Where can you swim in Moscow?

In May 2016, Rospotrebnadzor checked the water bodies of Moscow and examined the quality of the water in them. Also, experts checked the bottom of ponds and lakes for the presence of large debris and took water samples. According to the results of the checks, swimming was allowed only on 9 beaches in Moscow. Among them:

Can you swim in the fountains?

It is forbidden to swim in the fountains of Moscow. Such a ban is in effect due to the fact that the water in them circulates in a vicious circle, and it does not undergo any purification. This means that if microbes get into it, there is a high chance of infecting bathers.

Where can you sunbathe?

More than 120 places in Moscow are equipped with beach holiday without bathing. Comfortable recreation areas have everything you need: places for fishing and barbecues, sun loungers, playgrounds and benches. Among them:

How to behave in a pond?

In order for your vacation to bring only positive emotions, you must follow a number of simple rules.

1. Swimming is allowed only in permitted areas. This way you can be sure that the bottom has been carefully checked and cleaned, and that there are no dangerous microbes in the water.
2. Don't go deeper than your waist in water if you don't know how to swim. It is also not recommended to swim behind buoys or special fences.
3. Remember that cold water can cause cramps. Therefore, you need to go into it slowly. The water temperature should not be lower than 1719 ºС, and you can swim for no longer than 20 minutes.
4. Do not enter the water after prolonged exposure to the sun. With a sharp temperature drop, a reflex contraction of the muscles can occur, which is fraught with dangerous consequences.
5. Do not swim while intoxicated.
6. Do not dive into the water in unprepared places, such as from a cliff, pier or boats.
7. Do not swim close to the ship or boat: you may be pulled under its bottom or overwhelmed by a high wave.
8. Do not use air mattresses and cameras if you do not know how to swim.

Moscow beaches: where to have a great weekend in the city

Black Lake (Zelenograd) is one of the few places in Moscow that is suitable for swimming. This unique reservoir is located in the 6th microdistrict of Moscow - Zelenograd. The coastline of the lake is surrounded by forest plantations. This gives the local area a special comfort. Vacationers feel comfortable in the bosom of virgin nature.

Although Zelenograd belongs to the administrative unit of Moscow, you can get to it only by driving through the entire Moscow region, outside the ring road. To get to it is necessary to move away from Moscow by 37 km to the north-west.

Brief description of Black Lake (Zelenograd)

Black Lake is often referred to as a "natural oasis" in a dusty urban city. Approaching closer to this territory, you really don’t believe that Moscow is not far from here. Zelenograd is the most landscaped district. This is evidenced by its name and, of course, the local nature. Green forest plantations, streams, rivers and other water bodies are found everywhere here.

Lake Black is of artificial origin. Earlier, in the first half of the 20th century, there was a peat quarry in these places. And the surrounding areas were swampy. Now the beautiful Black Lake (Zelenograd) is located here. Photos of this reservoir reveal all the charm of picturesque landscapes.

The reservoir has a peat bottom, because the waters are saturated with peat decomposition. That is why it has a dark color. The people behind the lake got a name - Black, which is now considered its official name. The reservoir is quite large, the area of ​​the water "mirror" is 3 hectares.

Peculiarities

Many are frightened by the fact that Black Lake (Zelenograd) has peat deposits at the bottom. However, despite this, it is recognized as favorable for swimming. This is evidenced by numerous studies of waters that have been carried out for recent years. The water is also home to a lot of fish.

The beach is sandy, but its territory is small. Sand was specially brought to the places intended for swimming. The main reason for this decision was that initially all coastline consisted of viscous silt. Even today you can find places that are more like a swamp. There is no railcar there, but it is not recommended to go far from the lake on your own. In the forest, special routes are marked - walking paths.

What awaits vacationers on the lake?

The beach on the Black Lake is equipped according to all the rules. There are playgrounds for children and sports grounds, changing cabins, picnic areas. It is also very pleasant that the reservoir is surrounded by a beautiful picturesque forest. The surrounding area is a great place for a family day trip.

When planning your vacation, you need to remember that infrastructure is poorly developed in these places. There are no cafes, no entertainment, no other benefits of civilization, but this is what attracts Muscovites here. Black Lake (Zelenograd) will allow vacationers to forget about the bustle of the city for a long time and fully enjoy the virgin nature.

It is crowded here at any time of the year. In summer, people come here to swim and hide from the heat. In autumn and spring, there are many vacationers who have picnics. But in winter people come here to plunge into the ice hole.

Lifeguards are constantly on duty at the lake. Entrance to the territory of the Black Lake is free. Because of this, there are always a lot of visitors here, especially on weekends and holidays.

Fishing

Lake - favorite place and for lovers of quiet fishing. Here, crucians, pikes, perches and gobies (rotans) are found in small numbers. Fishermen come here throughout the year, and the lake is especially popular for winter fishing.

You can get to Black Lake by metro to the Rechnoy Vokzal stop, and then go by bus number 400 - the first stop after entering Zelenograd.

In the meantime, rest on the White economy class. You only need to spend bus ticket to get here.

In each of the bathing areas there are changing cabins, medical stations, rooms for rescuers. Umbrellas, deck chairs, benches, a playground and sport equipment and information boards.

Correspondent federal agency news I went around several places of rest prepared for Muscovites and checked whether everything was ready for the summer.

Not for the picky

This year, the list with allowed swimming included Lake Beloe in natural history Park "Kosinsky". Signs “Swimming is prohibited” are still placed here, but they, as a rule, are ignored by vacationers: this reservoir is painfully pleasant for swimming - with a sandy bottom and relatively clear water. Next to it is another sign with emergency phone numbers.

Territory for active rest on Beloe Lake is quite compact: sports and playgrounds, a beach, barbecue facilities, a toilet - everything is at a distance of a few steps from each other. The horizontal bars for track and field exercises are adjacent to the picnic area, so they were slightly affected by a pleasant barbecue smoke, but this does not prevent those who wish to warm up on them.

There are few barbecues, in the middle of the territory there is an information board warning that it is impossible to fry shish kebabs outside the picnic area. It is forbidden to leave behind any garbage and scorched earth - a fine of four to 100 thousand rubles is due for this. However, there are two garbage containers near the fence: everything is provided so that vacationers can easily show neatness and love for nature.

But what is possible? It is allowed, for example, to bring your barbecue grills with you to the picnic area, since there are not enough stationary ones for everyone. Tables and benches - even more so. But the people do not lose heart: those who do not have enough space at the table, they eat, spreading the bedspreads on the grass.

And we are not picky, - the lady answers. - When the "savages" went to the forest, no one set tables for us there, what he brought with him - be content with that.

Under the shadow of ancient forest

IN park "Kuskovo" On the contrary, the area for barbecues is extensive. In addition, it is paved and lined with heavy wooden tables and benches. Companies smoking barbecues are also enough, despite the working afternoon. On weekends, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a table. But stationary barbecue grills are much smaller than tables. The regulars of the "Kuskovo picnic" say they stole it.

On the other hand, there are much more cozy picnic spots here than on Beloe Lake in Kosinsky Park. And very rich flora and fauna: Kuskovsky park, in addition to luxurious old manor, is also famous for rare trees, including century-old oaks. Despite the fact that the plantings in Kuskovo are already very dense, like in a forest, pine seedlings have been planted here quite recently.

In the thick of this forest are interspersed infrequent islands of civilization - sports and playgrounds, a tennis court, which, however, has not been put in order for a long time, there is even a football field, but it is clearly abandoned. At the same time, there is a demand for sports facilities here, and where this has been taken care of, visitors are willing to exercise.

IN Izmailovsky park plots equipped for barbecues are located near the 16th Parkovaya street, on the bank of the Oleny Pond, not far from the intersection of the street. In the equipped part of Izmailovsky Park, the emphasis is on sports.

The most common sports equipment here is a bicycle, which can be rented at various points in the park. True, you won’t ride here as freely as in Kuskovo: even on a weekday, Izmailovsky Park is very crowded. But no interference on the water! No, you can’t swim here, but in the middle of the western part of the PKiO there is an artificial pond where many ducks live, and there are boats and water bikes which are very popular on a sunny warm day.

The tennis court and volleyball field in Izmailovsky Park are also not empty. But the demand for horizontal bars and exercise equipment is less noticeable here. But in the northern part of the park, behind the power lines, there is a rope town popular with all ages. This attraction consists of several levels of difficulty and is of great interest to children and adults.
