Scheherazade is another hotel in the Elbrus region that we visited and will write about it. This hotel is one of the first built on the Azau glade and one of the most popular both in winter and summer. In addition, it is located above all other hotels at the foot of Elbrus.
The location is very convenient, close to the center of the meadow and very close to the cable car. Cafes, shops, rentals - all within a radius of one hundred meters.
The interior of the hotel - a large hall, flights of stairs, stairs, cafes and rooms, in accordance with the name, are decorated in oriental style. Beautiful, like in a fairy tale.

We were offered two rooms to choose from on the third floor. The first one was yellow and blue. The room, like the rest of the hotel, is in a "fabulous" style.

Our Double Room. The conditions are the same everywhere, the choice was influenced by the view from the window. But then it became clear that in the rooms, in which the windows overlook the cable car, the whole day is quite noisy. The music is constantly playing and the lift is buzzing. So if you want silence, choose a room on the side of the mountain.

Photo of our room. All rooms have a small refrigerator, TV. Dishes and glasses and a plate. Bathroom in the room, shower, hair dryer. The sockets are not very conveniently located, if you need to charge your phones, you have to turn off the TV.
Everywhere clean, white towels, crisp bed linen. The rooms are warm, even in August the heating was turned on so that we had to open the window.
How to get there.
The hotel is located in the center of the Azau glade in the village of Terskol. The nearest airport is in Nalchik and in the city of Mineralnye Vody, Train Station eat in mineral waters or in Pyatigorsk. You can get from the airport or railway station to Terskol by public transport or by taxi. If you are buying package tour to the hotel, you need to clarify whether the transfer to the hotel is included in the tour price, since the distance to Nalchik is about 120 kilometers, to Minvod and Pyatigorsk about 200 kilometers.
If you are driving in your car, then everything is very simple. On the way along the Baksan gorge to the end of the road in the Azau glade. You will not be able to drive past, there is no further road.

Our impression.
In general, I liked everything. Very convenient location of the hotel, rentals, cafes, cable car, everything is very close. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For long stay there is everything you need.
IN ski season it is better to book rooms in advance on booking: We booked on arrival, but it was the beginning of summer.
