In 1911, Lovelock Cave, located 20 miles south of Lovelock, Nevada, began to be excavated after guano miners came across many broken arrows and other artifacts. Somewhat later, human remains of an unusually large size were found in the cave. Due to the fact that some of them were completely covered with a layer of guano, their skin and hair were preserved - it turned out that the giants were red. Even the shrunken mummified corpses were no lower than 2.4 meters. At the same time, some bodies did reach 3.5 meters in height.
In this photo you can see the jaw found in Lovelock Cave - despite the proportional resemblance to the human, the size of the bone seems to be abnormally large. Despite the fact that many artifacts have been lost (or "lost") over the past century, some of them can still be seen at the Humboldt Museum in Winnemucca, as well as at the Museum of the Nevada Historical Society, located in Reno ( Renault). In addition, on June 19, 1931, articles appeared in the press about the giant remains found in the local lake. The skeletons were wrapped in rubber-treated cloth. Legends and traditions about the giants who lived in antiquity have survived to this day. At first glance, so what's so special about it? How many fairy tales were invented by our ancestors. But here's the strange thing, these tales have recently found more and more confirmations.
Information periodically appears in the media about strange and mysterious finds by archaeologists - giant skeletons of people. If they really lived in ancient times on Earth, then the entire existing scientific picture of the world and the history of human development can be considered incomplete or even false.
Giant people: fact or fiction?
In 2007, the Internet was literally blown up by a sensational message and photographs of skeletons of 12-meter giant people found in India, whose age was several thousand years. The credibility of this report was given by the reference to the participation in the excavations of the archaeological group of the National Geographic Society of India. But, after some time, it turned out that the photographs documenting the sensational find were forged using Photoshop. Of course, one could calm down on this and say, well, another modern fiction has been exposed. But in fact, everything is not so simple. American researcher and paleontologist Michael Kremo in his book "The Unknown History of Mankind" cites a lot of evidence that seriously contradicts the established theory of human development. These data are usually hushed up, they do not pass the so-called "knowledge filter", which filters out everything that does not fit into the existing picture of the world. Consider the available facts confirming the existence of the ancient giants.
Archaeological finds: giant mummies and skeletons of giants
Here are just a few facts of the finds of archaeologists, the authenticity of which could not be refuted. In 1890, a huge sarcophagus was found in Egypt, in which there was a mummy of a 3-meter red-haired woman with a child. This find was dated to the 2nd millennium BC. The appearance of a woman was very different from the appearance of the ancient Egyptians.
In 1911, in the state of Nevada (USA), mummies of huge red-haired people were found, their height ranged from 2.5 to 3 meters. Also in the state of Nevada in 1877, gold miners found human bones of the lower leg, foot and kneecap. Based on the size of the remains, the height of a person was 3.5 meters. But this is not the most surprising, the fossilized remains of the giant were embedded in quartzite, whose age was 185 million years, and this was the era of dinosaurs.
Skeletons of giants were found in the Caucasus, China, Central Africa, North and South America, European countries. Sometimes these finds surprised not only by their gigantic size. So, for example, in 1936, the German paleontologist Lars Kohl found the skeletons of people whose height was 3.5-3.75 meters. They were found in Central Africa near Lake Eliza. The most surprising thing was that these people had two rows of upper and lower teeth and very sloping chins.
Australia did not stand aside either, on the territory of this farthest continent, not only quite a few remains of giants were found, but also their huge tools. In 1985, a fossilized molar tooth was found there, the height of which was 6.7 cm, the width was 4.2 cm. The owner of the tooth was supposed to be 7.5 meters tall, and radiocarbon analysis data determined its age, which was 9 million years.
This is not a complete list of mysterious finds. Who are these people? Ancient Lemurians, Atlanteans, or even a race of people completely unknown to us? Is there any way to explain their gigantic growth?
There is a rather interesting explanation for this phenomenon. True, accepting it, one must also recognize the incomparably longer existence of people on Earth than is accepted by official science. Analyzing the composition of air inclusions in pieces of amber, scientists came to the conclusion that in the era of dinosaurs there was incomparably more oxygen in the air than now. This composition of the atmosphere caused the intensive growth of plants and animals - all who inhabited ancient earth. There is a hypothesis that then, along with giant dinosaurs, giant people also existed.
Giants in legends and myths
Legends of giants are present in the mythology of many peoples. Everyone knows the epic hero-giant Svyatogor.
The Indian epic "Ramayana" describes its heroes as giants: Rama's height was 3 meters, Hanuman - 8 meters, and their enemies, the Rakshasa demons, are described as 15-meter hulks.
The ancient Greeks have legends about one-eyed giants-cyclops, one of them - Polyphemus is mentioned in Homer's Odyssey. Of course, these are all the heroes of fairy tales. However, modern researchers have a point of view that the authors of these ancient legends were very concrete-minded individuals, not inclined to literary genres in the "fantasy" style. They described everything as they saw it, perhaps exaggerating a little.
There is evidence of the existence of a race of giants from less distant eras. Legends about the giant Dzhepir, who lived there relatively recently, in the 17th century, have been preserved in Georgia. Even his gigantic grave has been preserved.
E.P. Blavatsky, in describing the ancient races of Lemurians and Atlanteans in The Secret Doctrine, emphasizes their gigantic stature. The inhabitants of Tibet have the same traditions. Similar information can be found even among ancient Greek historians. So Theopompus, who lived in the IV century BC. e., talked about the race of giants, the Meropes, who lived on big island located in Atlantic Ocean.
So our mysterious and unpredictable world revealed another secret. Will humanity want to abandon such a familiar picture of the world and admit that in fact we know almost nothing about our origin and our ancestors.

After retiring, ahem, from the stage, around 1878, Mr. Shichai opened a Chinese tea shop, Oriental Bazaar, in Bournemouth, selling antiques, Chinese bronzes and silks along the way. He died in 1893, having outlived his wife by four months. In the title of the obituary they wrote: death of a famous giant.
Some sources indicate that Zhang was 319 cm tall, but this is not true; the reason for the discrepancies lies in the difference in the translation of measures - Chinese and English.
As contemporaries assured, Zhang's abnormal growth was not a consequence of the disease. According to the fellow countrymen of the giant Han, both his father and his brothers were all over two meters tall. Their family's house was called that - "the house of the giants", 长人之家 ( I wonder what from Chinese into Russian the word长 both "high" and "long" are translated; "house of the long people" J).

And an amazing thing, perseverance in the search for a giant from ancient legends, helps researchers in the excavations they are conducting in rocks whose age is about 45 million years - the excavations end with a successful find.
The researchers found a fairly well-preserved skeleton resembling a humanoid creature, and amazingly, the growth of the remains is 15 - 17 meters. Apparently luck smiles at the prospectors, and these are the remains of the very creature about which the legends of antiquity spoke. The study of the giant's skull says that it was a creature with a developed brain and organs of speech.
Experts noted that in the proportions of the structure of the skeleton, there is one difference from a person, the hands of a giant are much larger in comparison with a person. But what else surprised the researchers, it turns out that the ancient myth about the “huge shaitan” was not invented in antiquity, and the giant actually existed, and the real giant was the basis of the legends.
Historical chronicles of the 19th century often report finds in different parts of the world of skeletons of people of abnormally tall stature.
In 1821, in the United States in Tennessee, the ruins of an ancient stone wall were found, and under it were two human skeletons 215 centimeters tall. In Wisconsin, during the construction of a granary in 1879, huge vertebrae and skull bones were found "of incredible thickness and size," according to a newspaper article.
In 1890, in Egypt, archaeologists found a stone sarcophagus with a clay coffin inside, which contained the mummies of a two-meter red-haired woman and a baby. The features of the face and the addition of the mummies differed sharply from the ancient Egyptians. Similar mummies of a man and a woman with red hair were discovered in 1912 in Lovelok (Nevada) in a cave carved into the rock. The growth of a mummified woman during her lifetime was two meters, and men - about three meters.

Under the picture it was indicated that it was taken in Ulaanbaatar. At the same time, Andrews reported that the growth of the Mongolian giant is 7 feet and 6 inches (2.32 meters). Compared to Europeans, the Mongols are somewhat lower, so the appearance of such a giant in Mongolia seems even more surprising.
Sharavzhamts is considered the tallest man in Mongolia. There is a photograph of a tall man with the youngest military leader B.Lkhagvasuren and the Hero of Mongolia D.Nantaisuren. Both military men next to Sharavzhamts seem to be just children and reach only to the waist. The height of the tallest man in Mongolia when he served in the army was 275 cm. After completing his service, he returned home and died in a car accident. Then he was only 25 years old. The bones of this man are now stored in the anatomical laboratory of the Medical University.
As for the discovery in Mongolia, it is perceived by the scientific world in different ways, and such thoughts are put forward that it is all a hoax. This opinion was expressed by fairly well-known paleontologists, while in some publications they referred to the opinion of Professor Parker, a very well-known person in the scientific world.
But to answer the question - why it was necessary to create such a complex hoax, it was not possible to answer. But for this it was necessary to make a unique skeleton, secretly make a burial, and what is all this for? However, many experts confirmed the authenticity of the find, excluding the version of a hoax.
The suggestion of the British scientist Dr. Towns sounded very interesting, in which he said that the remains discovered by a group of researchers are unique. Since the remains belong to none other than an alien creature who once came to Earth. And its gigantic growth, and differences from humans, suggests that it lived and developed according to other, different from earthly conditions of evolution.
And life on other planets will probably be very different from the form of life we are used to on Earth. Another assumption about the possibility of giants living on Earth was made by a scientist from Canada, Roger Wingley. Assuming that once the Earth, revolving around the Sun, and around its own axis, had a much higher speed, when the day was about 10 hours, and the year consisted of about four hundred days, and so it was for millions of years, then the living conditions were different.
And according to the scientist, it is quite possible that the conditions of those times, and evolution, allowed giants, dinosaurs to live - and perhaps the key to giant people lies in this.
But recently, the hypothesis of the extraterrestrial origin of the once living giants is gaining more and more firmness.
