. This means that the launch of through traffic on the road is possible only when traffic is opened on the bridge. The synchronism of work on the auto-approaches and the Kerch bridge itself was repeatedly announced by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Construction calendar

Statistics also testify to a significant advance in the construction plan. The calendar schedule for the production of work on the object "Construction of a transport passage through the Kerch Strait" is published on the public procurement website. According to the document, the construction of supports in a number of sections was planned to be fully completed only in September and even October of the next year, and the installation of spans at once in three sections out of seven - only by November 2018. Meanwhile, according to official information, by mid-October, only 13 pillars remained to be erected for the road part of the bridge: from the island of Tuzla and the Kerch coast to the fairway.

In other areas, this type of work is fully completed. The spans covered about 15.5 km of the road bridge out of 16.8 km provided for by the project. . Part of the bridge spans is yet to be concreted before asphalt is laid. These works have been completed by 80%: out of 66,000 cubic meters of concrete, the builders have only 13,000 cubic meters left to pour.

And the Kerch bridge on the fairway supports. This operation has become not only one of the largest, but also the most important for completing the work on time. The installation of arched spans was delayed due to unfavorable weather. But in the end, the builders managed to put them on the fairway supports before the protracted autumn-winter storms and thereby minimize the impact of weather on the pace of bridge construction.

Builders do not experience problems with financing either. The Russian government has already allocated almost 167 billion rubles (about 75% of the contract amount) for the construction of the Crimean bridge. At the same time, the construction customer - PKU Uprdor Taman - accepted the work performed in the amount of more than 102 billion rubles, which is almost half of all funds provided for the project.

December 2018 continues to be the official opening date for motor traffic on the Crimean Bridge. However, over the two years of work, the builders have repeatedly surprised by the pace of the construction of the bridge. It is possible that next year will bring another surprise from them.

The idea of creating a transport passage to the Crimea was revived together with the accession of the peninsula to Russia in 2014. The implementation of this grandiose project will connect the Crimean region with the mainland of the state, open up great opportunities for enhancing the tourism industry of Crimea, and Russians will have the right to visit the peninsula without having to cross.

Surely, every Russian is interested in the question of how the construction of the bridge to the Crimea is going and when it will be built. Now it is in full swing, and in this article the project of the Kerch bridge and its features are carefully studied.

May 15, 2018 update. It's done! Read our article on the solemn. From May 16, everyone will be able to go to Crimea by car across the bridge!

History of the Kerch bridge. In fact, the idea of the bridge arose long ago, back in the days of the Russian Empire, under Tsar Nicholas II. The initial sketch of the project was created back in 1910, but the bridge was not built due to the outbreak of the First World War.

Then they returned to the bridge project in the 30s, during the time of Stalin (who built it in Malaya Sosnovka). Then the idea was to build a railway across the Kerch Strait, but the beginning of the Second World War prevented the implementation of the bridge.
In 1944, in the shortest possible time, a railway bridge was erected in seven months, which, however, was dismantled in 1945 due to damage to part of the supports by ice from the Sea of Azov.

Another sketch of the project, taking into account all the errors, was created in 1949, but it was also not implemented.

Russia and Ukraine actively discussed the creation of a transport passage through the Kerch Strait in 2010-2013, and a bilateral agreement was signed. But the construction of the Kerch Bridge began after the entry of Crimea into the Russian Federation.

This project is technically very difficult. From several options, a sketch of a bridge across the Kerch Strait with a total length of 19 kilometers across the Tuzla Spit was chosen. The bridge will have 4 lanes of a highway with a speed of 120 km/h and 2 tracks for railway transport.

The length of the Kerch bridge to the Crimea

The capacity of the bridge is up to forty thousand vehicles per day. It is stated that the passage on the highway will be free. Although there is a lot of controversy in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet as to whether the passage on the bridge will be free for motorists. Every now and then there are opinions and rumors that some kind of fee will still be charged for the fare.

The exact answer will be known when traffic begins on the Kerch bridge, but, judging by indirect evidence, it will still be free. For example, this is evidenced by the fact that funds from foreign investors were not involved in the construction. The entire project is funded by the state. This may have been done on purpose to keep cars free of charge.

Stroygazmontazh, a well-known Russian businessman Arkady Rotenberg, has been appointed as the contracting company for the construction of this grandiose project.

At least 70 proposals were considered before choosing this company. It was necessary to find a contractor that met all the requirements for construction time, cost and contract performance guarantees.

This company has a good experience for the construction of such a project. Stroygazmontazh is the main contractor of Gazprom for the construction of gas pipelines.

Stroygazmontazh LLC also has the right to engage subcontractors: it is known that certain negotiations were held with companies from South Korea to attract professionals to work.

Construction cost

How much does a bridge to Crimea cost? The Kerch bridge will be one of the most expensive bridges in the world due to the complexity of the construction. The initial cost was 50 billion rubles, but then it increased due to the combination of road and rail lines. The weakening of the Russian currency against the US dollar also contributed to the increase in value.

In the winter of 2015, according to the results of the auction, the maximum cost of work was set - it amounted to 228.3 billion rubles.

The construction of a transport crossing across the strait is financed by the state with funds from the National Welfare Fund.

Length and width of the Kerch bridge

The bridge structure is being built along the Tuzla spit. This will allow using a small piece of land in the strait to strengthen the entire structure. To meet the time frame, construction is underway in several places at once.

The length of the bridge to Crimea is 19 km. Among them:

 • 7 km: section of the sea from the Tuzla spit to the island of the same name;
 • 6.5 km: land on the island;
 • 6.1 km: section of the sea from the island to Kerch.

The width of the bridge will consist of four traffic lanes of 3.75 m each, a shoulder width of 3.75 m and a 0.75 m reinforced shoulder.

The depth of the Kerch Strait at the bridge construction site

The width of the Kerch Strait is from 4.5 to 15 km. The maximum depth is 18 meters.

The support piles will be anchored to stable bedrock to reinforce the entire structure. The piles will be driven into the ground to a depth of 90 m.

For this will be used:

 • reinforced concrete supports for immersion up to 16 m in the Kerch area;
 • piles from pipes with a reinforced concrete core for immersion up to 94 m in the main section;
 • supports made of reinforced concrete for immersion up to 45 meters in the area of the Taman Peninsula.

Delivery and completion of the construction of the Kerch bridge

Undoubtedly, everyone is looking forward to building a bridge across the Kerch Strait. This large-scale project is planned to be implemented as soon as possible (in four years). According to the plan, as early as December 2018, the labor movement can be launched. The deadline for the completion of the Kerch bridge is June 2019.

Bridge across the Kerch Strait on the map

It will be possible to get to the Crimean peninsula from the territory of Russia through the new bridge in the Krasnodar Territory, on the Taman Peninsula.

The Kerch Strait and the bridge to the Crimea on the map:

In addition to the bridge itself, approaches to it will also be built: roads and railways so that residents and guests of Russia can freely move from Crimea to the mainland of the state and back. These approaches will be part of the A-290 Novorossiysk-Kerch route, which passes through the city of Anapa.

From the outside, the length of the approach will be 22 km, from the side of the Taman Peninsula - 40 km.

The construction and commissioning of the Kerch bridge will open up great prospects for domestic tourism in Russia. To visit Kerch, Simferopol, get a good tan on the Black Sea coast, swim and just travel through the wild places of Crimea, you will not need to prepare a passport. It will be enough to buy a train ticket or get into your car - and you can go on a trip!

Video about the construction of the Kerch bridge:

It happened: the Kerch bridge was finally opened, which connected the coast of the Krasnodar Territory with the Crimean peninsula. Now cars are already driving on it.

The event is undoubtedly solemn - but what to do with it? The beach season is about to open, including on the Crimean coast. How to get to the bridge and ferry? Yuga.ru tells guests of the Krasnodar Territory and local residents about routes to the Crimea. By the way, it is worth considering that this year the guests of the peninsula have a unique opportunity to move across the bridge without obstacles in the form of heavy vehicles. Until October, the entrance to the bridge. They will still use the ferry.

Six paths to the Crimea through the territory of the Kuban

The most impressive route in terms of length is the road along the M4 Don highway towards Novorossiysk. From the hero city, you need to go to the Novorossiysk-Kerch highway, which is indicated on the maps as A290. The length of such a path is about 570 km(according to the Yandex.Maps service).

Another route one of the shortest- this is to follow the M4 "Don" highway to the 1159th km of the highway (to the village of Kislyakovskaya), where you need to go to Timashevsk, and then to the A290 highway, which was mentioned earlier.

The third way, the most unloved by Krasnodar residents, is, in fact, via Krasnodar. Get to the entrance to the city, exit to the Eastern Bypass, then to the Western. From it there is an exit to the Krasnodar - Verkhnebakansky highway (on the map it is A146), and from there turn onto the Novorossiysk - Kerch highway. Let's just say that this path is not the longest in length, but you need to be prepared for impressive traffic jams in Krasnodar and not only. We will have to face traffic jams in the area of Krymsk and the village of Verkhnebakansky.

The fourth route runs through detour of Krasnodar. Before reaching the regional center, you need to turn on the section of the highway (on the map it is the 1278th km) M4 "Don" in Korenovsk towards Timashevsk, where you can go through the Bely farm to the A290 highway, which will lead to the Crimean bridge. This is one of short routes.

A little earlier, in the area of the village of Pavlovskaya, you can also turn to Timashevsk and, in fact, repeat the previous route. There is no particular difference in them. The only difference is that to Korenovsk you will move along the highway, and turning onto Pavlovskaya, you will immediately find yourself on restrictions up to 40-60 km per hour. That is, the difference in 60-70 km of the way is leveled out in time.

Finally - the shortest route. Having left the Rostov region, get to the 1145th km of the M4 "Don" highway, where you should turn to the village of Kanevskaya (the turn in the area of the village of Kushchevskaya, do not confuse). Then follow in the direction of Timashevsk and the Bely farm. After - go to the Novorossiysk - Kerch highway, which will lead to the Kerch bridge. On the A290 highway, you need to move to new interchange on the Taman Peninsula(it is difficult to miss it), from which it remains 40 km along the auto-approach to the bridge. This path is the shortest in terms of mileage, amounting to about 390 km.

Further, having overcome 19 km of the bridge, 7.5 of which pass over the sea, you get to the Kerch auto-approach with a length of 8.6 km, and then to the Tavrida highway, which runs through the entire peninsula in its southern part.

Toll road to Crimea

All of the above routes relate to the entrance to the Krasnodar Territory from the Rostov Region, since the main flow of guests arrives in this direction. Moving along the M4 "Don" highway, it is worth considering such a component as paid areas. Us that, moving from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar exclusively on a toll road, you will have to pay about 1.5 thousand rubles at the terminals. If we talk about the segment from Rostov-on-Don to Krasnodar, then the amount will be about 350 rubles, depending on the class of the car and the time of day. At night it's cheaper.

We emphasize that you will give this money for the Rostov-on-Don-Krasnodar route, that is, these are two of the six proposed routes to the Crimea. In fact, the toll road is worth it - if your vacation budget includes additional expenses. Smooth high-quality asphalt, the absence of intersections, traffic police posts and the speed limit of the freeway can save time and nerves. And if you plan to make trips along the highway more than once a year, then the Avtodor company offers to purchase a subscription that will save you money.

Get to Crimea without paid sections

As for the alternative: from the Rostov region it is required to leave through Azov, heading to the village of Starominskaya. Then - through Kanevskaya, Bryukhovetskaya and Timashevsk. It is worth considering speed limits up to 40 km / h and not the best (to put it mildly) the best quality of the road surface.

On the bridge, you should pay attention to the observance of traffic rules and, in particular, to the speed limit. More than a dozen cameras for photo and video recording of traffic violations were installed along 19 km.

If you are going to the Crimea from Stavropol, then you should move along the P217 highway, through Nevinnomyssk and Maykop. Then the choice will be as follows: either drive a little faster to Taman through Krasnodar, Slavyansk-on-Kuban and Temryuk (about 530 km), or along the picturesque coast, through Khadyzhensk, Tuapse, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk and Anapa. But it is worth considering that the second option is replete with traffic jams on several sections of the A147 and M4 Don highways, in the region of Tuapse, Dzhubga and Gelendzhik.

Bon Voyage!
