If you choose one for a week or two, it would be strategically correct to settle in Rovinj or Pula. From here it is easiest to get to the most interesting cities and take . We did the opposite: we started the journey with a 3-day stop in, then stayed in, and Porec was already compared with these towns. And very in vain. It does not lose either in color, or in the atmosphere, or in comfort. But still, after the larger Rovinj and Pula ...
And, of course, Porec is Istria, and in Istria in the summer, perhaps, the most comfortable. In more interesting and major cities in the south - Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik - water and air are 5 degrees higher than in Istria. Therefore, it is better to open and close the season in the south, and at the height of summer it makes sense to go to the more northern Istrian cities of Croatia.

Avid fishermen from Poreč (and all other tourist cities in Croatia) can go on an excursion with sea fishing. It is usually combined with a fish picnic, swimming in the sea - you will be taken either to secluded coves on the coast or to small idyllic islands.

So long, Porec! Perhaps we are subjective, but we categorically refuse to understand why Porech is one of the most popular among Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians. Despite the fact that there are not so many CIS citizens here as they used to be in Turkey and Egypt, and in general you rarely hear Russian in Croatia, here we still met fellow citizens.
We frankly missed the urban rhythm of life and hopefully rushed to Opatija, and there…
