Are the beaches in Feodosia clean? Feodosia

Dear Russians, sorry for you. Do not go to Feodosia until the city is put in order. Park: mud, nowhere to sit, unhappy, barely alive "flowers" in the so-called flower beds. Horror. Transport: as for pigs. Air: stench, sewage. Sidewalks: break your legs. Yards: dust, dirt, parking spaces for cars are not equipped. There is the Internet in the world, let those who are OBLIGED to work for the benefit of the inhabitants of the city, having no idea how this is done, look at the work of municipalities in France, Germany, Spain ... and try to "lick", there is no need to reinvent the wheel, everything is already in the world. Why such hatred towards the people living nearby?

Short. Everything is expensive, it stinks of sewage, there are no amenities and sidewalks, the streets, including the Kerch highway, are not illuminated, although new lights are everywhere, why they don’t turn them on, the sea is dirty, for the same money it’s better, by an order of magnitude, to relax in Turkey or Montenegro, more than a foot here.

Terrible city. There has never been such a sediment from the rest. I'm leaving for a week. Holiday down the drain

It is strange that Feodosia is a resort town, very strange. With kids, I don't think there's much to do here. Parks are not equipped for children and beaches too. A huge number of dogs, they walk in packs, climb into a stroller, is this the norm for a resort town? Almost everywhere they are fed, caps are standing near shops and in garbage dumps and near houses and in yards, I don’t know why the city authorities don’t fine for this. The sewer stinks very strongly in the city. I don’t want to offend the local janitors, they work and you can see this work, the city is basically clean, but the overflowing garbage cans and rats are also apparently a landmark of Feodosia. I can only write one thing about housing, they will even rent you a barn, here no one cares about the quality of service, they don’t care about the service, if only they paid money. It feels like the locals remained in Soviet times, I haven’t seen this for a long time to be honest. Hotels and mini-hotels are expensive, not worth it. The stores have huge problems with expiration dates and complete unsanitary conditions. SES DOES NOT EXIST HERE. The cafe has the same cuisine, especially those near the beaches. Traffic jams throughout the city, it is impossible to wait for a taxi. On the topic of hospitality, to put it mildly, I will not say anything, apparently we are so tired of everything that they no longer hide that they are tired of our presence. They had the imprudence to go on a tour of the Golden Ring of Crimea, they simply threw away the money. Not only did the driver rush like crazy all the way, but also the guide was swayed, either from speed, then from height, then apparently from tourists. Well, there are no words.

We went to Feodosia on the advice of friends who have been resting in the Crimea for several years.
The first thing that stunned is crazy traffic jams, horror, many hours. Finding accommodation for a few days is very difficult, private traders try to take from a week. The conditions for private traders are complete "savdepia". Private hotels are expensive and this is also in the absence of normal service. I didn't like the city at all. walked along Komsomol park and were surprised how busy it is. The central streets are clean, but the smell of sewerage and a huge number of dogs kill, and in packs of 6 to 10 individuals, it’s creepy. There are a lot of cafes, where you can eat, the price is normal. The sea seems to be clean, but the city beach is not so hot. Everything is very boring. Excursions are very expensive, much easier by car, but again, traffic jams. If you had a chance to ride public transport, then it is more like an attraction. Drivers public transport apparently not to be afraid of anyone, as they break the rules. And the hostility and inhospitability of the locals really caught my eye, they say so, they came here from the mainland with their own rules. Somehow I don’t want to go to Feodosia anymore, by the way, I liked it much more in Evpatoria and Gurzuf, both in terms of service and attitude.

We rest in Feodosia every year. This year we decided to take a break for the New Year holidays. Walking along the embankment, Tatar men were subjected to inappropriate behavior, it’s very unpleasant, most likely we won’t go to Feodosia again

Today, 09/26/18 visited Feodosia.
Dirty and smelly town. Right in the center, at the end of the street. Gallery, on the embankment there is a sewage pumping station (sewage pumping station). The stench is unbearable all over the promenade. I didn't want to see anything else. Especially to have lunch. We quickly got into the car and left for our place, in Ordzhonikidze.
Here, although it is also not so hot, like back in the USSR, but the water in the sea is clean.
Yesterday we went to Koktebel. There is nothing to do there either. The water in the sea is dirty, after swimming, people get a rotavirus infection, especially children.
In general, in this part of the Crimea, it’s too early to rest, especially since the prices are commensurate with Krasnodar coast, and the service is clearly lower and plus deception, i.e. lure.

On the beach, algae are not removed, garbage is lying around, rats are running around in the river, in general, there are more minuses than pluses, it’s a pity that there is no order?

We were in Feodosia in early August. First time in Crimea. We arrived by bus from Krasnodar at night, rented a room from a private owner without any problems. The price suited us. For this price and convenience, not very neat yard and kitchen in the yard. They said the beach is nearby. It turned out not very, from the bus station through pedestrian bridge through the railroad. Quite a high rise on the stairs, the heat is quite unpleasant. You can go the other way along the rails, the same is not very pleasant. I liked the beach and the sea in this place. Small shell rock and sand. They told me to keep an eye on things. The people are very different. After Anapa, the sea seemed colder, after a small storm it threw out algae, but this did not particularly bother. Tour prices seemed expensive. Therefore, we went to the Crimea for 1 day, we liked it, we did not regret it. The city is dirty, especially in the area where we lived, we went to the canteen, bought groceries in the grocery store. Fruit is much cheaper at the local market. The canteen prices are reasonable. There is a road along the entire city. Beach, fence, fence across the road and railway. Every day we walked on the promenade, where entertainment and souvenirs. The sights were not particularly impressive because they were not well maintained. I didn’t like the Aivazovsky Museum at all (not about the paintings, of course), like in the village, additional signs on the walls on scotch tape ... In general, we rested with pleasure for 3 days, and then I wanted to leave - it’s hard to go to the sea twice, explored the sights, walked up in the center .. If I lived nearby, it might be worth it to rest there for a couple of days, but we came from Siberia, and concluded - it’s not worth it. I won't go there again and won't recommend it to others. I don’t know if it was better there under Ukraine, maybe in 10 years they will put things in order there. Compared to my city, it’s a run-down town, there seem to be no janitors there at all ...

Advantages: No

Flaws: Prices, sea, beach

Was in that year, with his family, very sorry that they chose this particular city. There are no normal beaches, the sea is dirty, I had to go to the village of Beregovoe, it is located 10 kilometers from Feodosia. The city itself is ancient, there are museums, the Aivazovsky Museum is especially famous. Few shops, poor quality food, and expensive. This city is more suitable for excursions than for recreation. There is a beach, but it is very dirty. I do not recommend staying here. Very boring and gray city. There are excursions, but not, what young people want, but young people want active rest instead of walking around the gray city all day and looking at the gloomy faces of people. I won't come back here again. HORROR

Advantages: Lots of sea

Flaws: The special resort greed of the natives

Dirty and smelly city. Nuclear prices for housing and food. On the central embankment, smelly slurry flows into the sea (as there was no sewer pipe 50 years ago). We will never come here again. I do not advise anyone.

Flaws:

  • dirty water
  • locomotives at the embankment
  • narrow, cramped beach
  • noisy at the station

How long have I been preparing for this vacation! I would like to go abroad and at the same time, so that by train, that is, not far away. I decided that it would be Crimea. For a long time I asked my friends where it is better. And summing up the results of my questions and searches on the Internet, I came to the conclusion that I would go to Feodosia. First of all, cheap (housing and food), quiet small town and The main thing, the train is coming to the city itself (which means it is easy to get to the place). In general, I went. I also took my kids with me! I wanted to please! I don’t know how it happened that I didn’t find a single negative review on the Internet about holidays in Feodosia. Apparently, now mine will be the first!

We arrived ... And our negative impressions accumulated like a snowball!

Housing. Well, it's cheap. 300r per day. Housing - room, kitchen, toilet. Creepy shabby walls, and the unique smell of cat urine .. Well, they were looking for cheaper ones, it's their own fault. To the sea promised 5 minutes, it turned out 15.

The road to the sea is 15 minutes through mountains of garbage, unauthorized dumps, dog feces. It was generally difficult to assume that somewhere there is a treasured sea.

Sea. Beach. We've arrived. Shock! Sea 17 degrees (okay, nobody's fault). In the sea, mud, garbage, algae. Beach? He was absent. Sharp stones. Beer bottles, cigarette butts. We were reassured, they said that there are better beaches further. We honestly walked the entire coastal strip the next day - I have not seen anything more depressing, sad, dirty, unkempt.

If I were alone, I would think that all this seems to me. I have read rave reviews.

In general, the whole company we sadly walked around the city and tried to understand where it is "great", "super" ... We went around the whole city up and down - I have not seen a dirtier city. Miserable, abandoned. It was a pity, because there are many heroic pages in the history of the city.

Prices. The prices were astounding! Tomatoes, cucumbers are more expensive than at home! In hryvnia it seems like a penny, but in translation into our rubles everything is somewhat more expensive than in Russia.

People There is no such rudeness in stores even in Russia. It's called a "resort town"

Entertainment Just awful. Crowds of people on the embankment are crazy rides where students earn extra money. No safety equipment!

We planned to rest for 14 days ... on the 3rd day, the nerves were at the limit, we all quarreled, and on the 4th day we simply left the glorious city - the hero of Feodosia, which once belonged to Russia.

Almost 3 months have passed since our trip, and there is still a very unpleasant aftertaste in my soul. It's a pity the money thrown to the wind, it's a pity the ruined vacation (which is once a year), it's a pity the once beautiful cozy city of Feodosia.

Most of all, in Feodosia, I did not like the fact that the lights did not work there in the evening and at night. We could not take a walk after 21.00, because later we simply would not have reached the house. The streetlights outside the embankment did not work at all ... and even the asphalt was crooked and slanting. Of the pluses in Feodosia, you can eat inexpensively. There is no special entertainment there, only all sorts of lotteries on the embankment ... and shopping, of course. The beach is pebbly. nice beach in 15 minutes by minibus - in Ordzhonikidze. We went there. Some private traders have very poor housing ... moreover, for a very normal amount.

The hostess will lure you with discounts, there is nothing to do there! We came to rest with my family, we stayed in a mini hotel, looking cute and beautiful. And everything seemed to be fine, at first! In the morning we went to the beach to swim, and then it started, the small beach will be located nowhere for entertainment, at least a cafe, it’s not enough to even have a bite to eat, we went to Koktebel there and there are more people and entertainment in general life! We arrived and said we were leaving. The hostess (Armenian) at the beginning refused to give the money, and it was 30k in 2 weeks, then she raised a storm and started yelling, in the end we had to pay for 2 nights, well, God bless him, so she also gave 1400 R less and said that she didn’t have more, when we packed up it turned out that the girl had lost her wallet with all the money in general great vacation just 5 points. Hotel on Kalinina street.

Rest failed. It all started out as nothing. We reserved housing, a boathouse right on the shore of the Black Sea embankment. Not cheap, 8 thousand rubles. day. The path lay through the ferry crossing on a single ticket. There are a lot of expectations for transport. We have to wait for the ferry, then wait for the bus to Feodosia. Hours pass in anticipation. After the crossing, the buses are dead, condensate flows directly from the air conditioners onto the passengers, the seats fall apart. In general, the road from Krasnodar to Feodosia took almost 10 hours. Well, okay, we've arrived. To be honest, the owners of the boathouse met at the station, drove to the place. First impression, euphoria from the sea. I'll get ahead of myself, this is the only positive thing in the review - the sea .... Everything. There is nothing else there, in Feodosia. Since we arrived in the evening, of course we didn’t have time to go shopping, but I want to eat. In general, we went to the sea and looked for a place to eat. The time is eight in the evening, the Black Sea embankment ...., but there is nowhere to eat !!!

Some kind of beach eateries with dubious quality food, and it is practically non-existent. It's on the menu, but it's not available. The waiters, in other matters, we later realized that not only they, but in general all the locals around, look at you like a chicken that needs to be plucked without making any special efforts. But this is not the worst thing, after two days of our stay there, a collapse occurred, our entire coast was de-energized! At all! No electricity, no water, no air conditioning, NOTHING!!! Nothing for 8 tyr per day. My call to the owners was taken as a personal insult, I was asked to move out. But where? I can’t imagine such a situation, even in Egypt or Turkey. There they themselves will be transported to another hotel and they will apologize for the rest of the time. And they just sent it to hell. Although in the neighboring huts more efficient owners brought generators to the guests. And we carried buckets of water from the sea to the toilet. We spent two days without electricity, like in a tent at the price of a good hotel.

Prices are a different matter. What's on the market, what's in the stores horse prices. In general, the impression of Crimea is the most negative. Probably for a long time beat off the desire to rest there. First: delivery to the place. Until the message gets better, there's nothing to do there. Secondly: the infrastructure of the peninsula. Internal roads, transport, shops, catering, etc. and so on. And thirdly, the most important thing in my opinion: the attitude towards vacationers. Bye locals they will look at vacationers as if they were their wallet, for some strange reason, being in someone else's pocket, there will be no sense. It doesn’t matter to them whether you want to come to them again, it’s more important to just pluck you here and now. Conclusion: I had enough impressions for five years. You decide for yourself, but if you need my advice, then here it is: better go to Cyprus. Spend the same amount of money, the difference in impressions is striking

Advantages:

Sea, antiquity

Flaws:

Filthy appearance, a lot of tourists, landfills, broken houses, noise

Details

So, the city of Feodosia, at first glance it seems that the city is generally noisy, especially if we consider it as a resort city, then it is always noisy there in summer. The embankment is littered with tourists, some discos, attractions and other nonsense, which, instead of giving rest to the human body, on the contrary, irritates nervous system and as a result, a person gets tired of such a rest, and does not rest. This is stress for the body, and what kind of vacation is this when there is only noise, heat, crowds of people and alcohol around. The embankment has because of this a huge minus. Another disadvantage is the railway tracks right next to the city beach, and a kilometer of stalls with goods along the promenade, blocking the view of the sea. This is a huge disadvantage of the city.

It is very difficult to be objective when you love this city very much, when every summer you dream of coming to Feodosia, to a familiar beach, walking around your native streets and breathing fresh sea air. Yes, youth passed here and children grew up, even though this is not your city. Yes, close and dear people live here ... or do they exist? Alas, the answer is obvious, people in the city of Feodosia EXIST.
It is very pitiful for them and I really want to help, to reach out to the authorities, but hands fall at the moment when you realize that they themselves, the Theodosians, in fact, do not need anything. As if they are trying to solve their problems with someone else's hands: “And you complain, write, shout: they say everywhere complaining about their lives.”
I have to come to Feodosia every year, elderly relatives live here, and every year I get scared for the people who carelessly and thoughtlessly go to this small, dirty and smelly town, full of unsanitary indifference and aggression of the locals.
Why bring small children here, if in the event of an unforeseen health situation you will definitely not receive normal assistance. Food in catering is very tolerable, not safe. Milk sours before reaching the table, and bread stinks of chemistry a day later. Sausages are not tasty, cheeses are expensive, many fruits are not local, but they are presented as local and the price is fabulous, and cute old women sell homemade eggs for as much as 100 rubles.
There is dirt in the city, the river was cleaned on Plyazhnaya, there are no frogs, but hordes of swimming and rushing rats, how people are not afraid to walk there in the evenings, and even with children, I don’t know, it’s horror.
The beaches are free, but of course not without paid services. I am very outraged by the illogical policy of local entrepreneurs. Money is taken for a sun lounger in the shade, but when arrogant locals come and for free, they sit right up either on their chairs or on their rags next to you or almost on your head and calmly report that we are locals and we do what we want, they are not given comments, this is service. And at your own expense. It's hot, the sun loungers are empty, and the shade under the canopy is full, people are lying on top of each other. This is where people really do not know how and do not want to earn money. There are no lifeguards.
It became boring in the center, there is no abundance of roses, flowers, and those that are there are not watered, invariably crowds of already chipped dogs, they did not solve the problem with this. By the way, locals love animals more than people, many have crowds of stray dogs in the yard or near the house, they feed them and don’t think about the consequences with their heads.
Well, the most important thing about housing. I will not write about hotels and mini-hotels, I will write about private traders, since my friends got to 3 different places this year just to them. Naturally, one must understand that living with the owners or with the owners is much cheaper - so, probably, you could finish your story - EXACTLY THIS FACT THE HOUSES THEN flaunt in front of dissatisfied tourists. Be prepared that the first question they ask you is, do you have children? They can’t stand children, they don’t need them, then, if you are lucky and you are settled with children, they will shut you up and pull you with their comments and claims. Another fact that infuriates them is that your car is the number two enemy after your children. You will listen to something like, Feodosia is a small city, the one you arrived by car, there is not enough space, traffic jams, etc. The price is from 250 to 700 rubles, hence the service. Rarely, when new linen and clean pillows, from friends I saw a pillow in a child, I almost fell, she was a century old, no less. The floors are dirty, you need to, wash it yourself, here is a rag and a bucket, do you really think that the hostess will bother to do the cleaning, for such little money, she will sweep it back and forth and that's it. The toilet, bath and shower are your problems. Pray that there is always hot water, as well as a summer shower, you paid little money, and when 10 days later you give away these crumbs, God forbid that you at least smile.
Refrigerators, as well as pillows, age-old, dirty and smelly, not washed from year to year, mostly stand on the street, and if God forbid you cook yourself, get ready for the fact that very often you will throw your products in the trash, as they flow. Well, if it rains, then you will definitely swim in the yard with a sewer, since it is clogged for everyone, the storm drains are all clogged.
The city stinks of sewerage now everywhere, if earlier Gallery, Beach and the central beach sinned with this, now it is everywhere. Garbage containers are full everywhere, garbage everywhere, tourists will naturally say, but no local comrades, I visited you in February and March, the picture is the same.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS A TROUBLE. Especially the beloved ETALON 2 and 4, there is already a whole cycle on YouTube about these minibuses. “Mommy dear”, what’s going on, horror, well, I understand, they’ve come in large numbers ... ..
If you want to get from the center to Koktebel or Biostation by minibus, first go to church and pray for your health, because on this route there are “immortal kamikazes” that rush so that your whole life flies before your eyes.
Sightseeing trips are now a real luxury, the price is so crazy that you wonder, but do not expect that for your big money, believe me, you will get what you wanted or what you promised. YOU WILL BE DECEIVED IMMEDIATELY. And the first catch will be the gazelle that came for you, yes, yes, you correctly understood the g.a.z.el. well, or at best a Ford. Although, when you are going to pay for the tour and ask the distributor what bus will be, everyone has a standard answer, good and safe. Believe me, the guide and the tour will not be interesting, many places will not be shown to you, referring to the driver, who is only the first day on the flight today and did not know that it was necessary to stop in one place or another. And most importantly, you will be brought to one or another cafe or shop where they will make crazy discounts only for you)))))
And my favorite is taxi drivers. Oh, well done guys, where the lazy ones are utter and arrogant. They only ride no further than their nose, one or two blocks - EVERYTHING. For a lot of money. You should at least kneel in front of them, offer a huge amount, smile, and this crowd of kings will decide whether to go or not. Disgusting, horrible.
I know one thing, Theodosius is dying from a very terrible disease, human indifference. She will be lost in the crowd of her brothers or sons of the cities and, hardly large crowds of cars will call in, in my once beloved city. Drive by, I will tell all my friends, relatives and relatives. No rescue service, no evacuation service, no animal trapping service, no PPS, no police, NO OWNER, in this ancient and once beautiful city, nobody here. DRIVE BY…..

Advantages: Aivazovsky Gallery, a long embankment, reasonable prices for housing and food.

Flaws: There are no mountains like in Turkey.

After Kemer there is nothing to do there. so everyone says who has the opportunity to compare and I agree with them. Another thing is if you are not allowed to travel abroad and there is nowhere else to go except to domestic resorts. Here is Feodosia, the first nearest Crimean resort from Kerch. An ordinary seaside town, where there are some factories, factories and other industries, a lot of housing offers. Prices usually decrease if you go further away from the sea in search of housing. The vegetable market was very surprised by its cheapness, this is not Yalta for you, everything is there and very cheap. Cafes, embankment. museums, the Aivazovsky Gallery, all this is usually included in the list of holidays for the average tourist. But knowing that Feodosia is more than two thousand years old, I want to touch its history, and yet there is something to see there. Fortress walls, mounds and other places are not as grandiose as in Turkey, but they are somehow dearer than chtoli and this is the special relish of their visit.

A week of rest in the city itself is enough to swim, climb around, be sure to visit the Green Museum and the Aivazovsky Gallery. Unfortunately, the sea in August is filled with algae and, as the locals say, begins to bloom. But very warm and affectionate. We swam on the Golden Beach, public transport goes there, it’s somehow better than on city beaches, wider, fewer people, but if the wind rises, then this sand is in your eyes and ears and nose, then you immediately remember the pebble beaches of Sochi. If you don’t find fault with the fact that everything here still smells of the nineties, then it’s quite a tolerable vacation for tolerable money. It is definitely worth coming here, at least for show. By the way, nearby is the village of Primorsky where we were before, but I will write about it next time.

Advantages: Fast food restaurants, wine, promenade.

Flaws: Dirty sea, expensive nightclubs.

Arriving in Feodosia, we checked into an ordinary hotel and went to wander around the city. The first thing that greeted us was an abundance of cafes and beautiful people, but when we reached the embankment we were stunned, tons of mud along with water from the recent rain merged directly from the embankment into the sea, and we went to the nearest bar without swimming in the sea. This was the first reaction to the city of Feodosia.

But the next day everything was fine and we bought. Also of the merits I would like to note the Aivazovsky Gallery, takeaway pizzerias, an abundance of bars and nightclubs. Prices by the way in nightclubs are very unpleasant and too high.

I really liked that the picturesque railway (moreover, it is operating) runs right along the embankment itself, I liked the fast food chains and the abundance of self-service restaurants and delicious cuisine.

I didn’t like the fact that during our stay in the city, we couldn’t find rum to make mojito, we had to go around a lot of shops, but we never found it.

In general, Feodosia, apart from a couple of historical monuments, and the railway on the embankment, was not particularly remembered by anything, so to speak, the city at one time.

Advantages:

  • cheap
  • close to bus station and railway station

Flaws:

  • locomotives at the embankment
  • noisy at the station

Let's say you came to Feodosia for a couple of days. Well, or they decided to stop for a day on the way (for example, to Kerch and further to Russia). And you don't want to pay 500 hryvnias for an overnight stay... I really don't want to. You are satisfied with the level of the hostel (toilet-shower in the corridor, the sea is a couple of stops away, absolute silence is not needed). Then you are here, in the rest room at the Aivazovskaya station. By the way, if you came to Feodosia by bus, you don’t have to go anywhere. One has only to go around the church, which is opposite the bus station and cross the road - and you are there. I sleep at. 3-bed room (with sharing, which is not yet available). For a day I paid 37 hryvnias (about 150 rubles) + 15 UAH per shower. Room is spacious, beds are good. There is a closet and a washbasin in the room. Toilet and shower in the hallway, shower cubicle and boiler. And it's all for nothing. Unlike the services of one campsite in Koktebel. The only drawback is that the building is located on the railway platform. And my room still has windows on the way, and here sometimes steam locomotives pass by. Well, you can survive one or two nights. If the nerves are not loosened, I recommend. Decent solution for the price.

Advantages:

  • quite affordable price
  • lots of excursions

Flaws:

  • railroad next to the beach
  • narrow, cramped beach

When we once again decided where to go with my husband, we pointed a finger at the trains)) Feodosia fell out. We had a rest with a 4-year-old daughter. From the pros: quite budgetary, very pleasant central streets, the presence of monuments and museums in the city itself (A. excursion places- there are scheduled buses, the prices for which are several times lower than the excursion ones (this is how we went to the dolphinarium). Relatively close to Koktebel (you can drive for cognac or to the house of writers, whoever is closer)))

Among the shortcomings: mud, you turn a little to the side, eternal dogs, a port near the beach and a railway. Yes, and the beach itself is very narrow. When we were there, we arranged a “golden” shell beach outside the city.

Advantages:

Comfortable and affordable accommodation.

Flaws:

Not a very clean environment.

Details

In my opinion, you need to go on vacation to the Crimea first in order to enjoy its unique nature. On the southern coast of Crimea, in such cities as Yalta, Alushta, Alupka, Sudak, you can really see amazing plants, the pristine nature of the mountains and the coast with a crystal clear unique color sea water. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about Theodosius. But the coast of Feodosia lives its own nightlife, leaving in the evening you will find here a lot of cafes, various entertainment venues and entertainment attractions. Fans of a more active holiday should visit this resort and, if desired, you can go on an excursion to other cities south coast Crimea which are held here everywhere.

Positive reviews

Just arrived yesterday. Everything is fine! To the sea 30 seconds. The hostess is great! Prices on the waterfront as elsewhere. The child was very happy

We rested in August 2018 in Feodosia, the sea was warm, we lived in a hotel, Three pines" on Veresaeva street 12, the city is very calm, the people are hospitable and helpful. I liked everything.

Advantages: not a resort town

Flaws: bad city beach

Feodosia is the third city we visited after Sudak and Alushta.

It is not a resort at all, let's start with this.

Passes through Feodosia railway path, right almost along the beach)) That is, to get to the beach you need to overcome the railway path.

The embankment of Feodosia is large, tiled, the city beach is pebble and it is very narrow, swimming here and sunbathing is not very good. But if you live nearby, you can go here.

There are also several interesting objects on the waterfront. The monument to Aivazovsky and his gallery, a panel of scarlet sails, a beautiful fountain near the embankment, a gallery of temporary exhibitions a little further away.

Also here is interesting cafes. I used to like the Homemade Canteen cafe, now it’s not like that anymore, their dishes have deteriorated and prices have risen, everything has become too expensive)) But you can eat, especially since the canteen is located in the premises of a former cool restaurant.

If you go to the cottages ( former dachas various rich people from the Russian Empire.) you will find a cool shop with pasties on the crossroads.

Their boy or his dad makes them, pasties are so tasty that you can eat three pieces at once, the dough is amazing. I always eat them with cheese and they are the most delicious chebureks I have ever seen.

The Genoese fortress, once encircling the entire city, is now represented only by a couple of towers and ruins, you can also see them.

An interesting object is also the museum of money. So many coins, they walked for two hours, and then I looked at everything in a smart way.

Of the beaches, this golden beach (coastal) is the coolest. Wide beach, red sand, shower, toilet all done.

There are also many wild beaches with stones, for example, before reaching Ordzhonikidze, there are few people there, and there are even nudists.

I like Feodosia because there are no locals here who want to fuck something with you) For example, this is what happens in Simeiz)))

Here many people live here permanently and it pleases, I do not like resort towns. Here you just walk down the street, just enjoy life. Ordinary town. Plus the sea. What could be better?

Advantages: Quiet city for families with children, many attractions, places to go and things to see

Flaws: Cheap prices for products

I was still in Crimea in 2012, when it was part of Ukraine, so I think that now it has become even more civilized there. The city can be easily reached by bus from nearby cities. Feodosia itself is calm and great for families with children, the city has several beaches. There are no problems with housing, there are hotels, many residents renting rooms, at home, my girlfriend and I personally rented a room in a house near the bus station, the price is absolutely acceptable and it was convenient to get to the beach, during the day you can go on excursions to the significant places of Feodosia, this is easy to do thanks to the guides who are not far from the bus station, you can sign up for an excursion in advance, I recommend visiting Ai-Petri.

There are many cafes on the beach where you can sit during the day and dance to a special show program in the evening.

In the center there is an amusement park with a variety of attractions from small to large, we especially liked the skyscraper, where you rise slowly up and drop sharply down, it takes your breath away and you can see the whole city from a height at a glance.

A large number of cafes for evening pastime and museums for daytime self-development.

Advantages:

  • great beautiful beaches
  • exciting atmosphere
  • beautiful sea
  • a lot of different cafes
  • convenient location

I was in Feodosia last year, so the memories are still quite fresh) I arrived there in mid-July, in the high season, but it was not difficult to find a room. As soon as you get off the bus or train, a crowd of eager host tourists flies on you, however, like in all resort cities) Accommodation is not very expensive, but not cheap either, be prepared)) And in general, I advise you to take more money - the resort, after all, there are temptations everywhere) First of all, we went to the beach .The beach in Feodosia is free and clean, though crowded. An interesting feature Feodosia is a railway that runs literally along the embankment) But you quickly get used to it)

How to visit Feodosia and not go to the Aivazovsky Museum? That's right, no way))) The museum made a huge impression - it's gorgeous! The paintings are simply amazing with their beauty and scale. I was surprised by the talent of Aivazosky! He was really talented, that's right, with a capital letter)

And now the promised advice: there is a castle outside the city - go there!) The visit is free, since the castle has not been restored - but that's the whole point) The place is so atmospheric and beautiful - it literally breathes the spirit of history, the imagination draws pictures of the siege and battles) And this is with me - a girl who is not interested in history) And what will happen to those who are fond of it!)

Advantages:

  • very exciting

Flaws:

  • not European standard

When I began to earn money on my own for my existence (at the age of 15), then I accordingly had a great desire to relax after hard work on weekdays. visit Black Sea coast I somehow never wanted Russia, but the Black Sea coast of Ukraine has always drawn me, maybe deep roots make themselves felt.

Since there is a direct flight from Moscow to Feodosia, transfers in the first couple scared me a lot. That's why I went there on my first trip. The city is located on the very coast of the Black Sea. Fairly clean, although a little refurbishment of its buildings could do with it. True, in the season at sea there is absolutely nowhere to lie down and pamper your bones. Swimming and sunbathing had to go to the nearest village of Primorsky.

Night walks around the city are surprisingly romantic, the main thing is not to get lost. I advise everyone to visit the Golden Fleece restaurant, well, just very excellent cuisine and very affordable prices. During the day, in the midday heat (or in the twilight of the night) you can make boat trip on a boat, visit museums, of which there are a huge number and they are all located not far from the sea. You can describe this wonderful city for a long time, so I advise everyone to just visit it and relax, and better "savages" and economically and a lot of impressions.

Crimean Maldives)) Feodosia is a city with the most clean beaches covered with fine shell sand. Especially the "Golden Beach" of Feodosia - here the beach and the sea are so clean that you can see every pebble at the bottom!

"Golden Beach" evokes thoughts of the chic Maldivian beaches - so wide, sandy, comfortable! You can lie on the sand even without a blanket))

Rested with my family in Feodosia this summer. Nice resort town with everything you need. At first we settled in a cottage near the sea, but after living there for several days we realized that we did not have enough money to live there for another 2 weeks. We bought a local classifieds newspaper and started looking for other, more budget-friendly accommodation. We found a 2-room apartment near the city center at a reasonable price (1.5 times cheaper than the original version). Although it was far from the sea, it did not frighten us, since we were by car. So if you want to find inexpensive housing, then you should not look for it near the sea, drive deep into the city, there are a lot of good options.

On central beach usually very crowded, sometimes it was impossible to find a normal place. I decided to drive a little further east and look for more secluded beaches. We found a beautiful bay where there was no one, and we rested there for the last week. This is very a nice place, it will especially appeal to lovers of solitude and tranquility.

Another little tip - choose housing in houses where there are no cafes or restaurants on the ground floors. In the center of the city, almost all the first floors of the houses were occupied by various cafes that are open until the morning. I don’t even know how people sleep there at night, the music plays all the time. If you have small children, then you should look for accommodation away from all this resort fuss.

Advantages:

Only pluses, the sea and mountains.

Flaws:

There are no such!

Details

The city is just wonderful, I love it since childhood. Firstly, it is very convenient because you can get here both by bus (there is a bus station) and by train, even by plane (the airport is 120 km away), especially by car (there are no traffic jams in the city even in summer).

Secondly, the city will delight lovers of both sea recreation, there is how sea cruises, and diving, windsurfing, etc., and mountain lovers and hiking, even for lovers of extreme recreation there will be something to do (10 km away there is everything famous mountain Klementieva) where you can fly on a paraglider, hot-air balloon, airplane and even if you want to jump with a parachute. As for the entertainment night program, there is simply a wonderful choice for every taste, color and mood. So I recommend this beautiful, wonderful city to everyone. Have a good rest everyone.

Advantages:

Lots of entertainment, sea, sun, beach.

Flaws:

distance.

Good afternoon Today I want to tell you about our vacation in the city of Feodosia. This was my first trip to the sea. Everything was as usual, we bought tickets and on the appointed day, took our seats on the bus. We drove for about a day. Along the way, we made several stops, mostly at the planned places.

We went in August, it was terribly hot, the air conditioner did not work. We drove about 2000 thousand kilometers. We crossed five regions: Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk and Belgorod. All this time we had a very friendly and pleasant woman-guide.

By the way, we ended up at the border at night, we really wanted to sleep. Instead, you had to get off the bus, take your luggage and go through customs.

When we got to our stop, the son of the hotel owner arrived almost immediately after us, loaded our luggage and we drove off. There were four of us, my husband sat in the front seat, and I and two other tourists in the back. It was very crowded, it was good that it was not far to go.

We stayed at the Maria Hotel. Our room was on the third, top floor. On the first day, we were badly burned. The small window at the top of the room didn't get enough fresh air, and we used the air conditioner. On the second day of our vacation, we got sick and went to the pharmacy. True, we quickly recovered, probably it was an adaptation to the new climate. The room had a large bed, an armchair, a refrigerator, a TV and a table, as well as a shower and a toilet.

Since we lived on the top floor, and the kitchen was on the first floor, it was inconvenient to run back and forth with pots. The sea was 5 minutes walk. There was a lot of entertainment, but most of all we liked one cafe, and we often spent evenings there. It was also possible to visit the water park, excursions, sail on a steamboat.

By the way, we visited two excursions, it was very interesting. I will also tell about them in another review.

Until we meet again!!!

Feodosia is one of the most famous cities of Crimea. The city is ancient, founded in the 6th century BC. e. Greeks! Like this. It has richest history, is frequently mentioned in the literature. Feodosia gave us the great marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky. In general, the city is not simple.

But once Theodosius was very unlucky. In 1892, a railway, and a few years later the port. Since 100 years ago no one thought about what could come out of the city good resort, then the piece of iron was laid in the simplest way - along the embankment! Today, the most valuable, beautiful part of the city is cut by the railway. Here's what it looks like:

Horror. And it is not clear what to do with it. It is impossible to close the road - it goes to the port. Moving it to another location would be hellishly expensive. In such cases, sometimes the railway is buried underground, but this is also expensive and it is not clear whether it is technically possible to do this on the shore.

Feodosia has had to be cut by the railway for more than 100 years. Too bad it's a good city.

01. The station is now empty, trains almost do not run.

02. And earlier it was possible to come to Feodosia from Moscow.

03. The port is also in resort town looks strange.

12. For some reason, it was not closed completely, and now cars are parked on the sidewalks. In general, not good

14. The embankment is cut by the railway into two parts. This is the upper part, then a piece of iron goes behind the bushes, then another embankment.

15. Beautiful palaces and estates are located here, which are now captured by merchants.

1. On the territory of the sea in Feodosia, there are several options for beaches. In the center of the city there is a beach "pebbles". It has round pebbles polished by the sea on the beach. They are very hot in the summer and allow you to warm up very well lying down on them 🙂 . It is especially good to walk barefoot on them. But when entering the sea, after 2-3 meters, the bottom of the sea turns into sand.

2. In the area of the Plyazhnaya stop in Feodosia, there is a beach with small shell rock. This beach consists of shells not completely destroyed by the sea. When entering the sea, the bottom is smooth sandy. In some places at a distance of about 50 meters (depth of about 1.4 m) there is algae, which makes snorkeling a very exciting experience. There are even lovers who swim and collect crabs.

3. Opposite the Aivazovskaya station, there is also a beach that consists entirely of sand. Here is the beach itself and the bottom of the sea - only sand, sand, sand.

4. On the outskirts of Feodosia, towards the city of Kerch, the famous "golden beach" begins. There are a lot of equipped beaches (117 km, family beach, and so on.). You can get there by regular shuttle bus. The beaches themselves consist of golden sand, for which they are given the name "golden beach". The seabed is different on different beaches. There are beaches where large (and small) blocks and sand are found in the sea. There are places where there is only sand in the sea. There is a beach where only sand and vegetation are in the sea.

5. Basically, all vacationers perceive Feodosia as a resort town on the Black Sea. But just 42 km from Feodosia, there is the Sea of Azov, where excellent beaches stretch along the Arabat Spit. The nearest beach from Feodosia is located in the village of Kamenskoye, at the beginning of the Arabat Spit. From the Feodosia bus station to the village. There is a bus in Kamenskoye, only three flights a day. The first flight from Feodosia leaves at 05-45. Last flight from the village Kamenskoye leaves at 18-30. There is such a pattern - if the Black Sea has waves and the sea is cool, then the Sea of Azov will be calm and the sea is warm.

So if you come to rest on sea in Feodosia, then even trips to the beaches can be varied and exciting.

We organize trips to the "golden beach" for lovers of such places and to the Sea of Azov for groups wishing to plunge into the waters Sea of Azov.

We also have a guest house on the shore of the Sea of Azov. You can find information in the section

The city of Feodosia, whose sandy beaches today attract tourists from all over Russia, has always been very attractive place for life. Of course, the ancient people were not interested in sunny coasts, but primarily in an extremely advantageous position. Numerous trade routes ran past the city, and therefore the first settlements appeared here a very long time ago.

The official date of the founding of the city is the 6th century BC. e. Then the Milesian colonists chose this place to place a strategically important settlement. However, today archaeologists are discovering new evidence that Feodosia (Crimea), whose beaches are now filled with tourists, appeared in the 9th century BC. e. During the time of the Bosporus kingdom, about 8 thousand people lived in the city, it flourished and grew for 300 years. But the invasions of the Huns led the city to decline. For several centuries, the Alans lived on the site of Feodosia. Later, the territories fell under the control of Byzantium, and then under the influence of the Golden Horde. The Genoese bought a section of the Feodosian coast from the Tatars and founded a large trading city. To protect their territory, they build a powerful fortress, part of which has survived to this day. The Genoese made the city prosperous shopping mall population has grown tenfold. Here was the region's largest slave market. The wealth and power of the city invariably attracted invaders to it. First, it was conquered by the Ottomans, who transformed Feodosia in their own style. Later, Russian troops tried to capture the city for 2 centuries, and in 1771 the fortress was taken by Prince V. Dolgoruky. For two centuries the city quietly vegetated on the periphery of the empire. And only in the 19th century begins the rapid development of infrastructure, the revival of the economy and population growth. With the advent of Soviet power, Feodosia begins its new life- a resort is being founded here for the rest of the citizens of the country, an industrial complex is being created, and a large construction is underway. During World War II, the city was occupied by Nazi troops, the population suffered greatly from the invaders. In 1954, Feodosia was transferred to the Ukrainian USSR along with Crimea as a resort city. After the collapse of the USSR, the city went to Ukraine. In 2014, together with Crimea, it was returned to Russia.

The rich history of the city has left a large number of monuments that attract tourists. Sightseeing in Feodosia can take more than one day. It is worth starting your acquaintance with the city from the monument of the 14th century. Unfortunately, the walls, which withstood the onslaught of many attackers, were dismantled in the 19th century by civilians to build houses. But even from the remains one can judge the former power of the structure. Looking around the fortress, you can not miss the tower of Constantine, it is the symbol and talisman of the city. She was even depicted on the coat of arms of Feodosia. The Armenian Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel also belongs to the ancient monuments. It was built in the 15th century and is a prime example of the influence of Italian architecture on local architects. In this temple, the future artist Aivazovsky was baptized at birth, and his grave is also located here. The Armenian fountain, which is a monument of traditional national architecture, also dates back to the 15th century. Of the newer sights, it is worth seeing the Stamboli Palace of the early 20th century and the Church of St. Catherine of the late 19th century. "Golden Beach" Feodosia

One of the most famous beaches is located 5 km from the city center. This beach got its name because of the fine golden sand with which it is covered. The popularity of the place leads to the fact that in " high season» here you have to fight for a «place in the sun», so many vacationers come here. But on the 6-kilometer coast there is enough space for everyone, only in the center it can be a bit crowded. "Golden Beach" is well equipped, here you can take an umbrella, sunbed, mattress. "Scarlet Sails"

A 10-minute bus or car ride from the city center is one of the cleanest and most well-groomed beaches. The Scarlet Sails beach (Feodosia) is free to visit, but all services will require expenses. Shore cover - coarse-grained sand mixed with shell rock; to lie on it, you need a sunbed. Umbrellas are distributed throughout the territory with a good supply of distances, so there is no feeling of crowding and crowding. The seabed near the shore is covered with large stones, sometimes overgrown with algae, so you need to be careful when swimming. The lifeguard from the tower is vigilantly watching the vacationers, so there are almost no accidents here. The entrance to the water is long and gentle, so the sea warms up well near the shore and you can have a great time on the beach even with small children. For kids there is a pool with an inflatable slide. The territory is equipped with changing cabins, fountains with drinking water, several cafes and equipment rental.

"Pearl Beach"

The beaches of Feodosia, reviews of which are usually more than positive, began to take shape in special recreation areas back in Soviet times. The place, previously called the "Second City Beach", today received a beautiful name - "Pearl". The beach is located within the city, its length is a little less than a kilometer, its width is about 50 meters. The place got its name for the coastal coating - fine golden-pearl sand. Vacationers are offered a full range of paid services, although the use of the beach and changing rooms is free. Usually by 10 a.m. the beach is full of people, so it's worth arriving early to choose a good place. Zhemchuzhny provides a variety of entertainment and catering services, and offers a wide range of water activities.

"Bounty"

The second part of "City Beach No. 2" was called "Bounty", although, of course, this is an exaggeration. You should not expect paradise solitude and a landscape with palm trees here. But excellent fine sand, a very wide coastline, a gentle slope into the water, in general, everything that the beaches of Feodosia can be proud of, reviews of which cause envy of vacationers, is present here. "Bounty" is good because there is not only a comfortable coast, but also a pleasant to the touch bottom of the sea, without large stones and algae. The cleanliness and long shallow water make this beach a great place to relax with children. But the rest of the vacationers here are provided with a full range of services. At the water entertainment bureau, you can book a boat trip, scooter or banana ride. For those who want to combine business with pleasure, there are “massage tents” on the beach, designed in the form of Caribbean dwellings, which is reminiscent of Bounty Island.

"Pebbles"

Feodosia, whose city beach was created back in the 19th century, is often associated with pebbly shores. It is this coverage that has the main beach of the city, nicknamed "Pebbles". It stretches for 1 km and has a width of 30-40 m. The entrance to the water here is long and smooth, the beach has everything you need to relax. The convenient location within the city leads to the fact that there are a lot of people here on summer days, solitary relaxation can not be found here. But the beach has excellent infrastructure in the form of cafes, clubs, an amusement park. People rest here until late at night, watching the sunset at the tables of coastal restaurants.

"First City"

Describing the best beaches of Feodosia, one cannot ignore the "First City", or "Children's" beach. It is covered with a mixture of shell rock and sand, it can be uncomfortable to walk on such a coating barefoot, especially if you are not used to it, so you should get slippers. The beach has a very long shallow water - about 50 m. Therefore, here from early spring you can swim with children. The beach is well equipped, but the entrance is paid. An excellent entertainment complex has been erected here, which allows you to keep children busy for a long time. For everyone, catering services, rental of various equipment are provided, in the evenings there is a disco and a restaurant on the beach.

"Wild beach"

For lovers of secluded relaxation, Feodosia is perfect. On the outskirts of the city, behind the Genoese fortress, there is a place called Chumka, where you can sunbathe almost alone. The rocky shore with a narrow pebble shoal looks very colorful, although lovers of a comfortable stay are unlikely to like it. Those who want to admire the ascetic nature of the real Crimea come here. There is no question of sunbeds and changing rooms, otherwise it would no longer be a "wild" beach. But there are very few people, and the water is very clean, since it is not easy to get here.

Also, "wild" beaches can be found near the village of Ordzhonikidze. Although it is easier to get here than to Chumka, there are still few people here, you can find a completely secluded place.

  • Feodosia is, as it were, isolated from the rest Crimean resorts, there is no fuss and a huge number of tourists. This is a very cozy city, characterized by unsurpassed beaches.

In total, along the coastline of Feodosia, there are more than 10 beaches with a width of 35 to 50 m. Their feature is that they were created not only by nature itself - pebbles were brought here, thanks to which the bottom of the sea became flatter, and the coastline itself was smoother. Further behind them, up to the village of Primorsky, a 15-kilometer line of magnificent sandy beaches, which, due to the yellowish tint of the sand, received the name "Golden Beach".

Disco-117 beach is considered one of the most comfortable. It is a full-fledged entertainment complex under open sky with a cafe, a disco bar, a sports ground equipped with everything necessary for playing volleyball, ping-pong, billiards, etc., a huge number of all kinds of water attractions. And at night, open-air discos are held here. Disco-117 is adjacent to the "Golden Beach", you can get here by shuttle bus № 4.

The central city beach is "Pebbles", they got their name due to an artificial embankment of small pebbles polished by the sea. All conditions for a comfortable stay are created here - sun loungers and umbrellas are rented, there are showers and toilets, all kinds of attractions and small shops selling Crimean wines, fruits, sweets and fish.

Entrance to this beach is free, but you will need to pay for each service.

Immediately after the "Pebbles" follows the first urban or so-called " Children's beach". Sand prevails on it, but the bottom is flatter, and shallow water stretches for about 50 m into the sea, so here it warms up very quickly and practically does not storm, you can swim on this beach already in mid-May. Apart from natural conditions comfortable and interesting children's recreation contribute to the numerous water attractions.

Of the city beaches, the second city beach or "Pearl" is considered the widest with a full range of paid services and absolutely free entry. And right behind it is a beach with the tempting name "Bounty", in addition to a wide coastline and comfort, it boasts a beautiful view of Crimean mountains, which originate immediately beyond the Feodosia Gulf.

There are also so-called departmental beaches and beaches of various boarding houses in Feodosia, they are not crowded, but the entrance to them is limited.

    • Where to stay: in the old and bonton Koktebel, cozy Beregovoe or calm Ordzhonikidze with affordable prices. Primorsky is a very calm village, but not without all the benefits of civilization. Feodosia attracts not only great beaches but also impressive sights. In addition, you can search among other hotels in the Crimea - in Yalta, Sudak or Alushta. Finally, the sunny
