  • safety matches or lighters for personal use carried by the passenger with him (carriage of lighters containing non-absorbed liquid fuel (except liquefied gas), as well as fuel for lighters and refueling elements is not allowed in checked baggage or carry-on baggage. Items and substances that may be carried as passenger baggage with the permission of the Carrier:

  • small cylinders (weighing up to 10 kg) with gaseous oxygen or air necessary for medical purposes;
  • wheelchairs for the transport of patients or other battery-powered mobile devices equipped with non-leaking batteries and carried in checked baggage, provided that the battery terminals are protected from short circuits and the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair or mobile device;
  • wheelchairs or other battery-powered mobility aids equipped with leaky batteries and carried in checked baggage, provided that the wheelchair or mobility aid can only be loaded, stowed, secured and unloaded in an upright position, and provided that the battery is disconnected, the battery terminals are protected from short circuits and the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair or mobility aid.

If the wheelchair or mobility aid cannot be loaded, secured and unloaded only in an upright position, the battery must be removed, then the wheelchair or mobility aid can be transported without restrictions as checked baggage.

The removed battery must be transported in strong rigid packaging, while:

  • packaging kits must exclude leakage and not leak battery fluid; it is also necessary to provide protection against overturning by securing to pallets or by securing them in cargo compartments using suitable securing means, for example, using tie-down straps, brackets or supports;
  • Batteries must be protected from short circuits, secured vertically in such packagings and surrounded by a sufficient amount of compatible absorbent material to completely absorb the liquid they contain;
  • such packaging sets must be marked with a package placement mark, marking “liquid battery, with a wheelchair” or “liquid battery, with a movable agent” and a sign of corrosion hazard;
  • only in hand luggage a mercury barometer or a mercury thermometer carried by a passenger who is an employee of the federal executive body in the field of Hydrometeorology. The barometer or thermometer must be packed in a strong outer packaging containing a sealed inner liner or bag made of strong impermeable or puncture resistant mercury impervious material that prevents leakage of mercury from the package, regardless of its position. The passenger is not recommended to include in his checked baggage fragile and perishable items, banknotes, jewelry, precious metals, computers, electronic means of communication, monetary obligations, securities and other valuables, business documents, passports, identity cards, keys and other similar items.

The passenger is responsible for the carriage in baggage of items prohibited for carriage or handed over for carriage without complying with the requirements and conditions of carriage established by these rules.

This baggage must have carrying handles and devices for securing it when moving to the aircraft, from the aircraft and on board the aircraft.

The carrier has the right to refuse to accept oversized baggage for transportation.

Receipt for payment of excess baggage— certifies payment by the passenger for the carriage of baggage, the weight of which exceeds the norm established by the Carrier.

Transportation of skis and snowboards

On flights of our airline departing to Europe (in winter), one person can carry one set of ski / ski equipment, consisting of one pair of skis and one pair of ski poles, or a snowboard in a case and additional equipment (boots, helmet, goggles, special clothing and footwear) free of charge, provided that the weight of this equipment does not exceed 15 kg. Only one snowboard or one pair of skis with poles can be transported in one bag.

Skis, a snowboard and a set of additional equipment are transported exclusively in baggage.

If the weight of baggage, including equipment, exceeds 35 kg, or if there is a second set of equipment, payment is made according to the rules for carrying excess baggage.
