It was just an amazing stay at the hotel with amazing homely atmosphere. We went to this hotel on the advice of friends and now we understand that we will become its regular guests. We were far from the first time in Egypt, we love Sharm and prefer it to other Red Sea resorts. But it so often happened that the hotels were dissatisfied. This time we went with a large family with children and parents. Therefore, an important point was the entry into the sea. It is inconvenient, you know, with two children to swim at a depth, although they can swim, but you need to watch them all the time. Children 7 and 13 years old. I would like to warn you about the numbers. The hotel has the most best number superior, they come with a view of the sea or the pool. Further there are standard (very small area) and single savers (single tiny rooms). All this was told to us by tourists on the beach. We took a superior, as it was not possible to deliver extra beds in the standard. As a result, my parents and I were given two rooms next to each other. Both superiors overlook the main pool and partially the sea. They asked to deliver the beds one to each room. There was enough space left. The superiors have new furniture and plumbing. Particular attention in the hotel would like to be given to the beach. It is small, the beds are quite close to each other. The climb from the beach up for the elderly is tiring. But other advantages are obvious. Sandy entrance and coral reef of incredible beauty. In front of our hotel, snorkeling yachts park and everyone inspects the Phanara reef. We saw an incredible number of various fish: Napoleon, moray eel, manta, clown fish, needles. The sea is clean, beauty and cleanliness on the beach, despite the large number of people. The territory is very compact, you can easily find everything, while there is no feeling that it is crowded. Everything is very logical and well arranged. Animation at the central pool, there is also a restaurant where lunch is served, there are snacks and ice cream. The animators are very energetic, counted for Russians, French and Germans - the main contingent of the hotel. Food and drinks are excellent. There is always a choice in the main restaurant or by the pool, no savings like in other hotels in the low season. There was always enough beef, chicken, lamb, turkey were often served. Most often, the latter was cut and given into the hands. There was also a grill, very tasty kofte cutlets. The drinks are good, the bartenders try to create all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, while due to competent mixing, the taste of Egyptian alcohol was not felt at all. The staff is always smiling, from the cleaner to the waiter. The location of the hotel is also good. Near the complex 1001 nights, there is where to walk in the evening, not in the middle of the desert. Away there is Il Mercato street, there are many cafes, there are McDonald's, Starbucks. Everything is very decent. Can you go to Old city but it didn't appeal to us. Excursions were ordered from a trusted Red Sea Travel company, we have already traveled with them several times. My parents went to Jerusalem, my husband and children went to Jordan. Everything was well organized, the guides are professionals. We can recommend. The holiday was a success. We will fly to Iberotel Phanar again for the autumn holidays.
