Boeing 777 200 layout. North wind

Boeing 777-300 is the world's largest twin-engine turbofan passenger liner, created for long-haul flights (flight range - up to 11,000 km). This model was put into commercial operation in 1998, the first aircraft was transferred to Cathay Pacific.

Currently, the Boeing 777-300 is included in the air fleets of the world's major airlines operating long-distance international flights: Emirates, Etihad Airways, American Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Air Canada, Air China‎, Air France, Aeroflot, Rossiya and others.

The liner can accommodate from 305 to 550 passengers, depending on the layout of the cabin. Able to reach speeds up to 945 km / h. Aircraft dimensions: length - 73.9 meters, wingspan - 60.9 meters.

Modification of the Boeing 777-300ER - with an increased flight range up to 14,600 km, more and a wingspan of 64.8 meters.

Aeroflot

Aeroflot operates 16 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Full list boards: VP-BGB, VP-BGC, VP-BGD, VP-BGF, VP-BPG, VQ-BQB, VQ-BQC, VQ-BQD, VQ-BQE, VQ-BQF, VQ-BQG, VQ-BUA, VQ-BUB, VQ-BUC, VQ-BQM, VQ-BIL.

The layout of all airliners of this model at Aeroflot is the same. There are 3 classes: business, comfort and economy.

Below is a diagram and details of the best places in the Boeing 777-300 at Aeroflot in all classes.

Business class Boeing 777-300ER at Aeroflot

The most comfortable business class for long-haul flights is highlighted in rows 1-5. The total number of seats in this class is 30, they are arranged in pairs (the configuration in each row is 2-2-2).

All chairs are spacious, with leather upholstery, are conveniently adjustable, have several positions and even fold out into a horizontal bed.

Dimensions of each chair:

  • Length - 195 cm,
  • The width of the double block is 144 cm,
  • The distance between the armrests is 52 cm,
  • Space up to the seat in front - 150 cm,
  • Passage width - 42 cm.

Other business amenities: large personal monitors with Thales entertainment system, chef's menu, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks throughout the flight.

Separate bathrooms for business class are located at the front of the cabin.

Comfort class

Seats in rows 11 - 16, their total number - 48. The layout of the seats in a row: 2-4-2.

Seat characteristics:

  • Seat width - 49 cm,
  • The distance between the chairs is 96.52 cm,
  • All chairs are equipped with a USB port and socket,
  • 10.6" personal monitors with built-in Thales entertainment system.

Economy

In the economy class, rows 17 - 51 are located.

The best seats in the economy class Boeing 777-300ER at Aeroflot are Space +, their location is A, B, C and H, J, K on rows 24 and 38, that is, a total of 12 passenger seats. The main advantage of these places is the increased distance between the rows, you can freely stretch your legs. Compared to regular economy class seats, you will have to pay 1,000-4,500 rubles more to fly on Space+ or take advantage of offers bonus program airlines.

Places at the beginning of the economy are also considered successful - on the 17th row, where there is also a little more legroom.

When choosing among the usual places according to the Boeing 777-300 cabin scheme, Aeroflot has a general rule:

  • You need to take it from the porthole (A, K) if you are going to get up only in case of emergency or want to enjoy the view (but no one guarantees it - it depends on the time of day and the weather), an obvious plus is that other passengers who need to get up do not bother;
  • At the aisle (C, D, G, H) - you can get up freely without waiting for the neighbors in the row, but this is where the minus comes from: if the passengers nearby turn out to be restless, you will have to get up and let them through;
  • The middle seats are always considered the worst: there are no personal armrests (one can only hope for passenger ethics), there is no free access to the porthole and the aisle. The second option for unsuccessful places is near the toilets.

Nordwind Airlines (Nordwind, North Wind)

Nordwind's fleet uses an improved Boeing 777-300ER. The layout of the cabin is three-class.

Business Class

Number of seats - 38.

The business class at Nordwind is divided into two parts by the kitchen area: there are 22 seats in the nose of the aircraft, and the remaining 16 are behind the kitchen. The best in the business class are the first places in each of the two conditional sectors (ranks 1 and 8). Layout scheme: 1-2-1. Each seat unfolds into a full horizontal bed.

Comfort class

The comfort class has 63 seats.

Rows 20 - 27, of which premium - 20 - 23.

Seats in the Boeing 777-300ER in the layout variant from Nordwind Airlines: 2-4-2, for the 20th row - 2-3-2.

Economy

Best Seats - 18 Extra Legroom Seats: Rows 45 & 60 - A, B, C, H, J, K; rows 46 and 61 - D, E, G (besides, in front of these places there are attachments for cradles - an advantage for passengers with children).

Other good places in the economy - at the porthole or at the aisle, closer to the exits and not at the toilet.

Russia

The layout of Rossiya Airlines flights is different - there is only business class and economy class without an intermediate comfort class sector. The carrier practices two seating options, a special one for the EI-GET board.

Seats in the business class "Russia" on the Boeing 777-300 / -300ER:

  • 1 row - Super Space seats, the best on the entire flight, 4 seats;
  • 5th and 6th row - 14 seats, classic business class.

Business class on board EI-GET - 21 seats, rows 1-3.

Economy class:

  • from 21 to 61 rows;
  • The best seats in the economy (with increased legroom) are Space +, 21st, 36th, 49th rows.

The numbering of the economy class rows on board the EI-GET is from 4 to 49. The best seats (Space+) are located on rows 4, 7, 22, 36.

Depending on the layout, this aircraft has 11 or 12 toilets.

Emirates (Emirates)

Emirates has been using Boeing 777-300s since 1999. The Emirates fleet is now based on advanced Boeing 777-300ERs, with numbers nearing 130 and growing.

Boeing 777-300ER cabin layout with three classes and private cabins

The peculiarity of this board is 8 personal cabins. They are located in the nose of the aircraft and are available to passengers with first class tickets. Along with a gourmet menu, guests are offered pajamas, a cosmetic set and other nice little things.

The next most comfortable business class has 42 seats, fully reclining to a horizontal position.

Economy class seats - from 17 to 50 rows. At emergency exits 12 places, they are highlighted on the diagram.

Boeing 777-300ER cabin layout with three classes

In the first class there are beds - there are 12 in total, rows - 1 and 2.

Business class has 42 reclining seats.

Economy class rows - from 16 to 50. Emergency exits also have 12 seats (as with other layouts).

Boeing 777-300ER cabin layout with two classes

In this layout - only business class with 42 seats and economy class (all other seats).

The number of seats in the emergency exit row in economy class is 12.

On Boeing 777-200ER aircraft of Rossiya Airlines (tail numbers VP-BLA and VQ-BNU), the cabin is divided into two classes: business and economy.

How to choose best places to make the flight as comfortable as possible?

What are the best seats on an airplane? In the aisle, in the middle, by the porthole? In the bow or tail? in our article.

Boeing 777-200ER Rossiya Airlines cabin map

Business Class

The business class cabin uses a 2x3x2 seating arrangement. Seats in this class are located in rows 1 and 2.
Armchairs are marked:

In the 6th row, the seats are arranged as in the business class - according to the 2x3x2 scheme.

Row 3
The first row of the economy class of increased comfort has even more legroom, compared to the subsequent rows of this sector. In addition to the advantages, I would include the lack of front-facing seats, proximity to business and economy class toilets. The layout of the seats is 3x3x3.

Rows 4 and 5
The seats in these rows have standard legroom for this sector. To the benefits of all economy class rows superior comfort can be attributed to the location relative to the aircraft cabin.

The comfort sector is located in the bow of the Boeing. The number of seats in this sector is much less than in the "regular" economy class. During the flight, you will be spared from people walking around the cabin and queues for the toilet rooms.
The distribution of food begins from the nose and tail of the aircraft, you will be one of the first among the passengers to receive food.

Row 6
The extreme row of this sector has both advantages and disadvantages.
The pluses include the layout of the seats according to the 2x3x2 scheme. For those flying in pairs, it is ideal to book seats A, C and J, L. Located close to the windows and good overview two seats, as in business class.

By cons, I will attribute non-reclining seatbacks. The Boeing 777-200 is mainly used for long-distance routes. The seat back fixed in an upright position can create some discomfort during a long flight.

Rows 10 to 43 are given to the standard economy class. What are the best places in this sector, and which ones to avoid, you will find out by reading the article to the end.

Row 10
By choosing seats in this row, you will get the benefits of economy class deluxe for less money. A standard economy class ticket is cheaper, even if the airline asks for a surcharge for seats in row 10.

Passengers are provided with additional legroom, the absence of a seat in front. During the flight, your personal space will not be violated, because no one will lower the back of the seat in front.

Two steps from the toilets and the kitchen. According to flight practice, the majority of passengers prefer to use the toilets located in the tail section of the Boeing 777-200.

Armchairs of the 10th row are placed according to the 3x4x3 scheme and have letter designations:

A B C D E G H J K L

The disadvantages, with a big stretch, include the placement of hand luggage only on the shelf above the seats.
I do not advise fans of landscapes behind the porthole to choose the block of seats D, E, G, H. It is located in the middle of the cabin far from the windows.

Rows 11 and 12
These two rows have standard legroom. The layout of the seats as in the 10th row.
Actually, such a scheme is applied from 10 to 38 rows.

The view from the porthole in the 12th row is partially covered by the leading edge of the aircraft wing. Also, some discomfort can create noise from engines located on the wing.

Rows 13 to 28
The seats in these rows are above the wing of the aircraft. If you are not embarrassed by the limited view from the porthole, these places have no other drawbacks.

Row 29
The seats of this row are located on the trailing edge of the wing. The view from the porthole will be limited. Seat spacing is standard.
Among the shortcomings are additional noise from engines located on the wing and non-reclining seat backs in this row. Immediately behind it are the restrooms.

They are located in the middle of the cabin. There may be discomfort from passengers frequenting the toilets and queuing in front of them.

free standing chairs
In the Boeing 777-200ER of Rossiya Airlines, between rows 29 and 30, in the center of the fuselage, there is a block of 4 seats located opposite the toilet with all the ensuing consequences. Formally, it belongs to the 30th row.

The backs of the seats in these places do not recline, which creates additional inconvenience during long-haul flights. If possible, avoid choosing places in this block.

Row 30
The central 4 seats have increased legroom and no front seats. Of the shortcomings - a nearby toilet.

In front of the side blocks of 3 seats, due to the emergency exits in front of them, there is no wall. Due to this legroom is much more than in the business class. When exiting, you do not need to squeeze between neighbors if your place is at the porthole.

Among the shortcomings is the proximity of the central toilet, where economy class passengers from the central and tail sections will flock.

Rows 31 to 38
They have neither advantages nor disadvantages. The standard arrangement of seats is 3x4x3, the standard distance between the rows.

Rows 39 to 41
The layout of the seats in this block is 2x4x2. I recommend choosing seats A, C and J, L. The advantages I will include a wide passage between blocks of two and four seats. The absence of a third chair and, accordingly, another neighbor.

Keep in mind that from the 39th row, the constructive narrowing of the aircraft fuselage begins. In blocks of two seats, the case with portholes will be located at an angle to the seats.

Row 43
Worst uncomfortable row on a plane. It is located in the center of the fuselage and has only 4 seats. Opposite, on both sides, there are toilets, the doors of which go exactly to places D and H, there is no exit to the windows. Behind the backs, which do not recline, is the kitchen.

Photos from the Rossiya Airlines website

In 1994, she made her first flight new model Boeing, developed only with the help of computer graphics. This is a Boeing 777 200 aircraft. The liner is still operated by several major Russian air carriers. Consider the characteristics of this board and determine the optimal passenger seats for a comfortable flight.

On the basis of the 200, the developers supplemented the design with two more series: ER - a board with an increased flight distance - and LR, which flies over extra long distances. Since domestic companies use the basic series and ER models, let's talk about the characteristics of these particular boards. In addition, we will discuss what the Boeing 777 200 is, the layout of the cabin, the best places - we will note all these points in our article.

Boeing 777 200 made its first flight back in the mid-nineties

With an aircraft length of 63.7 meters and a wingspan of 60.9 m, the liner is capable of flying up to 14,300 kilometers, while developing a cruising speed of 905 km/h.

The interior of these models can be of several types of layout. Here are some typical class options:

  • single-class economy - 440 seats;
  • two-class economy + business - 400 seats;
  • three-class economy + first + business - 306 seats.

Wherein the total cabin width of the ER series aircraft is 5.87 meters, and economy class seats are arranged in a 3:4:3 format. In the first class cabin, the seats are arranged according to the 3:3:3 scheme, and the business class offers passengers seats according to the 2:3:2 type. In addition, in the standard cabin of the liner on blocks 39–42, the seats are arranged in a 2:4:2 format. On the last, forty-third line of seats, there are only four seats (Rossiya Airlines).

The above diagram will help you more accurately understand what the cabin plan of such a side is. Accordingly, people who prefer to watch the flight from the porthole choose seats marked A or L in any row. We will discuss some of the nuances regarding the flight and the convenience of passengers in more detail.

Layout of the basic side modification

Today, such aircraft are offered by one of the major aviation companies - Nord Wind. The Boeing 777 200, the cabin layout of which is shown in the photo below, is represented here by two liners. Consider the plan of the aircraft.

These are two-class models, where only 6 seats are placed in the business class cabin with a 2:2:2 layout. Thus, out of 58 rows, a single block is reserved for the line of seats with special comfort. The seats here are located at a sufficient distance from the partitions. Therefore, passengers occupying these seats are unlikely to experience inconvenience during the flight.

The common salon begins from the fifth row. Moreover, there is no strict numbering here - the line of seats at number 13 is not here for reasons of a superstitious plan. In addition, rows 15–19 and 40–44 are occupied by utility rooms. The interval between the seats of the line is about 74 centimeters, so such aircraft are considered not very comfortable for the flight.

In block 5 there are only 4 seats. The main disadvantage here is their placement along the central axis of the side. That is, sitting on this line, passengers will not be able to watch the flight through the window. Passengers who occupy seats 6 A and 6K are more lucky in this regard. People who occupy the rest of the seats in this line will have to look at the wall that encloses the business class cabin.

Behind the 14th, 39th and 58th rows are the emergency exit doors and the technical block. Accordingly, chairs for 12, 14, 37, the middle section 38, 57 and the entire 58 line are unlikely to be decomposed. And the proximity of kitchens and toilets will not be the best neighborhood.

20 seat line the layout is similar to 6 nearby. Here, passengers also watch the entire flight through the partition of the onboard bathrooms. However, experts are not inclined to compare these two options.

Row 20 is very noisy due to constant queues for the restrooms. In addition, there is much less space between the seat and the wall. The only plus here will be the dual seats. Seats C and H of the 21st row have similar characteristics, with the difference that passengers on these seats will be able to comfortably place their legs - the distance to the wall allows this.

Passengers planning to fly in the middle part of the board should remember that there are no windows on certain rows from 20 to 39. Therefore, if you want to take a seat by the window, check with an airport employee or an airline representative in advance.

In general, it is more comfortable for the flight. On the 45th line, the seats are located only on the sides, and a passage opens in front of them in the emergency exit doors. The inconvenience here is the proximity to the restrooms and, as a result, increased noise.

The seats of the central part of the 46th row are completely identical to the similar arrangement of the seats of the 21st line. The seats from rows 54 to 56 are also relatively comfortable. Indeed, in this part of the liner, the layout of the seats is located in the format 2:4:2. The last rows are traditionally considered the worst places on board.

Overview of the 777 200 ER Series

Now let's deal with the liners that it offers to fly. Boeing 777 200 ER, in which we will now consider the best places, suggests a slightly different interior layout. There are three comfort classes: business, superior and economy. The business class cabin has two rows of seats with a 2:3:2 layout. Here the flight will be quite comfortable and unlikely to bring inconvenience.

The improved seating starts in the third row and ends in the sixth row of seats. Moreover, the last block is arranged according to the scheme 2:3:2. Therefore, in this part of the liner, it is optimal to choose places 6A, 6C or 6J and 6L - they are located on the sides of the aircraft. But in general, the advantages and disadvantages of the first rows after the partition are similar to the previously considered example.

The central block of the salon starts from line 10. The seats along the sides border on the partitions of the bathroom, and the axial section - with the kitchen. However, the distance between the chair and the wall is quite sufficient for a comfortable body position. Therefore, the main disadvantage here is considered elevated level noise. When deciding to take places from the 12th to the 27th row, keep in mind that there are no portholes on some lines. The specific location of such "unfortunate" places should be clarified with the company's employees on a specific board.

Seat backs 29 and 43 lines on this aircraft are limited in unfolding or the seats do not recline at all. The reason for such inconvenience is not the most successful decision of the designers - the close location of the partitions of the technical blocks.

Seats in the compartment of the first class of the liner

30 line located just outside the emergency doors next to the toilets. Accordingly, there is enough space in front of the seats to stretch the legs, but, again, noisy. In addition, experts note the fact that the turbulence of the aircraft is more noticeable in the tail section of the side than in the nose block.

Seats in rows 40–41 marked A, C, J and L - paired, not triple. For this reason, they can be called a good option for young couples. As for similar chairs in the last two sections, a drawback can be noted here - the proximity to the bathroom. In addition, it is impossible to decompose into the seats of the last row - they are located almost close to the wall.

Features of the selection of chairs

When you are, you should pay attention to a few details:

  1. Do not choose places that are nearby office space. Passengers will go there all the time, and you will not have the opportunity to rest.
  2. It is also not worth buying tickets for seats in the tail of the aircraft - here the already noted problems are complemented by the inability to expand the chair. Agree, it is inappropriate to choose a seat where there is no possibility to recline the backs. After all, to be long time in one position is very uncomfortable.

When choosing a seat on this aircraft, you should avoid proximity to the technical blocks and the last row seats

The fact that blocks 13 and 17 are missing on some airliners is connected only with the personal motives of the manufacturers, this does not apply to safety at all. In addition, the design features of the liner suggest such changes.

Finally, we note an important nuance for beginners. Try to purchase tickets in advance and be sure to consult with an airport employee about the specific characteristics of the selected seat. A printout of the board diagram, which the tourist keeps with him, can also greatly facilitate the choice of a chair and protect him from a spoiled trip.

The video below shows the standard interior of the new modification of the described model, the Boeing 700 300.

The airline that operates flights to the destinations of the travel operator Pegas Turistik. However, after the bankruptcy of some Russian airlines some of their flights were taken over by Nord Wind.

Regular flights are carried out under the low-cost system (low-cost flights), where the ticket price may not include baggage, there may be no meals on board. All this is available for an additional fee depending on the direction.

Information about the company

Wind" began its flight activity in 2008. Ensuring flight safety and good service is a priority. Now " North wind" is in the top ten top airlines Russia.

Nord Wind operates flights from Sheremetyevo base airport, and in 2017, passenger traffic has tripled. On this moment the airline operates about 500 flights a week to one hundred and eighty destinations.

The aircraft fleet consists of 21 aircraft, including three B-772ERs. Initially, the airline was created exclusively for charter flights, so the cabin layout was changed from the standard to a more practical option.

Below in the photo is a layout of the Boeing 777-200ER cabin. Nord Wind owns two aircraft with tail numbers VP-BJF, VQ-BUD, with 387 economy class seats and 6 business class seats. The VP-BJH aircraft includes 261 seats for economy class passengers and 24 business class.

General information about the Boeing 777-200ER

Start of operation - 1995, the aircraft belongs to the long-range wide-body twin-engine monoplanes. The Boeing 777-200ER is an improved modification of the B772. It has an increased maximum allowable takeoff weight - up to 247,200 kg, a maximum flight range - up to 14,000 km. Boeing 777 200ER: comfortable luggage racks, cabin width - 5.87 m, portholes - 380 x 250 mm.

The aircraft was designed for transatlantic flights, according to general characteristics it is comfortable and quiet for long flights.

Boeing 777-200ER by Nord Wind

All three aircraft of this modification were previously operated in other countries, including Asian companies. Modifications VP-BJB and VQ-BUD first took to the air in 1998, and the VP-BJF liner in 2004.

  1. Boeing 777-200ER (Nord Wind) cabin layout for VP-BJB and VQ-BUD aircraft: economy class seats - three, four, three; 21, 39, 54, 55, 56, 57 rows - two, four, two; in business - two, two, two. Seats in economy class are narrower, made of lightweight material.
  2. (Nord Wind) VP-BJF aircraft: economy class seats - three, three, three; 47, 58, 59 rows - two, three, two; in business - two, two, two.

The seat spacing is up to 74 cm, and the backrest angle is more limited than in similar modifications of airlines engaged only in regular flights.

Evaluation of the best and worst places in the first and second salons of VP-BJB and VQ-BUD

In the Boeing 777-200ER cabin, the best seats that do not have significant disadvantages are located in the business class cabin. A comfortable flight is ensured by: a comfortable footrest, a good backrest, a chair step of a little more than a meter, a large table for eating and an increased seat width (one and a half times wider than in the budget class).

Economy class starts in rows numbered 5 and 6. Pros: no front-seated passengers (which means that no one will lower their seat back in front), the ability to hang a cradle for a child during level flight (which is why such seats are often reserved for passengers with children in their arms) and the lack of toilets and kitchens nearby, so the flight here will be more calm. The disadvantages include a small distance to the partition separating the two classes, that is, the passenger will not be able to stretch his legs forward, it is forbidden to hold hand luggage in the legs during takeoff and landing, as there is no holding mechanism in case of sudden braking of the aircraft.

The advantages of rows 7 to 11 are that the passenger can stretch his legs under the seat in front, place his hand luggage there (if necessary).

Rows 12 and 14 complete the first economy class cabin and are considered uncomfortable, as the kitchen is located nearby, the noise and movement in which will interfere with rest. The backs of the seats are fixed, as there is a partition and an emergency exit at the back.

From the 20th row, the second economy class salon begins. The advantage is the absence of forward-sitting passengers. There are much more disadvantages here: there is no way to stretch your legs, there is a kitchen and toilets nearby, constant fuss among the crew and passengers will create significant inconvenience. Smells from the toilet are also an unpleasant addition to comfort. In addition, queues for the toilet will line up exactly near the extreme places of this row.

The convenience of row 21 is only in seats C and H, because there is no chair in front of them and you can fully stretch your legs, but passengers who have gone to the toilet or simply walk around the cabin to stretch their legs will interfere.

Due to the absence of individual air conditioners in the luggage racks above the seats, the operation of the general air conditioning and air circulation system of this modification, the temperature in the cabin between rows 30 and 39 is higher than the standard cabin. And the seats on the 39th row are considered absolutely uncomfortable due to the toilet wall and emergency exits behind the back of the seats, so they are always fixed in an upright position.

Evaluation of the best and worst places in the third salon VP-BJB and VQ-BUD

The third salon opens the 45th row. Due to the presence of an emergency exit in front, it is possible to stretch your legs, and during the flight, no one will tilt the back of the seat in your direction. However, the close location of the toilets (unpleasant smells and queues of people who can stand at the emergency exits) turns such a place into a problematic one.

In the 46th row, the seats located in the middle of the cabin look at the toilet wall. Therefore, the disadvantages are unpleasant odors and the inability to stretch your legs.

Seats C and H in the 53rd row have more inconvenience from contact with passengers going to the toilet, crew and cart during service, since the fuselage narrows in this place.

Rows 54, 55, 56 are comfortable and consist of two seats on the sides of the cab, respectively, there is more peace.

There are restrooms and a kitchen near 57 and 58, so there is no way to recline the seat, and the constant noise and bustle in the toilet lines will spoil the flight.

In the tail section of the aircraft, turbulence is always stronger during turbulence than in the nose, for some this is discomfort.

Characteristics of the layout of the board VP-BJF

(Nord Wind) aircraft with tail number VP-BJF differs from the previous ones. The business class cabin consists of 24 seats (from row 11 to 16). in economy class increased comfort in the step of the chairs, so you can lower the backrest lower. Economy class consists of only two cabins and begins with numbering 31. Passengers who do not have front-seated neighbors during the flight are located in rows 31 and 48, but there are more distances for outstretched legs. The backs of the seats, fixed in a vertical position, are in rows 47 and 59. In rows 47 and 48, the presence of toilet rooms is considered a minus for rest, and for row 59, noise from the kitchen in the tail section of the aircraft.

When planning to fly to the islands for vacation or on business abroad, an inexperienced traveler has a question: how to fly safely and comfortably, how to choose the best places. Intercontinental transportation of passengers is carried out by a comfortable Boeing 777 airliner (made in the USA) with a three-row arrangement boarding chairs. The capacity of the aircraft is from 300 to 550 people. The layout of the Boeing 777 200 cabin will help you choose comfortable spot of the corresponding class, so that the flight delivers maximum comfort.

The flight range of the liner is 17,000 kilometers. Boeing 200 and 300 modifications have been operated by world airlines since 1994, during which time it has gained a reputation as the safest aircraft.

The largest air carriers in Russia are the companies:

  • Transaero;
  • Aeroflot;
  • Nord Wind (North wind);
  • Orenair (Orenburg Airlines);
  • S7 (Siberia);
  • Ural Airlines and others.

The layout of the cabin aircraft Boeing-777 of Transaero Airlines

On the example of Transaero aircraft, the layout of the seats in the Boeing cabin is shown in the photo. To improve conditions, the carrier has upgraded the cabin, so the capacity of the liner is 323 people. The distance between the rows has been increased, seats have been added. The arrangement of seats on different Transaero ships is different: 2-5-2 or 3-3-3 for economy, tourist, 2-3-2 for business class (groups of two and three seats are staggered).

On Transaero flights, travelers will be provided with:

  • warm blankets, pillows;
  • varied food, drinks;
  • alcohol;

There are two sectors with different levels of convenience on Nord Wind aircraft: business, economy. The Nord Wind company allocates only the first row (for 6-7 people) for a high class of comfort. There are 10 seats in one economy class line - the order is 3-4-3 (see photo). The interior spaces of Nord Wind aircraft are cramped compared to other carriers (see photo). But for one flight, the liner carries more passengers - the capacity is 393 people.

Aeroflot Airlines uses an improved modification. The space of the Boeing 777 300 aircraft (see photo) is divided into 4 sectors:

  • business - 1-5 rows with placement 2-2-2, located at an angle of 45 degrees;
  • comfort - arrangement order 2-4-2, 11-16 row;
  • space plus - rows 24-37, arrangement 3-4-3;
  • economy - rows 38-51 (up to 46 p. - order 3-4-3, from 47 p. grouping is used
  • 2-4-2).

How to comfortably sit in the cabin

The best seats are undoubtedly at the front of the ship, where business and first (comfort) class are located. Some aircraft have an additional imperial level for elite passengers (Transaero). The business level has places of increased comfort. But there are nuances here too. The proximity of the toilets, periodically arising queue to them, can cause discomfort to passengers sitting nearby. This applies to companies that allocate more than 20 seats for the business level (Aeroflot). In this sector, the seats are located at a considerable distance from each other (125-150 cm), which allows passengers to relax during a long flight and stretch their legs.

In the middle of the liner are seats for economy class passengers. Here, the distance between the chairs is less, so a tall person will be uncomfortable.

Proximity to the kitchen, toilets of the first and last rows can cause discomfort. You should not choose chairs near the aisle, it is likely that those passing by will touch your hand or step on your foot.

In the passenger seats in the tail of the aircraft, the sound of running engines is perceptibly audible. The distance between the seats is only 20-25 cm. In addition, rear turbulence feels harsher.

The best seats on a Boeing 777, regardless of level, are those in the middle. You should also choose a liner with no more than 3 seats in a row in one line. For example, the landing option is 3-3-3. With the arrangement of seats 2-5-2 places, it is better to choose those that are located near the hull of the vessel.

The seating sector breakdown, like the rest of the systems, is designed using computer simulations, but carriers have the right to upgrade the seating arrangement, remove or add seats. It directly depends on the airlines how comfortable the flight will be for the passenger.
