Narcia resort side all inclusive 5 stars. Narcia Resort Side – Reviews

Excellent hotel.
We arrived at the hotel around 13:30. They settled in right away. The first impression is that they don't speak Russian there. The porter showed us how and what works. They gave him a dollar for his efforts, but he didn't ask for anything. The room is more than arranged - until the entrance to the bathroom. It turned out that the room they gave us for people with handicapped(the shower, when turned on, flows onto the toilet bowl and toilet paper, there are no fences - there is just a puddle of water on the floor; the sink is at the level of the knees). Went to reception and asked if anyone spoke English. A plump man (I don’t remember his name, but he’s the only one there) said that there were no rooms and that we paid Standart room- got a standard one. To all the arguments, he pretended that he did not understand (at the same time, they later found out that he also speaks Russian and understands everything). In the evening, the shift at the reception changed, a nice girl with glasses asked us to come the next day before lunch and they would change everything. As a result, the number was changed for us, but with the appearance that we had done something bad (there was the same plump man who subsequently did not even greet us). Accordingly, neither an apology nor any compliments from the hotel followed - it was the attitude towards the guests of one particular person that was outraged. It was the only unpleasant situation.
Room: we liked both the first and second rooms. The room itself is quite spacious, the bed is wide, the mattresses are comfortable. There is a small clothes dryer on the balcony (when there was not enough space, they dried it on chairs additionally). In the mini-bar upon arrival, cola and fanta, mineral water with gas and 2 bottles of mineral water without gas. The mineral water was replenished every day!
Cleaning: There was no dirt, all hair and sand were swept. There were enough towels, toilet paper replenished in a timely manner. Once they made swans (no tip). The quality of cleaning from the presence of a tip did not change (sometimes they left a dollar - they did not notice the difference). The maids are friendly - when they met them in the corridor they always smiled and said "Hello".
Food: There is a lot of food and it is varied. I didn’t eat a lot of things, but I never remained hungry, but more often I overate. Everything is very tasty and fresh. Lots of different sweets. There is always delicious scrambled eggs for breakfast. The dishes were always clean, there were enough spoons and forks. Went for breakfast at 8 o'clock - few people. There aren't too many people at lunch either. The only thing is that we went to dinner an hour after the start (because at the beginning of dinner the queues are huge). Food is periodically added, so there is never a lack of choice. In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can have a snack during the day on the beach, by the water park, by the pool, in a pastry shop. The water park has delicious burgers and fries. The bakery has amazing ice cream.
Alcohol and drinks: You can drink and drink everywhere and almost 24 hours a day. Drank in osnoanom beer - quite tasty. Drinking cocktails in the lobby bar in the evening. Bartenders do not spare alcohol, so sometimes they asked to pour less strong alcohol. All requests are fulfilled.
Staff: Absolutely all the staff that we met during the holiday smiling, helpful and friendly (with the exception of one character described at the beginning). About the attitude towards Russians and Germans: yes, they bring drinks to the Germans and hang around them in every possible way. But the Germans give good tips - I myself have watched this picture more than once. Yes, Germans are almost always poured into glass, and Russians are often poured into plastic. Here it is rather the fault of the Russians themselves. In the lobby bar everyone is poured into a glass, everyone smiles the same regardless of the tip (evening shifts, I didn’t drink in the morning, I can’t say about the attitude), but we are very happy with tips, so don’t be greedy))) On the beach, drinks were poured into plastic, didn't bother us at all. A couple of times the pool was poured into the glass. At the same time, to throw glasses or pour reluctantly was never noticed. Everyone is always smiling. Many speak Russian.
Beach: It is better to go to the beach in the morning. After 10 hours, it is very difficult to find nearby sunbeds. The sea is clean if there are no waves. Once bathed in strong waves - came out with a full bathing suit of sand algae and other things. But it was worth it))). Broken sunbeds were not observed, dirty too. There is little space between the sun loungers, but it is comfortable to lie - no one breathes down the back of the head. Once we were on the beach in the evening - there is practically no lighting, but it is insanely beautiful. Walk to the beach 5 minutes. You can use the free shuttle. The driver is extremely positive and always friendly.
Excursions: We took Hamam, Safari + Green Canyon, Sapadere Canyon from Eldorado (everything was clear, on time and met expectations) and The Land of Legends from the Tui guide (they made a discount - it turned out cheaper than Eldorado + they let us in with our own water ). From all the excursions left a lot of impressions. Additionally, we independently went to Side in the Antique City.
Other: Gifts and souvenirs bought in the shop at the hotel. Prices are the same as on the way to the beach, but the hotel sometimes takes off a couple of dollars. Not far from the hotel there is a store A-101, where you can buy Turkish delight and some sweets very cheaply.
Pools: The hotel has a lot of them. Almost all the people are at the main pool. Near the confectionery there is a heated swimming pool, where they mostly swim with children, but we also went in cool weather. The pool at the Annexes and at the water park is almost always free. The water park is for children, adults ride, but the slides are straight slow. More interesting slides at the main pool.
There is animation in the hotel, but we, like old farts, went to bed at 9-10 pm, so I can’t say anything about it)
The hotel has a small gym. There is everything you need for those who like to keep themselves in shape.
About the smoking of the Germans. They really smoke everywhere and a lot, but I, as a non-smoker, did not feel discomfort or any strong smell (although in Russia I can’t stand next to smokers)
In general, the holiday was a success, the hotel is very good, the staff is great!
When checking out, the same sweet girl with glasses asked if we had a good rest and if everything was in order. Insanely nice. And what all the same different receptionists are!

The hotel is located 5 km from the center of Side and 8 km from Manavgat. Antalya Airport is 65 km from the hotel. Near standing hotels: Side Mare, Side Allegria, Family Prime.

Gathered to go spontaneously, because no early bookings there wasn’t, they chose according to reviews from what they could find on the budget, when the season had already begun. 1. Tour operator, flight and transfer.… More ▾ We decided to go spontaneously, because there were no early bookings, we chose according to reviews from what we could find on the budget when the season had already begun.
1. Tour operator, flight and transfer. We went through the TUI, were satisfied. Two days before the flight, the departure time was postponed several times, the delay was several hours (but these are more questions for the air carrier). The host guide was not very good - he was silent all the way, he didn't even try to tell anything. Hotel guide liked it. The meeting was quick, he did not impose excursions, gave the necessary information about the hotel, answered questions. There were only positive impressions from meeting with him.
2. Checked into the hotel immediately upon arrival (we arrived after 14), put on bracelets. Said about the bus to the beach and beach towels. They gave information about the hotel in Russian, showed me to the room and delivered the luggage.
3. Number. 5 stars does not pull well in any way. A bunch of interior errors that need repair. Cleanliness is top notch too. I decided not to spoil my mood because of these little things, after all, we went to bathe the children in the sea, and not for the sake of chic-brilliance of the rooms. We lived on the second floor of the main building, the view from the room is unattractive: on the roof of the basement and the hostel for staff. But this, as it turned out later, had its advantages: firstly, in the evenings, the animation of the neighboring hotel is visible, the rest of the time the noise of our hotel does not interfere. Secondly, the room was located above the reception, and therefore the Internet was even in the room, although in most of the hotel, remote from the reception, it was very weak. The room had 2 double beds and 2 single beds for children. There was a liter in the fridge when I checked in. mineral water, fanta and cola - this is for the entire stay. For the sake of truth, they did not manage to drink them, because there were always enough drinks in bars and restaurants. Also bottles of drinking water were replenished daily. In general, water on the territory of the hotel is freely available everywhere, take it, drink as much as you like. There was also a kettle and tea bags in the room. And for some reason, only two cups for 4 people. They asked for two more. Twice they turned to the reception and once to the maids and still received these coveted cups on the second day of their stay. Tea bags and sugar were also replenished, but there was an acute shortage of green tea in the hotel. The air conditioner worked well, but blew on the bed of one of the children, so we slept at night with the balcony door turned off and open. There is electricity in the sockets only if the key card is inserted into a special slot.
3. Cleaning. The floor was washed every day. Not sure about changing sheets and towels. Covered - yes, towels folded - yes. And they changed or corrected the old one - it's not entirely clear here. On the first day I threw a towel with dark spots on the floor, I wanted no spots. After cleaning, I found it neatly folded on a shelf with the same spots, for the sake of truth, instead of 4 towels, we formed as many as 5 with it. I didn’t throw more towels on the floor except for a towel for my feet. Once it got very dirty, they really replaced it with a clean one.
4. The staff is not particularly friendly, with rare exceptions, but not rude. What they asked, they did everything, albeit without much enthusiasm. None of the skin climbed. Example. I did not find a bag of green tea around the hotel, I asked the bartender a question. The result - he turned his head in different directions, allegedly in search and shrugged his shoulders, they say, no, no. And he said something in Turkish, but go and understand him. No one rushed to look for tea for me, and to replenish their own depleted supplies, too.
5. Territory. The territory is occupied only by the hotel and bars, swimming pools. There is no place to walk at all. There is a playground near the annex buildings, but there is often sun. There are two pools. Water with chlorine. Used twice: the first - on the day of arrival, because I really wanted to swim, and there was little time left before dinner. And the second time when the children wanted to go to the slides. There are two slides, they work only part of the day. For the sake of interest once you can ride. The red one is less fast, but I hurt my elbows on it. She went down with a small child, and when she held him, she did not press her hands close enough to her. The end result is torn skin. But if you go down yourself and keep your hands to yourself, it's quite normal. Because of the chlorine, we didn’t go there anymore, they preferred the sea.
6. Beach. The sand is brown, there are a lot of cigarette butts near the sunbeds, if they clean it, it is not very active. The hotel has its own area under awnings for sun loungers, mattresses. Everything is free. We always had enough sunbeds, we went to the beach after breakfast. On the first day we tried to take a sunbed in the afternoon, leaving a towel. The beach worker took the towel, like it was his, and did not want to give it back. Managed to return the towel only after disputes. On the second day, it became clear that after dinner it makes no sense to take sunbeds, since there are enough free ones. Each hotel has its own sunbed area (beaches of other hotels are nearby), but coastline for swimming shared with others. Walk to the beach for about 10-15 minutes slowly with a child. Every 20 minutes a bus runs from 9 am to 5:40 pm and back accordingly. By bus, if you leave immediately - 1 minute maximum.
7. The sea is clean, if calm. The entrance is sandy, shallow water is quite extensive. When there were waves, near the shore the water was muddy from sand and algae, but further into the sea it is again clear. The water is very warm.
8. About food. The food is a solid five. Chefs are great. Lunch was similar to dinner, only with fewer dishes and less variety. The food is delicious, although there are many spicy dishes, sometimes the children could not eat what they chose, they had to look for something else. Every time there was meat and / or poultry, and fish, a couple of times there was liver, greens, raw and cooked vegetables, various side dishes, sauces, snacks, pickles, soup-puree. Sometimes there were cutlets, very attractive in appearance, and there was always a queue behind them, but in reality it was a semi-finished product or processed remains of yesterday's meat. For dinner, they always cooked something on the grill, mostly spicy. You could also order pasta to your taste, but there was always a queue for them. the menu is standard. French fries - eat at every meal. Of the fruits, there were always watermelon and melon, supplemented with some other fruit on different days: plums, apples, peaches, grapes. There are quite a lot of desserts, beautiful and appetizing. Several cakes. When we tried it after a couple of days, we realized that a lot of this is the same type and the variety is not so great. Although sometimes there were new things. The first day they served several types of baklava, then it was gone. For breakfast, there are always cereals of several types, waffles, cookies, halva, Turkish delight; eggs and omelettes in different variations. Milk. Pancakes. All kinds of toppings, liquid honey and honeycombs. You can make hot sandwiches with cheese and sausage or just toast. Buns, pretzels. Sausages, sausages, cheeses. I personally did not like the sausage, but the local cat ate it, at least one of the types. Milk porridge. Cheeses, mainly like cheese and suluguni.
From drinks Turkish tea and tea bags. Coffee from the machine is just disgusting, instant slop. But at breakfast there was always a tub of filtered coffee nearby, quite decent. You can also get hot milk here. In the bar, cola, fanta, sprite 7ap, sparkling water, packaged juices. Wine red, white, rose, beer. What kind of strong alcoholic was - no idea, they didn’t drink. White and red wine is so-so, but you can drink with good food. I didn't like the rosé at all. Maybe it's a matter of taste. In a cafe on the beach, cakes with filling are baked, followed by a terrible queue. They also made meat from turkey or chicken like for shawarma, cut it into pieces. Very tasty meat, by the way. We dined on the beach only once, for the sake of interest. An assortment of dishes was brought there for dinner from the main restaurant.
9. Contingent. I read about this hotel that German. I was waiting for a crowd of Germans, but I saw only a few of them and they were clearly drowning in the general mass of Turks and Russian-speaking people. Turks and Russian speakers are somewhere 50/50. By the way, the staff does not understand English at all. It is easier to explain in Russian than in English.
10. Entertainment and services. There is a paid doctor, did not apply. There was animation and some performances on all days except Sunday. We didn't go to them. The hotel has a free gym and sauna. Did not use. We wanted to buy a doctor fish fish massage, but there were no fish for our entire stay. Used this service on the street. Right next to the hotel there is a pharmacy and a hairdresser, at the hairdresser they took this massage, by the way, cheaper than the price list at the hotel. Were very satisfied - unusual, pleasant, ticklish and legs after him like fluff. On the beach, with those who wished, they played some kind of game with balls, and during the day they carried out aqua aerobics in the pool. Near our beach there are a lot of boats for banana or parasailing, of course for a fee. The hotel has a lot of shops with all sorts of things, there is a photo studio. Once a photographer came to the beach dressed as a pirate with a large lizard and a macaw.
11. Disadvantages: lack of any park for outdoor walks; sometimes non-compliance with sanitary standards by staff; the language barrier; insufficiently equipped beach (one changing cabin, and it seems that it did not close), the toilet and shower are far from own zone sunbeds on the territory of either the nearest restaurant, or the beach of another hotel; free smoking everywhere outside, even if there are children nearby, but this is more of a human factor and a matter of culture.
In general, the expectations were justified and the rest left a pleasant impression.

I gave the hotel a 4. On the sites in our country, it is often positioned as a five. We were in June-July 2017 together with my husband and a three-year-old child.

The main criterion by which I chose was the quality of food in relation to the price of the five, because no amenities will help if people get poisoned or the staff does not give a damn about the kitchen.

Bottom line: 7 minutes at a leisurely pace to the sea, a small area, not very green, rooms and cleaning - 4. The food is good. They always found something to feed the fastidious three-year-old toddler. I’ll make a reservation right away, in October we were in another hotel, also in Side, and after that they began to appreciate Narcia’s food more.

Location: 5 minutes from the sea, 5 minutes from Carrefour (a supermarket that has almost everything), 7 minutes by bus from the historical part. One hour drive from the airport. The location is good. BUT one nuance is the urban part of Side. There is also on the other side of the historical part (to the south, not to the north), where there are fir trees, fewer roads and more beauty and comfort. Here everyone must decide for himself why he is going. Here around the street, dust and traffic.

Territory.

There is a swimming pool (2 adults and children). I do not know about the quality - I have never swum. They went to the sea. There are two slides. Didn't ride. Open a couple of times a day. People are actively using it. There is a playground, but C grade for cleanliness. Minus more cats, since the playground is on the sand. In general, do not go there with a child. Can not say.

There is a cage with rabbits, which were sometimes fed with cabbage leaves. There is a shuttle to the beach. Not used almost, but the driver is positive. A lobby with a bar (tea, juice, coffee, alcohol), biscuit cakes and lemonade were also displayed in the lobby, they were almost always available.

The rooms are either on the pool or on the wasteland and another hotel that is far away. We have been to the desert. Generally quiet, except for a few evenings when there were parties in another hotel and the music was until 11-12 at night. Quiet during the day. Sunny side and everything dried well. They paid for the safe, 1.5 euros per day (or a dollar, I don’t remember). The bathroom was of normal cleanliness, not sterile, but everything worked, towels were changed, shampoos and soap were given. TV worked. It is convenient that for the child the bed was right against the wall in the bathroom on one side. On the other hand, they simply put a chair so that it would not fall. Of the minuses - there were problems with the lock of the door to the balcony. Came twice to fix it. Then they just got used to applying force and maneuverability when closing. Another nuance is the window to the bathroom, matte, you can't see anything, but when it's dark, the switched on light enters. Keep in mind those whose children are light sleepers.

Here's a five. Clean, gentle entrance. For kids, it's perfect. The water is transparent. The sand is golden. In the morning it’s a fairy tale, while there are no people. On neighboring beaches there are large stones (but in some places). On the other side of the historical part of Side, there are also good beaches, but for adults, since the depth drops sharply from the shore. We had, I think, an ideal option.

4 plus. Or 5 minus.

The choice is large, food is ALWAYS laid, and not just at the beginning. Breakfasts with buns, pancakes, omelettes, boiled eggs. Fritters and scrambled eggs can be made right in front of you. Outside, a lady makes Spanish-style omelettes, with your choice of ingredients. Everything is delicious. Well, maybe the omelets let us down a bit.

Minus only for the lack of cereals in the morning. And tactfully communicated on this subject with the chef. He sincerely believes that oatmeal put in hot milk is porridge)). I did not disappoint him, because everything else is excellent with him. Moreover, the chef himself almost always walks around the hall and kitchen, checks the display of food, communicates with guests. It is clear that the man enjoys his work.

For lunch - 4 dishes with meat at least. Well, that is, stewed beef, meatballs, stewed fish and some kind of chicken. This is for example. In the evening, another grilled dish is added.

Fruits: in June, watermelons, melons, apples always, oranges in the morning, more plums, strawberries. But for the last one there were almost fights - no words. Didn't even go to pick it up. Bought in Carrefour the day before and ate. Then they looked at the spectacle, how the hungry tenants of the hotel were ready to climb over their heads for her sake and almost torment their competitors. It's embarrassing, honestly. They raked full plates, as if from a hungry land.

There is also a restaurant on the beach where you can dine instead of the hotel if you are too lazy to return, but did not eat there, so I will not comment.

In general, the behavior of the guests is the only thing that could spoil the rest. Food secretly or in front of everyone was poured into bags (plums, for example), plates, glasses in the morning on chairs in the corridors (although there is also a sign asking not to bring dishes and food to the rooms). They raked in the dining room as on the last day before death. Shame and disgrace, honestly. You would see yourself from the outside. Moreover, this applies not only to Russians, but also to Turks and Germans ... everyone excelled.

Animation. I won’t say much about the evening, there were dances of invited ensembles, tricks like. We didn't stay. The mini disco is great. In the morning they did something with the children, but for a fee - 10 dollars. After dinner (well, when all the children are sleeping) - for free, but we did not see the process, since the child, of course, was sleeping at that time.

The general impression is positive. Especially considering the fact that this is an inexpensive five. Budget. I would recommend traveling with a child. But with the understanding that this is not a star abode, but more than an ordinary hotel, but with a responsible attitude to food.

Staff.

They speak Turkish, German and Russian. English is practically not spoken. Keep in mind. That is, if you start to explain yourself in Russian, but you will be understood better than in English, even if you are a hereditary Englishman. Although, maybe in the 18th year they will hire new staff. I don't know here. In general, keep in mind that Side is originally a German resort, which was built with German money. Therefore, the main foreign language of communication is German at first, then others.

The animator-girl, by the way, is just Russian-speaking, I don’t know, from Russia, Belarus, from Ukraine, but from somewhere from here. Very sweet and responsive.

Getting to the historic part of the hotel is easy. The bus runs along the next street. No transfers.

I hope the review helps someone)

OLEG

The location is good. Not far from the center of the old town, within walking distance. Can be reached by bus. Very nice beach. Fine sand and a gentle entrance to the sea. Meals on the beach, by the two pools, plus the main restaurant. The choice is large for every taste. In the lobby bar bartender Kadir makes delicious cocktails. The funniest and most sincere person in the whole hotel.

Small area, but everything is very compact and comfortable. There is a lot of food throughout the day, for every taste. You will never be hungry. Good animation program, It will not be boring. Rest is more for families with children, such people rest there. Something bad for myself I will not note. Maybe the lounge area on the beach is not ideal.

Hotel for families with children. It is quiet, the shows last until 22:15. The restaurant always has something for children to choose. Juices in packages, ice cream from 4 to 8 pm, there is always something grilled for dinner. everyone speaks Russian. A minibus goes to the sea every 20 minutes, if on foot, then 7 minutes. Vacationing abroad for the first time. All in all, of course, I liked it. Posted within half an hour. The food is very good, varied. The beach is clean. They didn’t always have time to clean up before lunch and it’s not very clean on the way to the beach (although the hotel is clean). We would go there again !!!

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were somewhat disappointed. Later they changed their impression, in principle the hotel is good. Cleaning in the room ah for four. They should clean the rooms every day, I wouldn’t say that this is so, they only made an appearance, the towels were also periodically folded without changing, they noticed that the towels were damp in the morning and remained the same in a complex form. Soap accessories were also not always added. But it's really trifles. Newly renovated rooms are clean and tidy. We were offered a room in a bungalow. We were two adults, two children, one of them was a baby. The room had one large double bed and two single beds. Yes, the sea is not far from the free bus, but we always walked. To be honest, I don’t even understand those people who rode it for a maximum of 5 minutes on foot and then at a slow pace, you have to be completely lazy. The beach was always clean. They always went and cleaned everywhere there were trash cans, a Turkish man always came up politely and offered sunbeds, where it would be more convenient for us to stay, sometimes he even brought mattresses. We were told that there is a pool with sea water in fact there is no such thing. The food is good and varied. From the fish every day there was either trout or mackerel and some other White fish. There was also meat, lamb, chicken, beef, veal, and turkey. We've had kebabs several times and they were delicious. Cakes and pizza near the hotel are sooo delicious, on the beach, too. Well, in fact, there are very, very many tasty things and various salads and meat and fish and sweet side dishes, a lot of desserts in general, I really liked the food. Special thanks to our animator Alena for all kinds of entertainment with children. Children are delighted, moreover, both the eldest six years old and the youngest 11 months old. In the evening every day there was a children's disco, both had fun. After that there was always entertainment for adults and children. Or a laser that or some tricks I show or quizzes in general, something went on every day. The place is definitely more suitable for families with children. If you like to hang out, then of course there is not much entertainment here. Prior to that, I went to Chimer a couple of times there, of course, a more party place. There is greenery and more here, more like a wasteland. From another country for children, there is a very good sandy beach and a long entrance to the water. IN shared hotel I would put a four with a plus, for animation-5

Very good hotel! Great inexpensive 5! Delicious food, nice spacious rooms! Room cleaning every day! The animation is unobtrusive! There is even a Russian girl! There are Germans, but there are also many Russians. English is spoken, some staff knows a little Russian. Sunset in the sea is shallow, convenient for families with children! In general, the rest was excellent, so I advise everyone this hotel as a budget five
