Dry superjet 100 where. Russian aviation

Sukhoi Superjet 100 is the first airliner for passenger traffic, developed in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Designed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, a Russian organization that develops, markets and maintains civil aircraft. There are several modifications of this aircraft, which are in operation with a number of Russian and foreign airlines.

In this article, we will look at not only specifications this liner, but also the layout of the cabin and the best places for the Sukhoi Superjet 100. Special attention we will pay attention to the reliability and safety indicators of this aircraft, as well as the feedback from passengers.

The aerodynamic parameters of the SSZh-100 were calculated in the laboratory conditions of TsAGI (Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Zhukovsky). The shape of the fuselage and other design details were calculated using computer simulation - a special program determined the behavior of aircraft elements under conditions of increased loads.

The main task of the designers was to create a machine that is convenient for users - passengers and flight crews. This was reflected in the interior of the cabin and the arrangement of the cabin. The creators did not forget about the requirements of the airlines, taking care of the economy, flight capabilities and ease of use.

The most important plus of the airliner is the ability to fly in automatic mode with a program of economical fuel consumption.

The increased safety of the liner is due to the algorithm of protection against accidental piloting errors built into the control system. For the first time in the Russian aircraft industry, an aircraft touch warning system was installed on an aircraft runway. This option allows you to get rid of massive shock absorbers and increase the payload.

The modular design of equipment used in the aircraft made it possible to reduce the number of onboard units by 15%. The designers of the airliner abandoned the use of the traditional steering wheel to control the machine and for the first time in Russian practice used a joystick-type handle.

Many experts call the SSJ-100 aircraft "the hope of the Russian aviation industry." There is every reason for this.

Among the advantages of the liner:

  • elevated level comfort;
  • usage modern technologies during project development and production;
  • economical fuel consumption;
  • environmental friendliness;
  • variety of models.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company comprehensively supports its products - eliminates identified shortcomings, provides detailed technical documentation, and conducts training for flight personnel.

The SSJ aircraft family includes the following models:

  1. Sukhoi Superjet 100- the first model from the Superjet series, the basic version.
  2. SSJ100LR- modification with increased flight range and increased takeoff weight.
  3. Sukhoi Business Jet And 100LR VIP- corporate versions for the transportation of important people. They have a high level of comfort.

The corporation plans to develop a new model with an extended fuselage, which will increase the number of passengers up to 125 people.

quality claims

Many buyers and operators are of the opinion that the average flight time is low. So, Aeroflot, having the largest fleet of SSJ 100s, reports that the liners fly only 3.3 hours a day against 5-6 hours for competing models.

At the beginning of 2019, the Irish CityJet, the only one who used the Superjet in Europe, refused to operate the SSJ 100.

The Mexican InterJet was forced to dismantle several aircraft for parts so that at least some of them remained in working condition.

The SaM146 engines of the French company Powerjet have a built-in defect. Premature destruction of the combustion chamber. Instead of 7500 - 8000 hours of operation, they provide 1000 - 2000 hours before overhaul.

The problem with the engine forces the operators to keep a pool of replacement engines or dismantle their other SSJ 100 liners for spare parts. SaM146 engines are installed only on the Sukhoi liner. The French simply modified the combustion chamber so that it wears out more slowly.

On the other hand, Russia plans to release a new modification of the liner - SSJ-SV with a domestically produced engine.

Aeroflot Superjet 100 cabin layout

The passenger compartment is located in the middle part of the fuselage between the cockpit and tail compartments. It has tightness, provides support for optimal temperature, humidity and pressure.

Options:

  • width - 3.2 m;
  • height - 2.1 m;
  • the width of the passenger seats is 46.5 cm.

Doors to the cabin are located at the front and rear of the aircraft.

These aircraft have two types of interior configuration - AA and AF. They are similar, but they have one difference. In both first three rows occupies business class. The rest 17 intended for . located in the nose and tail of the aircraft. From the photo of the cabin of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, you can form your opinion about its features.

In the first configuration option, the cabin accommodates 98 seats with a distance between them of 81.2 cm. The aisle width is 51 cm. In a more compact version, part of the situation is dismantled, the distance between the seats is reduced, and the number of passengers increases to 108 people.

Armchairs are installed in 19 rows of 5 in each. Left - double chairs, right - triple. Each seat is equipped with individual lighting and ventilation system. Above the seats there are spacious niches for hand luggage.

Calm in the cabin LED lightening. The windows are oval in shape and the largest in size among aircraft of the same class. The salon has a wardrobe for outerwear. Each passenger has access to media materials - watch movies, listen to music during the flight.

First row- less convenient, as it is limited in front by a partition. Behind her are emergency exits and toilet. This means you won't have much leg room. Other two rows of business- quite comfortable.

Economy first row— the most comfortable in this class. Legs can be freely extended without fear that they will rest against neighboring chairs. You can even stand in this space without disturbing anyone.

Scheme of salons Superjet 100-95.

Rows - 7 to 19- quite standard and do not have any special characteristics.

The last one is on the 20th row there is a difference depending on the configuration of the cabin. If this is AA, then immediately behind it are toilets and a utility room. Therefore, a queue will constantly accumulate near these places. Unpleasant odors and extraneous sounds will constantly disturb you during the flight.

In AF configuration toilets are far from the seats, which makes this row quite standard for travel.

Advice. If you don't know exactly which aircraft you will be flying on, choose row 20 only if there are no other options.

Plane crash involving Sukhoi Superjet 100

The most recent crash involving the SSJ-100 occurred May 5, 2019. The plane crashed during a hard landing at Sheremetyevo. At the time of writing, 41 deaths are known.

SU1492 ("Aeroflot") Moscow - Murmansk

The facts of the incident are: a fire broke out on an Aeroflot airliner that made an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo, which could not be eliminated immediately. The aircraft was flying SU1492 Moscow — Murmansk. A few minutes after takeoff, it began to decline, and during landing, according to eyewitnesses, it hit the ground twice hard, after which it caught fire. Flames quickly engulfed the rear of the aircraft. There were 73 people and 5 crew members on board. Passengers had to leave the board on two inflatable ladders.

The final cause of what happened at the time of writing was not revealed. : vessel malfunction, pilot or dispatcher errors, adverse weather conditions.

The experts of the Interstate Aviation Committee pointed out several mistakes of the pilots: they decided to fly through a thunderstorm front, refused to run out of fuel before an emergency landing, and were unable to land in manual mode, which indicates their poor pilot training.

The pilots tried to press the aircraft's nose to the ground instead of stabilizing it in the landing position. This caused the aircraft to bounce off the runway, exacerbating the situation. The passengers sitting in the tail section were seriously injured during the “jumps” of the liner, so they could not get out of the cabin on their own and died.

The crew made an emergency landing exceeding the ground speed by 30 kilometers per hour. When approaching the runway, “the crew began to increase speed for an unknown reason,” which caused the plane to land closer to the middle of the runway. In addition, at the time of the passage of the liner storm front, presumably, "a power surge occurred in the generator, followed by a series of aircraft system failures."

Important! After the completion of the official investigation, the information in the section will be updated.

Indonesia 2012

Another one catastrophe happened in 2012 in Indonesia. Liner "Superjet" crashed into a mountain during a technical flight. 45 people died, the cause of the disaster was recognized as the error of pilots and dispatchers.

minor situations

Other recent incidents involving Superjet:

  • in March 2019, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft made an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo (the reason was a cracked windshield);
  • in February 2019, when landing at Domodedovo, the aircraft hit a lamppost with its wing;
  • the plane making the Moscow-Khanty-Mansiysk flight returned to Sheremetyevo for technical reasons;
  • in October 2018 in Yakutia, the plane skidded off the runway;
  • in June 2018, the airliner on the Irkutsk-Petersburg flight made an emergency landing in Barnaul (the reason was a false alarm).

Experts believe that the main reason for frequent accidents is the poor quality of components that fail earlier than the manufacturer's stated deadline. Especially a lot of complaints about the premature failure of the engine.

Thanks only to broad international cooperation, it was possible to create an aircraft "Dry Superjet 100". This airliner for regional airlines combines high flight performance and excellent aerodynamics combined with excellent passenger comfort.

The history of the creation of the aircraft

Only the close partnership of the Sukhoi Aircraft State Company with the Italian company Alenia Aeronautica and Snecma on risk sharing with the participation of a consultant represented by the flagship of the aircraft industry, Boeing Commercial Aircraft, made it possible to organize the project Sukhoi Superjet 100. The project involves 30 companies supplying various systems and accessories.

February 17, 2006 began assembling a new Superjet 100, which was transported to TsAGI in 2007 and began static tests. May 19, 2008 Superjet 100 took off from the ground and flew in a circle, and in December of the same year, the second flight model with a crew of test pilots L. Chikunov and N. Pushenko spent more than two hours in the air at an altitude of 6 thousand meters.

The third flight copy with the number 95003 was first presented in June 2009 at the international air show in France. On July 25 of the same year, the fourth prototype of the Superjet 100 was ready to continue flight tests. This aircraft with b / n 95004 was equipped with standard systems and a ready-made cabin for passengers.

In September 2010, the entire program of static tests was fully completed Sukhoi Superjet 100, strength characteristics were confirmed and a certificate was issued from the aviation register of the IAC.

The first production aircraft with the number 95007 was given the name "Yuri Gagarin" and became the property of an aviation company from Armenia. To fill the market, 1040 aircraft will be required until 2027, and experts predict that the demand for aircraft of this level will reach 6100 aircraft by that time.

Description of the aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100

The machine is made according to the normal layout - it is an aircraft with a low-wing constant sweep, with two new engines and the traditional arrangement of the fin and stabilizer. On the wing with a supercritical profile, single-slotted flaps are installed. It is supposed to equip the wing with aerodynamic wingtips on new machines and equip them with earlier releases of aircraft.

The wing in the root and bow parts and its mechanization are made of composite materials. The placement on the machine of algorithmic protection against touching the rear part of the runway fuselage made it possible to abandon the use of mechanical shock absorbers.

PowerJet has taken into account the requirements of the family SSJ 100 for power plants and equipped the car with new high-performance SaM146 engines.

In the cockpit, five displays were placed on the front panel, displaying flight and engine parameters, navigation and meteorological conditions. The usual steering wheel in the cockpit was removed, instead of it the so-called “sidestick” was placed on the side - the side control knob.

SSJ 100 cab

The location of the instrument panel, aircraft and engine control is designed so that in case of unforeseen circumstances, one crew member could continue the flight and land.

The remote control system on the new machine ensured flight safety at all stages. This possibility is guaranteed by the high reliability of the aircraft systems and the original equipment for protection against errors associated with the human factor.

The layout aerodynamics of the aircraft allows you to fly at cruising speeds comparable to the speeds on long-haul aircraft in the optimum fuel consumption mode, which gives a significant advantage over competitors.

SSJ100 meets modern requirements for ensuring the environmental cleanliness of the project and has low levels of emissions and noise.

Whole family SSJ 100 has a high unification of all parts and assemblies of the aircraft. The wing for all modifications remains unchanged with a constant geometry, there are more seats for passengers due to inserts in the central part of the hull. Such unification reduces the cost of repair and maintenance of the entire fleet of vehicles of the family Sukhoi Superjet 100.

Sukhoi Superjet 100-95B (abbr. SSJ 100) is a modern Russian short-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft with the participation of a number of foreign partners. Assembled at the Yu. A. Gagarin Aviation Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100-95V is the first newest Russian passenger aircraft that has been tested for compliance with European noise level requirements and received an international EASA certificate. This means that the aircraft can be used by all European and global airlines in which EASA principles are accepted as a standard.

It is the main operator of this airliner. To date, about 200 aircraft have been produced (including prototypes), of which 50 aircraft are used by Aeroflot.

The cabin accommodates two classes of passenger service - business and economy. The total number of seats on board is 87, of which 12 are business class and 75 are for economy class passengers. Let's take a closer look at the layout of the aircraft cabin and designate both the best and worst places in the cabin Sukhoi Superjet 100-95V.

Detailed scheme Superjet 100 Aeroflot

In the front row business class are equipped with mounts for baby cradles. Also, there will be a partition right in front of you. Some passengers are not very comfortable looking at the wall for the entire flight. However, there is also a pleasant moment - no one will throw back the back of his chair on you. Despite the fact that the legroom and the distance between the seats in the business class is quite comfortable, this is also an essential point.

Business class photos

First economy class seats 6 row are the most comfortable in their class. The chairs are arranged in such a way that you will have a lot of free space in front of you. You can comfortably stretch your legs, and also, if you want, calmly get up from your seat without disturbing anyone. These are the best economy class seats, especially on long-haul flights. But, for comfort during the flight you will have to pay extra separately. Aeroflot's Space+ service is paid, and the price depends on the duration of the flight and the type of aircraft.

Last, 20 row. Immediately behind the last row of the aircraft are toilets and utility rooms. The seats in this row do not recline, or have a significant limitation in this. Also, one of the passengers always walks near the toilets, and sometimes even a queue forms. In places C and D, you can be hit with elbows. Very busy and uncomfortable place.

Photos of economy class

The new short haul aircraft model Sukhoi Superjet 100 was manufactured in Russian Federation in the Sukhoi company with the support of foreign companies. This machine is designed specifically for the transport of passengers. For this, two modifications were created, which differ in the number of seats for passengers. One device is capable of carrying 75 passengers, and the second - 95. In addition, there are models that are designed for longer flights.

The design of the aircraft for short and medium flight distances was started in 2000, during the development it was called a regional aircraft for Russia.

A brief chronology of the creation of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft

In the spring of 2003, at the aircraft design competition, the project under the working name RRJ (No. 97 002) won. In 2006, we started assembling a prototype of this device. The machine was assembled at KnAAPO, and a year later this project was delivered to the city of Zhukovsky for further testing at the TsAGI bureau. The product was transported to this city using the Ruslan aircraft.

The first prototype of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft was presented in September 2007. For the first time, this aircraft model took off from the runway a year after the presentation, namely in May 2008. But before the first flight, the designers spent a lot of time checking all the main systems of the machine.

By the end of 2008, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft completed factory tests, and the process of state certification began with the participation of an international commission. Resource studies of the aircraft took place at the Siberian Research Institute. The second machine was completely ready by December 2008, during testing this machine showed excellent flight characteristics.

This device was presented to the general public at the air show in the city of Le Bourget in the summer of 2009. The aircraft model Sukhoi Superjet 100, fully equipped with all systems and with a fully equipped passenger compartment, made its first flight only in the summer of 2009.

Aircraft features

The creation of this machine took place in close partnership with foreign aviation companies. The world-famous Boeing Corporation acted as the main consultant for the creation of the Superjet. In the manufacture of this machine, more than 30 companies were involved, which supplied components for the aircraft.

The aircraft is equipped with a high-quality remote control system provided by Liebherr Aerospase. The onboard equipment of the machine was provided by the Thales Corporation. Even all components of the passenger compartment were designed and provided by Aerospase. In addition to all this, such systems as the chassis, hydraulic system, fuel system, brakes, power supply were also provided by foreign companies. All this made it possible to equip the new aircraft with the most modern digital control systems, which helped to achieve high results.

The aircraft has classical scheme low-wing design, which is equipped with two new generation turbojet engines. The plumage of the machine has a swept shape with a single-keel design scheme. The power plant is represented by two SaM146 engines, which are attached to the wing pylons of the aircraft. The remote control system that this aircraft is equipped with can automatically control the vessel. In addition, there is the possibility of remote release of the chassis and control of the brake system. The control system is so high-quality and safe that it made it possible to completely remove the mechanical control of the apparatus. With this system, you can control the stabilizers.

For the first time, an aircraft designed by the Sukhoi design bureau is equipped with a system that protects the aircraft from touching the runway with its tail during landing or takeoff, even in the event of a pilot error. The on-board system performs a complete analysis of all aircraft systems and notifies pilots of even the slightest malfunctions.

As for avionics, there were also innovations and innovations. It is equipped with a triple high-quality UVC communication system. It protects the car from collisions in the air with other aircraft. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft is equipped with a system that allows landing with minimal pilot participation and belongs to ICAO category IIIA. As for the uniqueness between other aircraft of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, it should be noted that the aircraft of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 model is 95% unique and has almost nothing in common with previous OKB models.

At the beginning of 2015, 88 Sukhoi Superjet type aircraft were manufactured. Among them were 8 prototypes, and 56 of them were handed over to customers.

As for commercial operation, it began in 2011 with the first flight from Yerevan to Moscow. This flight was carried out by an Armenian company that purchased this airliner. It is also used by Aeroflot, which purchased 10 aircraft. But these machines are supplied at a discount, since Aeroflot allegedly shares the risk of operation with manufacturers. In addition, this Sukhoi Design Bureau machine is used in Yakutia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico and other regions of the world.

In addition to numerous advantages, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 also has disadvantages. The standard machine is designed for a takeoff weight of 49.5 tons. But most sales are focused on a model in which 95 seats, and at the same time it has a mass of 45.9 tons at takeoff. This model had to be improved and the structure of the machine had to be strengthened, which led to an increase in weight, and as a result, to high fuel consumption during flight.

Despite everything, this aircraft is truly a breakthrough in the domestic aircraft industry and will be able to bring our aviation industry to world markets.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100-95 (abbreviated certification name for the RRJ aircraft family - SSJ 100, ICAO designation: SU95) is a short-haul Russian passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company together with a number of foreign companies.

05/28/2014 On this moment 5 pre-production, 38 production aircraft were built, and one airframe for static tests and one more for life.

Exploitation

04/19/2011 Armavia, an Armenian airline experiencing financial difficulties, purchased the first production Sukhoi Superjet 100 (tail number EK-95015), and two days later performed its first flight from Yerevan to Moscow. This date was the beginning of the commercial use of aircraft of this type. The flight arrived at Terminal C of Sheremetyevo Airport at 4:45 Moscow time. More than 90 passengers were on board the aircraft.

In August 2012, Armavia announced the abandonment of the previously acquired Superjet aircraft.
