The capital of our Motherland is full of contrasts, and there are also such entertainments for which you will have to pay half the monthly salary. In my personal rating of places where to go with a child in Moscow, they did not get.

No. 10. Moscow Children's Book Theater Magic Lamp
A small and cozy puppet theater with a soulful atmosphere in the center of Moscow offers performances for the smallest children, from only 3 years old. The theater is located in the center and has a flexible booking system: if the child suddenly falls ill, you can cancel the reservation right on the day of the performance. I recommend going with a child in Moscow to the play “A Kitten named Woof”.

One of the largest parks in Moscow, Sokolniki is a great place to visit with a child of any age. There is an amusement park, many paths for cycling, rollerblading and skiing in the winter season. There is also a skating rink in winter. Unlike another popular Moscow Gorky Park, in Sokolniki you can drive a wheelchair absolutely everywhere and it is not so crowded here. Here you can look at ducks and swans on the Golden Pond, see squirrels (just don't feed them, please), play on one of the many playgrounds, ride a train (as in the photo). And if you are looking for places to go with a child with disabilities in Moscow, then Sokolniki will be an excellent option: the environment is friendly to strollers, and there is an Emerald City playground on the territory that takes into account the needs of children with special needs.

The oldest planetarium in Russia and one of the largest in the world, the Moscow Planetarium can please astronomy lovers of any age, although I recommend coming here with children from 6 years old, because younger children can be bored and incomprehensible. I must say right away that you need to book the Planetarium all day or split the visit into two days: there are a lot of activities and information. You should definitely visit the Big Star Hall and the Urania Museum, as well as the Lunarium Interactive Museum (children under 6 years old are free). I do not recommend going to the Theater of Fascinating Science - boring and definitely not worth the extra 600 rubles. Tickets can be bought in advance, but there are no discounts on the website.

No. 7. Moscow circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
The Nikulin Circus is one of the oldest and most famous circuses in Russia, where you can go with a child of any age. If you live in Moscow or happened to be passing through here, this is a must-see place. The unusual atmosphere of childhood, an interesting program that is watched in one breath by children from 2 to 100 years old, the opportunity to take pictures with circus animals (alas, expensive). I highly recommend going to the Magic of the Circus program, regardless of whether you have children: adults leave the performance almost happier than the younger generation.

One of the best free places to go with a child in Moscow. Although, from a technical point of view, the park is located in the Moscow region, it is only two bus stops from the Domodedovskaya metro station. The park is designed for a wide variety of age categories, and it is better to come here for the whole day, to the opening at 9 am. At noon, you can already get into a long line, and the wait will take from half an hour to an hour and a half: the number of people on the territory is limited to avoid crowding. The atmosphere of a fairy tale and fun reigns in the park: you can watch a mini-performance, jump on a trampoline, climb in a rope town, see your favorite fairy-tale characters, “swim” in a pool with balls and do face painting (for an additional fee).

One of my favorite pastimes is ice skating. And although I really love outdoor skating rinks, their indoor counterparts are significantly superior to the first in terms of ice quality: for this reason, skating with children on them is much more pleasant, and there are much fewer people. There are a lot of indoor skating rinks in Moscow, and I advise you to choose the one that is closer to your home so as not to carry heavy skates and warm clothes far. The Grad skating rink in the Gorod-Lefortovo shopping center suits me according to its location: the skating session lasts one hour, the schedule is published on the website. There is a skate rental and sharpening service.

No. 4. Oceanarium on Dmitrovskoe shosse
The largest oceanarium in Russia is located in the shopping center "Rio" on Dmitrovsky highway. Compared to the oceanarium, the Moscow one is much more modest in size and variety, but, nevertheless, there is something to see: bloodthirsty piranhas, sharks, Dory fish, penguins, jellyfish and stingrays, as well as many other inhabitants of the deep sea. You can come with the little ones.

No. 3. Aquapark Kva-Kva Park
A great place where you can go with the whole family with children in Moscow. In the photos it is huge, in life - a little smaller. But, despite the size, here you can find many interesting slides, fountains, attractions. Carefully study the age restrictions: on interesting slides there is an age limit of 10 years, and for children 3-8 years old there is a children's playground. I recommend going to the water park in the warm season, as at deep sub-zero temperatures there is a draft: it is easy to catch a cold.

No. 2. kidzania
One of those places that I look at and am terribly jealous of today's children: as a child, I would swallow a hat to go here. KidZania opened in Moscow quite recently, but has already gained thousands of fans, including me. This is a city-shaped play-learning park where kids can try hundreds of different professions: cook, dentist, policeman, fireman. The child will have his own passport and even a salary that he can spend on entertainment or in the store. If your child is over 7 years old and is completely independent, then you can save on the cost of a ticket for yourself and wait for him outside the park. The duration of your stay in KidZania is 4 hours, but during the summer holidays there is no restriction, and you can spend the whole day here.

No. 1. Museum Experimentarium
If you are looking for where to go with a child in Moscow, I highly recommend the Experimentarium museum. I have been to the museum several times already, and always left only with positive emotions. It is interesting here for both adults and children: you can touch everything with your own hands, conduct experiments, learn a lot about physics, chemistry, space, solve puzzles, jump and run. In addition to the most interesting permanent exhibition, the museum holds classes, lectures and shows every day: the schedule is on the website. In my opinion, this is the best value for money among all the places where you can go with a child in Moscow.

Section 1. Where to go for free
Do not despair if your family's budget is limited. Despite the fact that the capital of Russia is considered one of the most expensive cities in the world, there are enough places where you can relax cheaply or even for free. Surprisingly, such leisure can include visits to museums, theaters, concerts, discos and yoga classes.
Many Muscovites and guests of the city believe that the most interesting places to walk are parks. First of all, these include Babushkinsky, Perovsky, Kuzminsky, Tagansky, Izmailovsky, Tushinsky, Filevsky, Krasnopresnensky, as well as Baumansky Garden, Muzeon and the Hermitage Garden.
By the way, in Gorky Park and in the Pioneer cinema you can do yoga on weekdays. Not everyone knows that all sites are equipped with locker rooms, and those who wish are given mats.

For example, those who live in more remote areas are probably closer to the huge entertainment complexes, which, as practice shows, are rarely built inside the Garden Ring.
For example, the largest water park is "Moreon" in Yasenevo. The complex is equipped with extreme slides, a swimming pool and a playground, massage baths and steam rooms, cafes and bars. The pools are surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees. Another water park "Kva-Kva" is no less attractive. There are also water slopes of various heights, children's attractions and pools, water cannons and a jacuzzi. On Saturdays, Kva-Kva (Mytishchi) hosts night parties of the Shine project.
The Aqua Yuna water park with a new attraction for surfing was opened 8 km from Moscow. The park is divided into children's and adult zones. In total, there are 9 slides from 2 to 10 meters high, some of them have downhill.
Section 5. Interesting and its theaters
In the center of the Russian capital there is the only anti-cinema "Kino House" with closed halls, karaoke and video games. This is an unusual place - in the halls there are cozy sofas, board games, karaoke, 3D. The romantic atmosphere in small rooms is conducive to dates, and in large rooms you can spend time with friends.
The performances are reminiscent of a black and white cartoon. The silhouettes on the canvas seem to come to life and simply fascinate the audience with their play. Special transforming chairs allow you to watch the production from any corner of the hall. Children will simply be delighted with visiting this institution.
The famous Yury Kuklachev Cat Theater pleases the audience with the performances of their pets. A unique world of kindness and warmth reigns here, cats perform with dogs, and an adult feels like a child.
Section 6. Conquering the depths of the sea
Many will agree that you can endlessly talk about interesting places in Moscow. "Where to go?" - such a question in this city, perhaps, is asked extremely rarely. More often, local residents and guests of the capital are trying to solve the problem associated with the lack of time in order to cover everything they want.
For example, why not admire the beauty of the underwater world in the aquarium on Chistoprudny Boulevard, 14? The exposition consists of more than 200 aquarium complexes, where various species of fish and sharks live. The store provides a wide range of aquariums and equipment for it. Visiting the aquarium takes place daily by appointment. The Shark Feeding Show is held twice a week.
The largest Oceanarium is located on Dmitrovskoye Highway, where you can watch the underwater life of the inhabitants inside the tunnel. Representatives of flora and fauna from all over the planet are gathered here. Visitors can become spectators of a colorful fur seal show or shark feeding.
If you want to swim with dolphins, then feel free to go to the dolphinarium at the All-Russian Exhibition Center. Pleasure is not cheap (5000-10000 rubles), but emotions for life. The cost of the dolphin show is 400-1200 rubles, depending on the location. After the performance, you can take a picture with or ride a child on a boat "drawn" by dolphins.
Section 7. For lovers of the stars
The Big Planetarium is one of the best planetariums in the world, which is not only an educational center, but also a stellar theater where you can take a tour through time and space.
The complex includes the Urania Museum, the Lunarium Museum, the Sky Park, the Large and Small Star Halls. Interactive and space exhibits, educational games and 4D films let you learn about space and space discoveries.
Section 8. Winter fun
In winter, the oldest skating rink with two skating rinks operates in the Hermitage Garden. For the convenience of visitors, the following are provided:
