Cherished tickets for the Donetsk-Sedovo bus are bought at the Yuzhny bus station on the day of departure. For two seats on the bus we give three hundred rubles - one hundred and fifty for each. In summer, tickets will have to be booked in advance - they predict an increase in the influx of vacationers.

We are going to look for housing. We plan to stay for a day or two. All around they knock with hammers and pull up signs. Preparations for the summer season are in full swing. But not everyone is in a hurry to open up. A disco, some cafes and a couple of shops do not yet look quite ready for the season.
It's still early. By the first of June everything will be open! explains a local teenage cyclist to us.
By the way, we immediately notice that there are very few young people among the inhabitants of Sedovo. Most of them are eager to study in Donetsk. They justify this by the fact that there are more prospects and opportunities in the capital of the Republic.
We find a place in fifteen minutes. And in the summer, if you do not book it in advance, then you have to wander for hours in search. We chose a house with air conditioning, TV, and most importantly - on the beach. Another plus - shower and toilet - own. For such a number they ask for a thousand rubles per day. It can accommodate three people. Prices in the first half of June will not go up significantly.
The owners of boarding houses, small courtyards and recreation centers told Komsomolskaya Pravda the estimated prices for the coming season. The private sector in June will cost around one hundred and fifty rubles per person, rooms with conditions and amenities - about five hundred rubles per person per day. For the so-called "Lux" will have to pay extra. Their prices have not yet been announced. They say that they will repel the influx of people.

We buy bus tickets in the building of the village administration. Not only the office of the head of the village is located here. Next to it is the ticket office of the bus station, the office of sewing services and a hairdresser.
It's not hard to find anything in Sedovo. Here everything is located side by side. We like this village. If you want to go to the museum, you won't have to go far - it's in the very center. Then to the store? Not a problem - half a minute from the museum. From the store, a minute to the market and pharmacy, and here the village administration is located. And then you can go to the library - also a minute walk. This is for those for whom the book is still interesting, and not old-fashioned.
So, after leaving the administration, we go to the supermarket to skimp on dinner. Let's find out prices. We immediately notice that here they are higher than in Donetsk. Compare with the "First Republican Supermarket".
The price of cucumbers is surprising - ninety rubles per kilogram. This is approximately forty rubles more expensive than in the capital of the Republic. Garlic and frozen fillet are fifty rubles more expensive. The prices for alcohol are also too high, but for flour, milk, salt, sugar, onions and bread - they do not differ significantly.
After shopping, we return to the boarding house. Already here we are advised to buy products on the market. There prices are cheaper and almost everything is homemade.
Advantages and disadvantages
The evening is given out fighting. Fight against mosquitoes. There are really a lot of them here. Before the trip, be sure to stock up on funds from small "bloodsuckers". There are also positive aspects. Pleases the sound of the night surf, the smell of sea freshness and the starry sky.
In the morning, as we were advised, we go to the market. It is better to come to the trading shops no later than five or six hours, immediately after dawn. At this time, the "stars" of trade arrive, which are sold out very, as it turned out, quickly.
Food prices are reasonable. Strawberries - two hundred and thirty rubles per kilogram. Eggs - fifty for a dozen, onions - thirty, sour cream - a hundred for a half-liter glass, new potatoes - sixty per kilogram.
Not everyone will be able to calmly walk past the fish showcase either. Dried pike perch will cost three hundred and fifty rubles per kilogram, ram - an average of one hundred and fifty rubles per dozen.
Milk from Zorka and Martha is in great demand!

Usually the peak of the season on the Sea of Azov falls on July. But Sedovo, the only resort village in the Republic, is an exception to the rule. Here boarding houses were filled with vacationers already in mid-June. Thousands of residents of the two republics of Donbass and guests from Russia came to a small piece of the coast.
Many of them began to talk on social networks not only about the wonderful sea, but also about the shortcomings of the vacation. And, frankly, they are not so few. Some did not like food prices, others did not like the situation with closed passages to the beaches, and others did not like the checkpoint at the entrance to the village.
To understand all this, our correspondents went on a two-day vacation.
The queues at the checkpoint have not disappeared
We leave Donetsk by car at two o'clock in the afternoon. Already at the very beginning of the journey we are exhausted from the heat. I would like to swim in the sea.
The road is much better now, Pasha notes. - The year before last, I had to go around huge pits.
Indeed, the roadway was repaired - and this is a big plus. Yes, bad sections remain, and the driver has to snake along them (especially before and after Telmanovo). But still, it doesn't compare to the previous situation.
We drive up to the checkpoint at the entrance to Sedovo. Anyone heading to the coast needs to register. The process itself is simple: the police enter the passport data of the vacationer and the identifier of the mobile phone into the computer.
This caused a lot of inconvenience last year. We had to stand in line for several hours. Now, to improve throughput, the number of computers has been increased from three to six. But so far, for some reason, they only work on three. In addition, the Internet keeps disappearing. So the wait is even longer.
Forty minutes later it was our turn. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs enter our data into the computer. It takes five minutes. At this time, puppies are fussing around us, and their mother is watching from the side.
Will you take the puppies? the policeman asks us, abruptly changing his stern look.
No thanks, we have enough livestock.
So far, we can not distribute our replenishment. Even the announcement was hung up, we offer to give it to good hands, but no one wants to take it. So far we are taking care of them, - the policeman says and pours water into a bowl. - They feel good with us: we feed them according to the schedule, and vacationers always play with them.
Bring groceries for the weekend
We settle in the boarding house "Jubilee". The room for us was booked long before the trip. There are no vacant places in the two-story building on the seashore. In all rooms settled children who were injured during the hostilities. Children rest with their parents.
We decide on the last day of our trip to organize a sweet table for the kids (read about this in the following issues of the newspaper and on the website website).
In the morning we go to "inspect" the prices. The market has a large selection of fruits and vegetables. Prices are higher than in Donetsk. If in the capital tomatoes cost 60 rubles, then here they ask for 100. Young potatoes - 50 rubles, pork - 250, sausage - 300-350, a bottle of homemade adjika - 50. You can buy fresh fish in the early morning, and only dried fish is left for dinner , dried and smoked - a whole range of products on the market has been allocated for it. Dried pike perch - 350 rubles per kilogram, ram - an average of 250.
Prices for some products helps bring down the local supermarket. It is located right next to the market. Here you can buy whatever your heart desires.
Compared to other resorts, prices are not gigantic, but still high, - says vacationer Sergei Efimov. - We came here for the weekend, in our car. Therefore, they took with them the necessary supplies: meat, alcohol, drinks. Here we buy mainly vegetables, fish and bread.
Homemade wine is offered at every step
The aromas of ready-made dishes are carried around the market.

Every morning a woman brings home-cooked food to the market. For those who do not like to cook on vacation or do not have such an opportunity, this is an ideal option. Food will be cheaper than in a cafe. You can buy food for breakfast, lunch and dinner from Svetlana and other vendors.
I cook everything: potatoes, pilaf, meatballs, meatballs, chops, a variety of salads - all of your choice. People take it apart. Then they come a second, a third time. They say that it is very tasty, - the woman shares with us.
After tasting the food, we move on. Homemade wine is offered at every step. But we refuse. Firstly, at work, and secondly, we do not understand how local residents manages to make so much natural wine that it is enough to sell for the whole season. Perhaps the wine here is really good, but we decided not to risk it.
"Strangers don't roam here"
We go to boarding houses to find out how they are doing with vacationers.
We have no places, everything is booked almost until the end of summer, - the owners of many boarding houses answer. - Go to the private sector, to mini-hotels.
We are trying to get to the beach through a private boarding house - we really want to freshen up. But we come across a closed gate.
Where are you going, huh?! Do you live with us? the guard yells at us.
No, we want to go to the beach.
Go to public. We have a beach only for our vacationers. Aliens don't roam here.
How so? The passage was opened last year.

There are only two public beaches in the center of the village. Two more are on the outskirts. Fortunately, last year a bus was launched in the village. It runs along the coast along Komsomolskaya Street every half hour. The fare is 10 rubles.
Here's your rest: if you settled on the second line, be so kind as to walk a kilometer, or even more, to swim in the sea. Or wait in the heat for the bus. As a result, public beaches are already clogged. And in July, most likely, you won’t push through them at all.
They say that the owners of some boarding houses of the second line have agreed with those who have their own beach on the first line so that vacationers can go to the coast, the seller of cotton candy tells us. - You approach the gate and say, they say, I'm from such and such a boarding house - I came to swim. Security or administrator write down your passport data and let you through.
Housing prices are consistently high
Having bathed, we continue to bypass private boarding houses. The pricing policy, compared to last year, has not changed much. Private sector with shower and toilet on the street from 200 rubles per person and more. This price suits vacationers.
We rested here before the war. Prices were lower, and there were fewer people. But now we don't complain too much. We have amenities on the street. And for rest we have enough beds, bedside tables and a wardrobe in the room. We come here to swim in the sea, - says Irina Khomenko, renting a room in the private sector.
But the cost of living in a room with private facilities, a private bathroom, a kettle and air conditioning starts from 500 rubles per person. Some owners have raised prices.
Last year you had such a number for 1000 rubles, and this year – 1300. Isn't it too much? - ask the administrator of the boarding house.
Who wants to, he will settle, and who does not - there are other boarding houses. We have no problems with vacationers, - the woman answers us.

In the evening, another Sedovo appears before us - full of entertainment and night lights. Music is heard from each cafe, which merges into a cacophony on the main street. Families with children, couples, young people... there is something for everyone. Children are attracted to the amusement park. For adults, there are extreme carousels and a shooting gallery.
